Very VERY friendly and well-trained staff. All were polite and kind and gave amazing service. Hotel is stunning!! Very very beautiful design, can be a tourist spot itself with how beautiful it is. Only 2 very trivial concerns: 1. relatively minimal lighting in room, quite dark for activities inside room at night 2. breakfast not that large variety Also, i went during construction period, so walking from room to lobby is very far and outside of hotel. despite concerns, overall very good and comfortable experience. would totally recommend.

Booked the trip via agoda.com. When i arrive, was welcomed by the staff. Easy check in, every staff in the resort always welcome and smile at you. Food was great and very reasonable. They even surprise me with a bday decoration and a cake! Overall stay was amazing! The cleanest and best service of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at the world. Service 1921 restaurant is amazing food. Staff is ridiculously attentive and nice. I wouldn’t recommend any other hotel in Chiang Mai to any of my friends or family. This hotel goes to 11.

Quiet and peaceful accommodation, suitable for relaxation. All staff provided excellent service. Breakfast had a variety of options and the dinner restaurant had a Michelin star. Highly recommend trying the delicious food.

Housekeeping strange for a 5-star hotel”
Anantara, although a 5 star hotel, is looking a bit run down in the rooms. Also, I went out at 8am and came back at 4pm and the room was still not made. Is Management not providing for enough housekeeping staff? They are nice, efficient and hardworking staff so I can only assume they are understaffed. However, the experience was saved by excellent food at Bodhi Terrace and the exceptionally welcoming attitude of all the staff.
