Clean comfortable cheap and friendly”

As I was staying for a few days I was upgraded to the apartment rooms. My room was very spacious and very clean. The staff are friendly and go the extra mile to make your stay more pleasant. This place has THE coldest beers. WiFi was excellent even in the rooms. The hotel is well located and is about 500 metres from the beach and a plethora of restaurants. It is quiet even on the first floor and there is no road noise. Breakfast was hearty and very reasonably priced. My wife was very impressed when I showed her the photos of the hotel. I would recommend it as a clean and comfortable three star hotel at an exceptional price. Mine Host Peter runs several fund raising events at the hotel each year.

Great value”

I had stayed at the Bali Senia 5 years ago and enjoyed it then. It is even better now. Both the fan and the AC worked well and quietly. The bed was comfortable and the refrigerator was helpful. The flat screen TV even had a VCD/DVD player attached. Although the room wasn't fancy, it had everything I wanted and I was quite happy with it.

Friendly staff and bar and will deliver to airport”

I enjoyed my stay at this Aussie part run hotel at edge of Sanur and away from the slick. chain mega hotels. This place has character and older characters staying here seemingly regulars mostly from Australia. In Aussie ways, there is always lots of life at the bar/ office on ground floor. No pool here but my bathroom had a huge deep bathtub and lots of hot water. Cook makes great omlette for breakfast. This hotel seems to cater to older male and female Aussies who love horse races, football, cricket, etc on the bar screens. And beer at the bar. Rooms have aircon and very generous shared porch in front of rooms. Fridge in room too. Friendly staff clean rooms every day. I would stay again. Well worth the money $20 to $25. Less if staY long time.

Nice little cheapy for the budget conscious”

Nice little relaxing hotel which is best suited for single male travellers. Good bar, cold beer with a small but nice selection on the food menu. A regular haunt for the many Aussie expats in Sanur so a great place to hang and have a beer. Peter is a great host and full of info on most things Bali. I have stayed there many times and will continue to do so.

A comfortable place to sleep”

Plus: A quiet environment and not too crowded. The hotel staff are friendly and trustworthy. Hotel has a restaurant and a large selection of restaurants around the hotel. From Sanur area could be easier to travel around Bali. Cleanliness is always maintained, including in the room. Safe, although not recommended, but not to worry if there are items left in the room. Air Conditioner and TV are available to function properly. Minus value: The entrance to the hotel is narrow, just enough for one car, so it is very difficult if there are cars passing. Car parking area is small, just enough for 3 cars, so be sure to reserve the parking lot if bringing your own car. The building is not maintained, so it does not work properly, eg: door can not be closed tightly. And the interesting thing is, the lights in bedrooms that are not bright enough, so it is not suitable to do the activities, especially reading.

Incredibly nice staff - great food”

Loved this place - it's a super friendly Aussie themed outpost in the middle of Sanur. Staff was great, made me feel like family. A lot of the folks staying here are regulars, and if they're representative of Australia as a whole, that's sure a friendly country full of good people. The food was great. If you're a sports fan they have two big screen t.v.'s and satellite to watch whatever is playing at the moment.

Relaxing stay, kind of an Aussie expat hangout, good bar and restaurant, staff very helpful arraigning tours/activities, all at a good price. Wifi quality a bit spotty. Rooms show little bit of age, but totally acceptable for these reasonable prices.

Have stayed many times over past 3 years. Good location. Good room. Cable Tv. Spacious. Walking distance to Beach. Bars, entertainment. Good value for price. Cannot complain. Good for Solo Travellers.

Great price for what you get”

Good central location, but I recommend at least a bicycle rental to get around (about $2.50/day). This place is old, not so well maintained, but perfect for a place to sleep and store your things, while you explore Bali. You can't beat the price for a decent sized room.

Cheap and Cheerful Hotel”

Stayed there many times, an older hotel that is a bit of a walk to town. Staff are great and meals are delicious, both local and western food served. Great place to down a cold beer and watch Rugby League or AFL. Easy to strike up a conversation with the many expats that drink and watch sport there and staff always up for a chat. If you are looking at a budget hotel then this fits the bill.

Entertainmnt Location but still quiet, Stayed 4 nights slept well. Large room and verandah, very relaxing. Aircon fridge hot shower, cannot complain for that price. I have stayed once before 3 years ago, Would stay again. Cheers.

Great budget hotel”

The hotel rooms and furniture are fairly worn, but functional enough. The rooms are a decent size for your belongings. This is a great place for a budget traveller. However, they need to update their listing...they DO NOT rent bicycles, and honestly, their wireless/WiFi was non-existent, or always down. They told me they are planning to upgrade the modem, but I essentially had no signal for most of my stay. If you are looking to not spend too much for accommodations, and still get a decent room, I recommend this hotel.

What you pay for is what you get. ”

The hotel staff are very good. If you want a good night sleep it is not the place to be. The guests make a lot of noise and drink to all the hours of the morning with music being played that loud the whole of Bail would hear it. the walls of the hotel are very thin and you can hear everything/

Good enough but nothing special”

Good staff, decent room size but rooms/linens/bathrooms could use some sprucing up. Caters to an older crowd, who all seemed to enjoy themselves at the hotel sports bar, main complaint would be slight smell in bathroom/not the freshest linens/towels.

Good value for money”

This hotel was good for the money we paid - it was about a 15 minute walk to the beach and there were restaurants nearby. Fairly quiet place and not all that much to do but a good hotel for the area.

the room is good. but the location is bad. you have to walk 15 mins to the beach. and some cab drivers cannot find the hotel.
