Mike is my husband's man crush. Really. Try and not fall for Mike and Breda's warmth, humor and charm. They're a delight and made us feel right at home. Breakfast is delicious and a joyful start to the day. They were happy to suggest places to explore and gave us the lay of the land when we arrived for our stay in Galway. Very grateful to previous reviewers for guiding me to them and couldn't agree more! <3

Pros and cons”
Pro: Michael is a friendly, helpful host. Breakfast is nice with eggs to order and porridge on my special request, with fresh fruit. Our "double" room had 2 beds and was very clean. Pro: if you are on the older side, be aware the rooms are 1 or 2 levels up steel steps. It is walkable to eyre square if you are young/fit only. Immediately next door is a stadium where they race dogs on Friday and play rugby on sat. This could be a plus or minus but be aware it can be very loud when opening the only window for air. But a good view.
