enjoyed my stay at Abian Kokoro Hotel. The room was a little dark but had the last economy room; our friends got a better economy room with a phone to call the front desk, balcony, good lighting, and newer appliances. the only downfall was that I would have rather spent a good 3 hours on the beach or exploring the town on a moto then dealing with 4 different agoda departments resolving payment for my hotel stay. Nonetheless, I do like that Agoda is donoating to ICRC for every 100 reviews this holiday season (2013).

V. Pleasant stay”
Very short but pleasant stay at Abian Kokoro hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and put me at ease as a first time solo traveller. Was great for one night in Sanur. The room is a good size with AC and was clean on arrival. Comfortable bed, clean sheets & blanket. Just off the Street & near the beach with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Food at the hotel was quick, fresh, tasty and inexpensive. Would definitely book a short stay there again.

had a pleasant stay at the abian kokoro. rooms are large and include everything you need or a stay near the beach. beach is 2 minutes away by bicycle or 5 minutes on foot. bicycle use is free of charge! staff is very friendly and willing to assist with anything you might need.

An amazing stay!”
It was an amazing stay in Abian Kokoro. Only 5 minutes riding from hotel to the beach. Hotel provides bicycles for free. When you stay in Abian Kokoro, never miss the sun rise at the beach. Take the bicycle, bring your camera/ smartphone, then... voila...you'll get wonderful pict there. I'll be back to this hotel someday ^^

Nice hotel with great breakfast”
when i saw the hotel room rate, i thought this is one of the budget hotel with small rooms, no window. but i was surprised to see the room is so spacious, modern and clean. the amenities are standard. but they serve nice food during breakfast. we get to choose our breakfast ranging from american style, indonesian or japanese. at that time i chose sashimi set as my breakfast and it tasted excellent. try the other japanese delicacies at sumo restaurant at ground floor. you won't regret. i will surely stay again in this hotel whenever i go to sanur bali. the only cons i saw was that they don't have elevator, but you can ask the hotel staff to carry your luggage to upper floor (and don't forget to give idr 5,000 tips). overall, it was a pleasant experience after all.

Very clean and quiet room with good facilities”
I only stayed one night at the Abian Kokoro Hotel and I thought the room was very good: clean, big enough, rain shower, A/C, TV, fast internet and comfortable bed. Only downside was that it only had a small window that looked out on the balcony of other guests but for one night is was no problem. The staff was very friendly, they helped me out when I had a bit of trouble. They also clean the room every day and bring you free bottles of water. I booked a room without breakfast so can't comment on that. I didn't explore the surroundings but I think it's pretty close to the beach and it is definitely close to different kind of restaurants.

Excellent staff who went the extra mile”
Abian Kokoro Hotel is a good budget hotel and suited our overnight stopover. The staff were excellent and went the extra mile when making our last minute booking to Nusa Lembongan the day before Nyepi day. They arranged our ticketing, rushed to ensure we had breakfast before leaving, arranged our transport and ferried all of our luggage. To top it off two gorgeous staff members raced behind us on motorbike to ensure we got to the correct ferry terminal and boarded safely.

Booked a room last minute (2 days before stay) without any reference or reviews (what to expect?) Expecatations was exceeded as check-in was a breeze and hassle free at the counter. A small minimalist+balinese modern backpack style hotel. Satisfied with the overall outlook and SERVICE most of all among the staffs. Staff was very helpful and generous. One example is the staff was so kind to help me with my moving and luggages to another hotel next door (which is claimed to be 4 star). Eventhough I paid more for a classy hotel, they were not as willing or kind enough to help me with my moving. The best part is the staff did it with sincerity, without expecting anything in return. And I will like to thank all the staff and management for making my first stay at SANUR wonderful. Noted, breakfast was also very nice.. and after staying at the next door hotel which DOES NOT OFFER BALI COFFEE AT ALL; I missed the bali coffee at Albian Korkoro .. and its stable WIFI service in the room. The only cons are : 1. May be difficult to locate or find the hotel as is located in a small street. 2. No elevators. 3. No facilities + towels. 4. Low TV satellite reception. Note : Great for backpackers, budget travellers, and moving travellers. Will definitely return again and again .. . as long as they continue to deliver their excellent service with a smile and maintain the clean rooms. Ms. Toh.

We went to the Asian Kokoro twice during our trip in Bali. It is a good cheap hotel at 30 minutes of the airport by taxi and 2 minutes walkng of the beach. Clean and staff always smiling.

Great Value”
I continue to stay here whenever I am in Sanur due to the value for money. Just a 2 minute walk to Sanur Beach and is next to many bars and restaurants. Currently building a rootop pool (opening this week) and a bar, with the restaurant being renovated also. Breakfast has improved. Hopefully when complete the prices remain cheap however i feel they will unfortunately increase. Ownership / Name has recently changed to Akarsa Kokoro. Highly recommend for cheap accomodation.

I enjoyed my stay in Abian Kokoro Hotel. The place is close to the beach, restaurants and spa's. The room is clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast nice. For this price it is difficult to get any better. This hotel has anything for your basic needs.

- close to the Sanur beach (5 minutes) by walk but also 10min to the center - all shops and restaurants around - new room really clean with all the facilities ( air conditioning, tv) - toilets a bit old but clean - good swimming pool - super kind stuff, a lot of guys ready to help u with everything - free water dispenser - the breakfast is amazing! Big choice of everything u could desire ( fresh juices, croissant, lovey omelette and pancakes, toast, fruit salad, hot drinks) the best one I’ve had in Bali

Small and cosy hotel close to the beach”
we had a nice stay at the abian kokoro. the staff was very friendly. they should however, clean the rooms better. we found the room not very clean upon check in, but after we told the staff about this it was cleaned well every day. location is excellent for the price since you are very close to the beach and restaurants.

nice hotel near the beach with good breakfast menu”
great hotel if compared with its price, good breakfast menu set, near the beach, and u can use bycicle provide by the hotel. the problem just the bathroom door can't closed well, if u left your food on the table: ants will come, luckily there's a fridge. when it's rainy the road between hotel and the main road gets flooded around ankle high. if u need motorcycle or car rent just tell the receptionist. if u go to Bali to enjoy the nightlife this hotel is not the right choice, hotel in kuta area are the better choice.

A fabulous japanese themed hotel”
I loved this hotel! Both times i have been in Sanur i have stayed here. The staff always has a smile on their faces and seems happy to help with any problems you have. The hotel has a few bikes that guests can use and the staff recommended to me the best route to use. My personal favorite thing about the hotel was the selection for breakfast. There was a choice between western and japanese food made to order. I liked having sushi for brunch and though everything was delicious.

Very comfortable and affordable”
It was very comfortable and was happy with a lot of things there. could hire bicycles for free there which was awesome. The breakfast there was either indonesian, japanese or english, was very nice. Large LCD TV at end of bed with DVD player. bathroom was nice and clean, and was good size. Had a nice balcony. Staff were quite slow to clean room. Sometimes it wasn't clean until 3pm. Sometimes staff were quite rude. Abian Kokoro is just a large building and it has no pool etc. But the room is quite nice with really great air con. Very close to the beash, only 5 mins walk, and lots of great Warung to eat, which are very cheap and tasty. I recommend the Cafe Nyomen and Tities restaurant.

Great hotel with lovely staff”
Stayed here for a few nights with a buddy of mine and were really satisfied. We were only going to stay for one night but didn't want to leave right away. Theres a Japanese restaurant in the hotel that had fantastic sushi. The staff was really helpful! I had lost one of my check cards while in Bali and they were really helpful in trying to help me find it and getting it cancelled. Nothing but great things to say about this place. If/when i return to Bali i will definitely return there.
