Better than expected”
The resort was even better than what we had expected from the online pictures. We had a beach front suite that was spacious, extremely clean, thought out in all the details. Our patio had two private beach beds, and direct access to the beach, just one or two steps ahead. The beach in front of the hotel is one of the best pieces of Ngapali beach. From this resort you also have the possibility to do a Short walk (just a few mins) down the beach to the local restaurants for bbq food (mostly fresh fish) and drinks (especially coconut juice and beers). The hotel’s Pool is very scenic, but mostly usable for fun, and not for swimming. The staff was courteous, with the exception of maybe just a couple of them: yet everyone, as most other places in Myanmar, bedazzled you with their smiles. Along the beach there were numerous outdoor showers you could use after bathing In the ocean..... Also they had a great complimentary service from and to the airport! Overall we were very satisfied with the resort and the service! I would definitely suggest it to anyone who is looking for a luxurious place in Ngapali beach, but doesn’t want to place their money in the most expensive hotel!

Lovely Place”
The Amazing Ngapali Resort is a great place for a beach vacation. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are large and comfortable and the beach around the resort well cared for. The staff couldn't be friendlier. The food provided for breakfast is plentiful and of high quality. The internet is slow but that's to be expected. The location is relatively far away from the main area which means a less crowded beach but also means you're further away from many restaurants and shops. However there are several very good restaurants within walking distance of the resort and you can rent bicycles during the day to ride into town. It's an easy ride with very few hills but watch out for traffic. Be aware that some of the amenities provided by the resort are a bit expensive, a liter of water from the mini bar is $1 (USD) versus $0.30 from the convenience store across the street. Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Amazing Nga;ali Resort.

Beach trip”
My friends told me not to go to Ngapali Beach because it was in the wet season. I would totally disagree. The resort was great, huge rooms, well maintained, clean and organised. Yes it was quiet but that made it better, yes it was raining, but it was 30 degrees and rain, no it didnt rain all day every day. The beach at the hotel was clean, water was warm, the pool was well maintained. There is nothing like having an early night, laying in bed, listening to the rain and the sound of the waves on the beach, ultra relaxing. My room was like 25 feet from the beach. Would I go back, of course. Thank you to the staff and crew at the Amazing Ngapali Resort for a great stay

An amazing hotel”
After a 10 days cruise we did enjoy 6 days at the Amazing Ngapali Resort. We were spoiled and looked after from A to Z. Started with the ladies at the reception, the hotel manager, the staff in the restaurant, room service and the poeple working in the garden as well. All were always friendly and very helpfull. We had a suite facing the Ocean. A dream. A big thank you to the whole Amazing team. Nevertheless we would like to particularly praise 2 employees. Once «Cho Me» working in the service team. She was very capable, helpfull and always very friendly. In addition «Lu Aye» working at the bar. Very efficient, friendly and always a smile on his face. We can recommend this hotel and did spend great days in the Amazing Ngapali Resort.

Amazing Resort at the Amazing Beach.”
Stayed from Nov 24 to 27 in 2019 at SeaView Deluxe with family. Room was very spacious and clean. Staffs are very friendly as well. Breakfast offered plenty of choices. Rakhine traditional dish "Mont T" was our favorite. The view from our room to the beach was awesome. This resort is a true beach front resort. I've been to Phuket, Krabi, Bali and Long Beach but Ngapali has become our most favorite beach. Hope to visit this lovely beach and Amazing Ngapali Resort.

Chillaxing at Ngapali”
Very chilled out resort at Ngapali Beach. Chrome our waitress was fantastic, smart as a whip and great sense of humour. The food was lovely fresh and being near the fishing village, heaps of seafood. Lovely spacious rooms but the bathroom was a bit shabby. The beach was clean and many hours spent watching the sand crabs digging their burrows till the tide came in. There is a beach break so wave jumping more than swimming. The pool over looking the beach was clean but very shallow. Overall a great relaxing time at Amazing Resort.

The Amazing Hotel stands out as one of the best we have stayed in. The hotel is on a lovely part of Ngapali Beach surrounded with some nice little local restaurants & local friendly characters. We enjoyed the breakfasts at the hotel with a good selection of both Asian & European food. We also had 2 evening meals which we really enjoyed, but if anyone was to ask what was the biggest ‘Pluses’ at the hotel we would have to say the staff. Everyone from the reception staff, room attendants, gardeners, spa staff , & the waiters/ waitresses were wonderful. We will be talking about our Burma experience for years to come & our time spent at the Amazing Hotel.

best choice during rainy season”
definitely best beach and hotel to stay on ngapali during rainy season. unlike other hotels in the area this one is fully operative. we stayed before in Thundersley Beach Resort and was not.fully operative. very nice beach that they clean everyday, excellent rooms and breakfast. very polite staff, specially Gho Me and her colleague, they will have a fantastic career taking so much care of the customers. do not hesitate: during rainy saison this is the place to stay in Ngapali

Amazing vacation on the beach”
We stayed 5 nights at that hotel in a front row villa on the beach. The view was amazing. The beach is probably the best in Ngapali, no rocks on the beach and on the ocean floor, very calm water. Very quiet place, you can completely relax. Food was great, their shef is French and he is constantly present in the kitchen and at the restaraunt. Prices for diner is a little bit high for Myanmar.We went to local restaurants for dinner every night. The service in the hotel was very good and fast. The only thing that needs improvement is spa. There is no special massage tables with space for face, the dont't cover your eyes, the Thai massage itself was nothing special, it was definetely not amazing. We did not want to repeat that experience.

2 nights, off season, 1st visit to area. OK, after 2 nights of very basic $20 guest house rooms Amazing was an oasis. Off season value 5 star but more expensive at other times. Probably still good value. Will appeal to tourists looking for Western features in a resort. The staff are great and most have OK English. I would recommend the upstairs rooms if no kids, otherwise the ground floor for easy access. Big rooms with big balcony right on the attractive beach. TV reception poor, no microwave, room Wi Fi usually OK but being serviced for my visit, however worked fine in the restaurant. Mini bar exy, BYO or buy beer /local Ayetharyar wine from the North Star restaurant self serve fridge 200m up the road, exit right, restaurant on the left. Borrow a bicycle and ride 10 k flat to fishing village, and/or 7k to Thandwe market, and/or 2k to excellent K2 restaurant opposite the Hilton. Fly to Thandwe airport f, only a 20 minute transfer. Do not attempt to drive or bus to Thandwe/Ngapali.

Lovely Resort on a Perfect Strip of Beach”
Came here as a married couple and stayed at a few places along the Ngapali coast. This was our last stop. Stayed in a beach front cottage for 2 night. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the beach here was the best we experienced all long Ngapali. Beautiful white sand, clean, and perfect water to swim and float around in for hours. Was here over wife’s birthday and staff prepared a cake and table for us at breakfast the morning of her birthday. Also had a surprise parting present for her. Not too expensive, great value for money on the beautiful stretch of coastline.

Enjoyable week in Amazing Ngapali Resort”
We stayed seven nights at Amazing Ngapali Beach which was an excellent choice to relax after Mandalay and Inle Lake. The best part of this hotel is obviously the beach. At least during our stay the beach basically ours because there weren't that many other tourists in the hotel. Secondly, the breakfast was superb (at least compared to other facilities we stayed during our stay). The buffer included huge variety of different options to choose from. Finally, we liked our beach front suite even if for example the toiler and shower was a bit outdated. There are few good restaurants within the walking distance. I recommend trying Golden Fish.

Beautiful location away from busy tourist areas. Really had nice layback atmosphere. Very kind and hospital staff. The resort is one of the older establishment in Ngapali, so the facilities and rooms show some age but maintained very well and clean. Free pick up and drop off service at airport or other resort was very convenient and generous. Good breakfast. I really felt I was in Myanmar, not Phuket or Bali. I’ll definitely return.

Exceptional”
The best hotel during our three weeks in Myanmar. Our room was very spacious and had a large balcony. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well, listening to the waves. The beach was so empty (and clean), it felt like our private beach and there was no shortage of sunbeds. The breakfast was amazing and the best we've had. There was everything you could ask for and the quality was great. They also brought us snacks to the room every night, another lovely touch. However, the best part is the staff. Everyone is extremely well trained, speaks fantastic English and is super attentive. We'd like to say especially huge thanks to Chomee, who looked after us a lot and even taught me how to make a delicious tea they were serving. The resort is superb on all accounts, but most of all the staff. And the prices were really reasonable for a resort of this level.

Lovely hotel with fantastic beach”
We had a great time at the Amazing Ngapali Resort. Fantastic beach, very friendly staff and we were very happy with our rooms. The only thing we didn't like was that they were fogging against mosquitoes every evening, right after they had set the table for dinner around the pool.

Relaxing resort away from the city noise”
The room at this hotel is amazing. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The whole facility is very clean and the beach is serene and quiet. There are no hotels beside the resort which makes you feel that you have the beach all to yourself. However we did see a few hotels being constructed so this might change soon. The restaurant was great which offered more western food than local food. Or ices at the restaurant are higher but i recommend staying for dinner and having their bbq. They have a great selection of seafood for very cheap. The resort only accepts usd cash and in Myanmar they will only take clean, new bills. Not even a tiny tear can be on the bill. The resort offers bike rentals for $1 usd per hour or $5 for the day. We rented their bikes to cycle to the fishing village which was about 1 hour away (one way).
