静かにのんびり過ごせるリゾート。
部屋は新しくて清潔。ビーチに面する施設内に２つのプールがある。スタッフがフレンドリー。

滞在費が割安だったが、部屋、施設内に設備には問題なく満足できた。全体的にコスパは高い。しかし施設内でのWIFIは有料で、かなり高め。フロントではオーナーと思しき女性が、滞在客一人ひとりにきちんと接客していて感じが良かった。リゾート内には、飼い猫が何匹もいて、ネコ好きの私としては、これが一番のお気に入りだったかも...
不満な点をいくつか挙げます。まず朝食が味、量ともにあまりいただけない。滞在客が少なかったためか、ブッフェ形式ではなく、アメリカンかタイ風ブレックファーストの選択式。朝のブッフェは、リゾートライフの楽しみだっただけに残念。
それから、部屋の備品について。ゴミ箱がバスルームにしかなくて、とても不便。シャンプーとボディソープは常備されているのに、石鹸がなかった。この点改善されたし。
最後にもう1点。ホテルに立地は、海を見下ろす峠道の急勾配、さらにＳ字コーナーの途中にあります。車で来る方は、敷地の出入りにご注意を。
グルメ:
車で5分以内のあたりにレストランやスーパーマーケットが密集している区画があり。タイ人の金銭感覚では、すこし高めととても高めなレストランが混在しているのでよい食事を楽しみたい方は事前のリサーチをしておきたい。今回この地区で食事したレストランでは、Salathai(シーフード）VikingSteakhouse(ピザ、イタリアン）は、値段的にはけっこうおすすめ。

relaxing stay
2 pools, on the beach & beautifully maintained gardens

we had a good stay here,but just be careful as there is no shuttle to town. if you want to walk in the heat for 20mins thats ok but everytime you take a taxi or tuk tuk its 100-200 baht and over a 9 day stay thats an extra 2000 baht on your expenses. they also charge you for wifi and internet and we asked for an extended check out time to 3pm, and after staying 9 days we thought that would be ok, but no, a charge per hour is required. we really enjoyed Khao Lak, but next time we will be looking for a place closer to the town.

Visually attractive resort, but soulless!
Beautiful gardens, spacious rooms. Breakfast very acceptable.

We found the food and beverage staff with one or two exceptions were extremely unfriendly.
The seaview bungalow overlooked the Pool, Bar and Restaurant and the seaview was more of a sea glimpse!
There is limited space for sunbeds around the pool and in the garden area overlooking the beach. The Resort was fully booked and people were getting up as early as 4:30 in the morning to put their towels on the sunbeds, and on some occations they were putting them out the night before! We feel this is a Management issue that needs to be delt with. The garden/sunbed area overlooking the beach was not daily maintained, with cigarette ends, bottle tops and a broken parasol were laying around for days.
There is a steep incline from the beach to the reception, which may not suit everyboby. Also there are steps to get on to the beach.
Khao Lak is spread over a few kilometers, and the resort is a taxi ride to the centre. I would recommend to rent a car to fully appreciate the area.

we stayed at the bay front between two diving trips and have no length experience from it. the staff is very nice and helpful. we had booked two nights and needed to re-arrange to move one of these two nights firther into the future. in spite that the voucher did not allow this, the hotel accepted without any additional extra charge. that is good service.
we booked the de-luxe romms, very nice and spatious. the breakfast could be better, given the price and quality of hotel. but, enough to fill the stomach.
the location is ok but if you want to dine outside it is a bit far from khao lak center, maybe a 20 min walk or a few minutes by songthaow (a whooping 50 baht per person and direction).

Well run Hotel, quieter part of beach
Friendly staff, spacious if basic rooms, fantastic massage

compact but well run hotel backing onto a quieter part of khao lak beach. staff friendly and attentive. rooms are not luxurious but well equipped and spacious. massage is the same price as beach vendors and in beautiful surroundings. very popular with germans & swedes. site is on a steepish slope so not suitable for people with restricted mobility.

Lovely great value for money hotel on beach

Had a great time here. Was great value for money and would definitely stay here again. I was diving and at one point the guys who were meant to pick me up were pretty late. The lovely reception staff became very concerned and tried several times to ring the dive centre for me. Just one example of excellent customer service.
観光:
Khao Lak is not the place to come if you want a massive nightlife. Not much happening but that's why I like others really like it here. Not as dirty as places like Phuket either. Check out IQ dive if you want to scuba dive.

The hotel is right on the beach with two different pools including two children's pool. Nice sun beds with umbrella's with view of the beach. Could easily eat at the pool bar during lunch and dinner time. Prices around 150THB and up per person. The room nicely decorated and clean. They quickly clean the rooms right after breakfast and was generous with new towels. The Spa was great and prices reasonable (about 300 THB and up for different massages). Calm and quite atmosphere. Very nice place to relax. If you did a short walk on the beach there was a local restaurant with cheaper food prices. I think about 90 THB for friend rice. 1 km to walk into town. But there was sangtows outside the hotel gate that would take you for about 50 THB if you did not want to walk. We also had our laundry done right outside the gate of the hotel. 50THb per kilo. The clothes came back clean and nicely ironed - 24 hours later.

Very nice hotel area right on the beach
clean and large rooms with ac, nice bathroom, luxuray pool area and the free sunbeads right at the beach. even that we stayed during high-season (christmas), it was very quiet and plenty of space at the beach.

very nice and helpful staff, wonderful garden and pool area. the hotel is located just at the end of the beach so it is still and plenty of space even during high-season. it is approximate 2 km to the city center and the large supermarket in khao lak. we walked a few days, but it takes only a few minutes if you rent a motorbike from the hotel.

Garden of Eden
Beautiful garden, two pools, right on the beach, great breakfast, nice rooms.

We just loved this hotel!!! Amazing garden, really beautiful resort. Breakfast has many choices, best so far in Thailand (been a few times). Beach is nice and few people. Nice swimming, not alot of waves or under current. A 30 min stroll on the beach to village center, but short by taxi ( walking on the beach is more tempting) Nice rooms ( though a few more chairs on the balcony for guests, or a small sitting group in the room , would be better), good service. Cannot say that I really missed anything here. Would not say that it is great value for money, since it is expensive for thai standards, but you really get luxury for what you pay.Highly recommended.
観光:
Be sure to check out tour-options also in the center of town. Many offer exactly the same trips, so why pay 500 THB more per person for the same thing? Massage is less expensive in the center than in the hotel spa, and has the same quality.
