We first didnt like it, but we loved it in the end!”
We first booked a room on one side of the hotel, the room was close to the pool, which was quite noisy but it didn't feel comfortable. We decided to pay more to get a more comfortable which was approx $200AUD for the 5 nights we stayed and it was much better! Larger room, bigger tv, great view of the city. I would recommend paying the extra to get the larger room. I want to give a special mention to the hotel staff in the lobby. We were waiting in line to be served and their were others trying to cut in line. They advised them that their is a line up but still refused to go there. When we got served, they made sure we go served before them. This happed again a few other times while I was down stairs to ask a few questions and they handled the situation well. They were all wonderfull and they deserved praise. Definitely would stay here again!

Excellent stay, fabulous rooms!”
We arrived here as a couple after our long flight from the UK, we stayed for a couple of nights, then went on a tour around Thailand, as we liked this hotel so much, we decided to do one last night stay here before our return flight back to the UK, we stayed in a deluxe room for the first two nights, then stayed in a privilege room for our last night, the rooms were both spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was incredible, plenty of choice for everyone, we would definitely stay again when we return to Thailand and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stay at the ambassador ”
I always stay at the ambassador on sukhumvit 11, it's clean, the staff is very friendly the room are very big, 377 sqft. It's location is perfect and the breakfast is very good. Remember to tip the food service folks and the maid. Give the maid 100 baht every 2 days and leave 40 baht Asa tip for the good breakfast. Remember that the pandemic was very hard on these folks so please keep this in mind now that things are moving back to normal.

Good hotel in good location. Very clean. Bit of a mix up at check in but nothing too major and was given a free upgrade to compensate. A lot of Indian travelers that think rules don’t apply to them so the don’t bother wearing mask etc etc hotel should maybe challenge them more on this for the safety of others. They also think everyone else enjoys standing in a queue and they don’t have to

Very nice clean affordable hotel, my only concern and annoying thing was the noise level from guests. We were on the fifth floor and from 11 pm to almost 3 am, kids were running around in the corridors unsupervised. You could hear the grown ups chatting on the speakerphone. That was very irritating, I think the hotel should be monitoring these things by putting up signs or random checks. Other than that, it’s a wonderful hotel.

A fantastic stay in hotel Ambassador”
The hotel is just awesome. It has all the facilities. The deluxe tower wing rooms are large with a superb view of skyline of Bangkok. The service is very propmt. Really enjoyed the stay. Only issue we had that there was lots of noise coming from the room next to our room 2191. The boarders mostly some bachelors were shouting and was making noise until 1 am at night and we were not able to sleep almost that day. Rest of the things are ok.

big hotel syndome ”
this is a large hotel and because of this things seem to take longer than needed. i have stayed there twice and on each occasion there seemed to be some thing missing in atmosphere, just so many people there you are not recognized by staff . but it meets all the requirements to be called a four star hotel. its safe and secure with nice restaurants. it is in a good location and as the Soi is being rebuild i expect the Soi will become a hotel cluster and the prices will go up.

This was my 6th time staying at this hotel. I was given an early book In but charged a non refundable B1,000 which I am not too impressed with as it was clear the room was already available, other than that my stay was good in this lovely clean hotel with friendly staff.

I've stayed in many many hotels in Bangkok and this one was by far my favorite. Shops, restaurants, great location, clean, fast internet, helpful staff, and a COMPLETE BOXING GYM WITH INSTRUCTORS AND EVERYTHING. Highly recommend if you're gonna stay on Sukhimvit.

It’s close to sky train and has many travelling options. There are many restaurants on the street. Property is big and there are different restaurants. Breakfast has good spread and staff behaviour was very good. They gave me a room at 20.00 am on my arrival, even though check in time was 2.00 pm

Location was perfect to return from bars, clubs and entertainment. Staff was very friendly. Room was quite comfortable offering all including refrigerator, AC, nice bed and walk in shower with warm water.

Good sleep, nice view, well located”
I had a nice quiet room with a good view in the tower wing as I had requested. It's proximity to bts Nana was most important as I could go anywhere without relying on someone else within minutes. The staff was good to me throughout which is why I extended my stay here instead of trying out a different hotel/area. The room was cleaned/replenished regularly. I didn't use much of the other facilities in the hotel. Their cafe in the tower wing lobby is quite good. Their security is pretty good too. I would advice young female travelers to exercise caution in the lobby at night as some drunk guests were seen crossing the line. Safe otherwise.

I like the Ambassdor, its one of my favourites in Bangkok. I normally stay in the Tower Wing but decided to try the Standard wing, a nice clean room, really good value for the price.

Ambassador saved our Girls Trip ”
When we arrived at the Ambassador hotel Bangkok we felt relieved due to a unpleasant experience at another hotel in Bangkok. The staff were both helpful and accommodating at the Ambassador. The amenities such as the health centre were great! I had searched everywhere for yoga but I am happy to have learned of the yoga class with Yuuppa. It was just what I needed to end a 15 day trip in Thailand. I wish I knew of this at the beginning of my 4 day stay.The only Con was there was a large group on the 7th floor that were very noisy. In addition there was construction but I managed to sleep right through it. The hotel is within walking distance to the BTS and there is restaurants and night clubs just steps from the hotel. The rooms are nice if anything upgrades recommended to the washroom such as Ceiling, shower etc..Overall, my experience at the Ambassador Hotel Bangkok was exceptional and If I return to Bangkok it will be the first place I stay.

Great location, very close to Nana BTS station. They provide great service. Li'l bit old hotel but very clean and comfortable hotel in reasonable price. Rooms in tower wing are great!! Stuffs are very helpful too. Pool facilities should be improved, because they have lots of restrictions for using the pool, but can't provide the swim suits or etc... Swimming pool is very clean on the otherhand. One thing I didn't like about the hotel is their breakfast, I found everything tasteless. Overall we had a great experience. ❤️

We were worried once we booked the hotel after reading the various reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was extremely friendly and the room was great. The location was in a prime location being close to the BTS making it really easy to get from place to place while also being so close to Terminal 21!
