Regency Park, Soi 22”

This was our second stay at the Regency Park Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 22 in Bangkok. It is a surprisingly nice hotel for the rate you get using Agoda and it is in a terrific location with good shopping, restaurants, and bars nearby. The hotel manager is very accommodating in that both stays I asked for a late check out and was given the afternoon at no extra charge. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel lobby, but it is a separate enterprise so as far as I could tell, other than breakfast there is no hotel restaurant or room service. There are plenty of restaurants within a few hundred meters walk and the BTS skytrain is only a ten minute walk away. We live in another part of Thailand and my only real complaint with the Regency Park is the lack of parking since we always drive to Bangkok. They have a deal with another hotel several hundred meters down the Soi and you can park in selected spaces in their garage but it is inconvenient as you have to drive to the hotel to drop your bags and check in, then make a difficult U turn on a street with a lot of traffic to go back to where the parking is; then do the same thing all over again when leaving. For most people (who fly to Bangkok) this will not be an issue).

If you want to stay in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, I highly recommend the Regency Park Hotel on Sukhumvit soi 22. This modestly-priced hotel is centrally located near the Emporium Department Store; the Phrom Phong BTS station is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Soi 22 is a lively area with numerous ethnic restaurants, everything from Creole food to Mexican and vegetarian Italian (Govinda's), as well as many fine Thai restaurants. You won't be bored staying in this area as there are pubs, dance clubs (NOT go-go bars!) and plenty of massage shops. If you like to exercise, there is a good-sized public park nearby if you dare challenge the Bangkok heat for an outdoors workout. The hotel rooms are larger-than-average for the price (I paid 1350 baht a night in high season), with a large TV, honor bar, business desk with chair, two sitting chairs and table. The room with king-sized bed was extremely clean as well as the bathroom. There were large bath towels, bathrobes and slippers provided with the room as well as complimentary water. A security safe was available, but you had to ask for a lock at the front desk. Reception was quick, pleasant, professional, and I gathered that ALL the receptionists could speak English as I stayed in the hotel four days and spoke with most of the receptionists. Checking in and out was easy. I highly recommend this hotel for business travelers, families, couples or seniors.

The location is the best part of this hotel. It is 5-7mins walk from Phrom Phong BTS. Its is very close to Dinosaur park which is place of attraction for kids. Sukhumvit is a huge area which has different lanes. Check-inn regency park is in Sukhumvit 22. We saw many Indians staying in this hotel which gave us a comfort. Its very close to a very nice Punjabi restaurant. Hotel is very safe. Easily accessible, clean and has very helpful staff. Special thanks to Nancy and Vijay(he is an Indian Staff at reception who comes for night shift)They both guided us very well about the nearby attractions, markets, internal transfers. They arranged for taxi's whenever we needed. Also thanks to Cartoon, Oil and other staff, for their courteous and helpful behavior. Rooms are clean, bathrooms have a bathtub but doesnot have a proper shower area which most of Indian's might not be comfortable with. All rooms are with safety lockers. Make sure you keep your valuables in it. We loved the hotel..Pool is on 6th floor open to sky. You can oversee giant wheel from the pool area which makes it look more attractive. Overall very good experience. Value for money..

Very nice budget hotel, great location, fantastic staff”

I was unable to stay at my initial location, so I booked this hotel the same day. Aspira is located in soi 22, off Sukhumvit, great location, walking distance from the Phrom Phong BTS station. The hotel is nicely furnished, impeccably clean, modern rooms with many facilities: phone, safe, hair dryer, shower gel & shampoo, fridge with water, robe, ... There is a swimming pool and a gym, breakfast is served on the 3rd floor. The staff are very friendly and very efficient. I did not get my shower and the TV to work. I called reception and not 5 minutes later someone came to fix my issues. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Amazing Thailand”

I feel very much proud while writing this review about 'Check Inn Regency Park' hotel because it offered me a perfect stay in Bangkok. The location is in Sukhumvit which is the central area of the city and the hotel is nicely situated in a lane from where you can get easy conveyance. The nearby attraction is Dinosaur Planet which is 5 minutes away by walk. There is one good Indian restaurant (Indian Essence Art) just 2 minutes away by walk and Domino's is also reachable by walking. Regarding service and hospitality, I have already rated 4.5 out of 5.0. The hotel is also having roof top swimming pool which is comfortable for children with average height around 100 cm. I would definitely recommend this hotel as one of the budget hotels with extremely nice infrastructure and accessibility.

Regency Park Bangkok, great location”

The Regency Park is probably the best room for the money I've ever stayed in in Bangkok... and I stay there about once a month. The room was large with a desk for business people and a very comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great as it is less than a block from Sukhumvit road on Soi 22 surrounded by night life and restaurants as well as being a ten minute walk from Emporium (shopping) and the BTS elevated train system.

Check Inn Regency Park was a hotel for the money spent. I came for a Christmas weekend getaway from my small thai town I'm teaching english in. It was close to Phrom Phong and Asok sky train station. I never once took a taxi or motorcycle taxi. All within walking distance. The hotel was going through a renovation ( elevators and a new coat of paint) so I can't wait to come back and see all the improvements they do. Out of all the hotels I have stay at in Bangkok, they are one of the few that give you more than one room key. They give a free coupon to enjoy a refreshment. Nice soft beds, clean rooms. The pool area has specular views. Will be back at Check Inn Regency Park soon.

Still a great room for the price”

we visit bangkok often, usually by auto and have stayed in the check inn regency park (formerly regency park) hotel before, but stopped a couple of years ago because they have no car park (they have reserved space in another hotel's garage, but it's several hundred meters away and not very convenient). this time we went by public van so we chose to stay there once again. the hotel is an excellent value for the agoda price as the rooms are good sized and well equipped. the best part, and the reason we chose check inn regency park is that it is much closer to a bts station than the hotel we usually stay in (because of the parking). the phrom pong bts station is just a 5 minute walk around the corner. the room was clean, though aging a bit, service was good, and the staff friendly and smiling when we asked for items such as extra towels. they did forget to stock our mini bar the first day as i supposed we were given a room that had not been used in a few days. this was not a problem as there are 7/11s and family marts nearby. they did stock it on the 2nd day of our stay.

Value for money”

I have stayed at the Regency Park twice. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well appointed - though a bit dated. The manager kindly gave me money to replace a shirt that had been ruined by the laundry service without questioning the price I gave him. Situated on Sukhumvit Soi 22 the Regency Park is located mid-point between two BTS stations, thus a bit of a walk on a sultry BKK day.

very nice Hotel and friendly service”

while reading the information of hotels i saw that the german people are lower down with praise compared with people of other countries. but this hotel is good for praise. the pictures promise a nice hotel which i could get for a cheap price. and they do not promise too much. for me regarding the public traffic the hotel was located only by 10 minutes of walking from the crossing point asok of the sky train and the underground. it is not very easy to find among the other houses of the side street of the very busy sukhumvit road. but when (sometimes) a waiter opens the door for you then you leave the busy street with the small selling and cooking points behind you and you enter a hotel with the flair of an old “grand hotel” in good condition. in the entrance hall you find people for good service and walls covert with good wood works. and on that place where the most hotels have long floors along the rooms in this hotel you find a big light hall with floors to the rooms at both sides. at the one side of this hall at the ground floor level they built a little but nice inside garden. at the other side of this hall at the first floor there is a nice room for breakfast. breakfast was included by the low price of the hotel. we could choose between a selection of bread and toasts, corns and some food like the germans take for dinner. and a friendly cook makes fried eggs and omelets for you how you like it. the only bad point at this place: the floor covered with carpets is not good for a restaurant with self-service. at the walking area there were a lot of dirty spots. it seems that it would be very difficult getting away that spots. and another good thing: in the entrance hall you can get one of the two computers with internet access for free. maybe i stay a next time in bangkok. then i will take this hotel again every time.

excellent hotel,service and location.i have stayed in sukhumvit area between soi 18 and 22 over 40 times. the price i paid for our stay at regency park was unreal. you couldnt find anything near the value for under baht as the rea has everything to offer.would recomend this hotel even if at a higher price.

Regency Park Bangkok”

we stayed in bangkok for a couple of nights and moved down to the south part then came back and stayed at Regency Park for one night. All in all, it was a satisfied experience, concerning spending the sake of AED 138.02 on a Accor group hotel room. The locationn is in Soi 22, a quiet soi compare to the rest, but still many things were going on at night, quite a few choices of massage places and restaurants. The shower facility was really powerful and the hotel water got hot very quickly. Cleaness, average, but the hotel sleepers were a good indication what you paid for. We opened the plastic bags and pulled out the pair, the hint of smelly feet was aboselutely unbearable! They were not washed at all. ALso, the bathrobes which were hunging in the bathroom, very strong body odour (under armpit), I had a second shower after put that on. Didn't dine in the hotel, no comments can be given at all.

Best location, Staff was friendly and helpful ”

Last time I stayed in Bangkok, I stayed at their other branch Check Inn Phromphong. The next time I came back, I booked a room at an iCheck Inn, which turned out to be a completely different chain. This was very confusing for me. For this trip I did my research and found that Check Inn Regency Park (same chain as Phromphong) has completely renovated so decided to give it a go. Was definitely not disappointed. Was a very great stay as the rooms are all done up. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is unbeatable as it is located near the phromphong BTS and the Emporium Department store. Will definitely “check inn” here if I go back.

Regency Park”

The Regency is Located of Sukhumvit Soi 22 which is located in the centre of Bangkok, it is close to the Sky Train which makes most things just a short trip away. They serve an excellent Breakfast Buffet although unfortunately it seems not to be included as standard anymore, it always used to be. For a small price wireless internet access is available in your room which has a good connection speed. If you just want to relax it has a small but very nice rooftop pool. If nightlife is your thing then Nana Plaza complex is just a few minutes down the road, and there are also plenty of Bars along the same road the Hotel is located, one small one directly across the road which is good to wind a little time away while people watching. All in all a Good medium range pleasant Hotel, well worth the price at today’s rates.

we have stayed at the regency park whenever in bangkok. it is not a fancy place, but it clean,roomy enough and certainly very reasonable for the cost. the breakfast (which is optional on the room price) is very good to excellent (and well worth the small extra cost). the staff is or has always been very helpful. they do have smoking rooms (which is a negative) but for the rest of the hotel it must be done outside.

i used to stay on sukhumvit different soi but this time after seeing the reviews wanted to try out check inn regency. i was really happy staying on this property (clean-big rooms)-lovely staff-b.fast was normal (american)-good location (easy to go around bkk) - on the whole value for what you pay. i would definitely advice this hotel for families/solo travelers.

Stay at Regency Park Hotel Suthumvit bangkok”

I was appointed to attend an conference conducted at Sukhumvit area in a 5 star hotel in Bangkok. I select Agoda when I looked for a hotel located closed to the venue of the conference and offering room rate which is comfortable for me. A competitive rate is offered by this agent. When taxi dropped me in front of the hotel, I was confusing initially the taxi driver told me that we have arrived at the hotel. I hardly recognized that it is the Regency Park because it was almost nothing difference with neighboring shops. However, when I came into my room. it is such a room larger then a normal 3 star hotel room with complete range of amenities.

Check Inn Regency Park is located very conveniently close to 2 BTS stations. Phrom Pong station is walking distance just about 500 meters. The room is comfortable enough and housekeeping staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast was included in our deal and they serve a satisfactory food fare. This area could do with some improvement in the quality of food items and juices served. Though we did not use the swimming pool and gym, it is a clean environment. Pretty small but good enough if you wish to use it.

Reliably still there in Soi 22. Tucked away and comparatively quiet. Not too big and familiar enough for access to reception staff most of the time without delays. Rooms have always been comfortable and pleasant and well appointed. Very easy access to SkyTrain and the Emporium. Many good restaurants and shops in Sukhumvit. Amenities are there even if you have to ask for them. All in all, a good place to base a stay without incurring too much expense!

I have booked this hotel with you many times . It has had several names beginning with Regency park ,Check inn regency park and now aspira . Each time something disappears hand towels, porters. Coffee no tissues. Its location is excellent and the rooms large. I was there last July and now staff are different i did not see a ny Indian guests a surprise because i was told last time it was owbed by an Indoab company
