A Really Good Place to Stay”
We were just stopping for the nigh on our way further south. Araya Hotel was conveniently located on the highway away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was large with a fantastic a/c unit. The breakfast buffet was large, though primarily Asian menu items. Really, the only negative was that we both had ants in our twin beds all night. We couldn't seem to get rid of them! We didn't complain to the staff or ask to be moved as it seemed that the ants were a minor inconvenience.

Good overnight stop, nothing fancy”
Did what we needed it to do as a stop-off on the road from Khao Yai to Chiang Mai. Roadside location, easy to find, staff helpful and friendly, rooms clean and functional, has a decently equipped gym, and the breakfast was surprisingly good for the middle of Thailand.

Pro: Room is clean and comfortable. , Breakfast is buffet and has many kind of food to your selection. Con: Tv. channel has too few to choose, No english channel. Tv. picture is not clear.

Midpoint stop on way home to Chiang Rai”
Right off highway but away from main road. Quiet setting comprised of seven or 8 two-three story well maintained buildings on very large grounds (approx. 20 Rai). Our room had a large balcony with table and chairs and a large bathroom with a tub. The gym needs a good quality electronic exercise bicycle. The buffet breakfast which also had a machine for selecting your own custom coffee was quite good. For the money this was great value. I'll definitely return. Next time however I'll request a 2nd or 3rd floor room to avoid noise from people walking above.

Bester Kaffee auf unserer bisherigen Reise”
Hotel ideal für einen Zwischenstopp Übernachtung. Ohne eigenes Fahrzeug etwas verloren weil ausserhalb Stadt und nichts in der Nähe. Überrascht war ich vom Frühstück. Grosszügige Thai Auswahl aber auch für Ausländer gab es Toast, Würstchen usw. Am besten aber fand ich den Kaffe Vollautomat. Was das Herz wünschte konnte man dort auswählen und kam in ausgezeichneter Qualität aus der Maschine. Für mich allein der Grund wenn in der Gegend dort zu übernachten. Von mir daher eine Empfehlung.
