Best Hotel in Manila for less than P2,000!”
I stayed at Casa Bocobo when I went to Manila for medical examination at St. Luke's Extension Clinic. With the help of the map I studied before the trip, I was able to give directions to the taxi driver (and avoided appearing ignorant about Manila which most taxi drivers would take advantage of) and easily got there. Check-in was hassle-free. The hotel has no elevator but male staff are on hand to assist...I didn't need much assistance anyway as I was carrying just one backpack. I was given a room at the farthest end of the second floor where I can look out my window right down to TM Kalaw. That was a fun thing to do every morning when I wake up. I would pull up the blinds and watch all the vehicles carrying students and people going to work. At night, there was much less traffic so noise was not a problem for me. About the room, it was very clean and spacious with a good-sized flat screen tv. The bed was very comfortable with clean a sheet and a comforter. Aircon didn't make a lot of noise. The cabinet was spacious with about five hangers. There was also a table and a couple chairs aside from the bedside table. It was so much more than I expected. I had to extend my stay for a few more days and ended up staying for a total of 8 days and in that span of time was able to try out 4 different rooms. I was given a different room everytime I extended my stay since the room I was in always had someone else checking in the next day. It was a bit of a hassle but not the hotel's fault since my stay was indefinite. I tried the double deluxe room with the queen bed, the room with the twin beds, the petite room, and the loft (my favorite! but it's usually for about P4,500 and was given to me only because they had nothing else available and maybe because i'm a loyal customer). All the rooms I tried are very much worth the money. I have tried Manila Pavilion and Gran Prix Manila but they can't beat Casa Bocobo. I am definitely staying there again!

Casa Family ”
I had a pleasant stay at Casa Bocobo of Manila, and will be staying with them again when I return to Manila. The rooms are well kept, the bed and the pillows are soft, no issues with the hot water, and it is not located on a busy street. I stayed here 3 days to recover from a hectic pre vacation week of having the flu and helping my brother and friends evacuate their homes and animals in the Dec’17 LA fires, and of course my sleepless flight from LAX to Manila. The staff we very friendly and helpful, not only to the guest, but to each other as well. This is truly a well organised family hotel where smiles and kindness are aplenty. A special thank you to Sonny, Mickey, John, Esa and the always smiling and happy breakfast crew. The breakfast is large and as delicious as a hotel breakfast can be, definitely worth it. The Casa Bocobo is also located in a safe area and close to historical Manila. It is only a 3-4 minute walk to Robinson Mall, a very nice Mall

clean hotel, well run, value for money”
we stayed at casa bocobo for 4 nights. it's a well run hotel with good comfortable rooms, modern amenities, free wifi, free breakfast, close to the airport and manila's main attractions. the rooms are clean and modern, beds are comfortable and the bathroom/toilet/shower are quite nice. there's a restaurant downstairs that serve great food although might be a bit pricey but a great option nonetheless. nearby are restaurants, bars and entertainment so you needn't go far. the only negative about this place is where it is - although ermita is a great area for entertainment, it's also full of all sorts of shady characters. we didn't encounter any major problems but just be careful. don't walk alone at night. i'd stay at casa bocobo again - it's such great value!

Good base for a stay in Manila ”
Casa Bocobo is situated in walking distance of LRT station United Nations. Banks, ATM, money changers (check some rates first as they vary) and restaurants and markets are close. To Rizal Park and Intramuros it's a ten minute's walk, as well as to the nightlife bars of Ermita - just take care who you talk to, there are some suspicious individuals around the area. Hotel rooms are rather small but clean and quiet, cable TV and WiFi available. Hotel staff are all super-friendly and helpful. For breakfast it's your choice: tea/coffee/juice and rather Continental style with pancake, toasted bread fried/boiled egg and omelette or the Philippine way with tasty sausages and garlic rice. Will go there again when in Manila!

Very Clean & Polite Attentive Service”
I have stayed at Casa Bocobo three times now, and will definitely stay there again. It is the best value hotel in it's class in Manila (Ermita), "hands down", in my opinion. Because it is new, everything works in the room. And the hotel service staff do an excellent job in keeping everything neat and tidy in the rooms, hallways and lobby areas. Front door staff, security staff and front desk staff are all excellent and very helpful. Thanks should go to the staff for doing such a good job in making my stay so pleasant!

Hidden Gem”
This is a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for a very clean and conveniently located hotel. This is not a 5-Star Hotel, but it is certainly 5-Star service! I used to stay at the casino hotel 1 block over for 4-5 times the price and what I got in return was terrible service, dirty rooms, and Asian/European foreigners flaunting their hookers around. Hotel staff did more chit-chatting with each other as they gawked at the female hotel guests than any kind of security or service work. Imagine being on the 1lth floor and the elevator did not work the entire afternoon (happened on 2 separate visits to that hotel)!! I highly recommend Casa Bocobo Hotel to anyone who can be satisfied with simplicity delivered with excellence.

Simple and clean”
The Casa Bocobo Hotel is a clean and simple hotel in the middle of Ermita. It is close to many attractions and transportation. The area is nothing fancy, even poor, but all the places you would want to see are within walking distance, and are very nice. There are a few hotels in the area, so the locals are used to foreigners walking around. Our room for our first two nights was fabulous, and even had a nice big bathtub/shower. But, we ended up having to stay an extra night, and were moved to a more simple room that was a bit more spartan and needed some repair. They were expanding and remodeling, so that issue may be resolved soon. But essentially, the hotel was very nice.

Superb Service!”
I booked in this hotel twice already. It is very near SLEC where I had my medical exam. The rooms were tidy and clean as well as the towels and the beddings. The food at Kantina Sabel is so yummy. I love the lutong bahay they serve at lunch. My favorite part of my stay was the friendly atmosphere the staff provided. All the staff were very warm, friendly and approachable. They never failed to greet me with a smile. One thing that bothered me though was the noisy aircon. I am very sensitive to sounds so it was bothersome. This can be improved, I think, moving forward. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Casa Bocobo Hotel and will definitely return soon. Highly recommended!

Perfectly located for US Embassy business”
the casa bocobo hotel is located across the street from the hospital where all medical exams are scheduled for us visas, which makes it very handy for early morning arrival, as the exams are given on a 1st come, 1st served basis. it is in walking distance to the us embassy, as well as the manila ocean park with it's "must see" aquarium. the casa cafe serves very good meals with a menu with lots of variety. the free breakfast buffet is excellant.

Exceptional”
Wonderful inexpensive hotel in the Manila area. At first, I was quite wary of the condition of the place because of the price I paid but I was pleasantly surprised how nice this place is in the heart of old Manila. I stayed overnight after a show I attended and this was a relaxing place. They upgraded my room and included breakfast to it which was really amazing. Thanks Casa Bocobo! Wonderful stay indeed!

An oasis in Old Manila”
We ended up patronizing hotel for about 2 weeks. My wife and her sister stayed while my wife went to St Lukes for physical exam prior to visa interview. I appreciate the fact that the hotel is near the medical center and near the embassy. It is quite safe with on site security. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My wife and her sister stayed in a petite room and found it to be quite adequate. It provided safe haven during a nasty typhoon, and kept them safe and dry. When I arrived a week later, I found a petite a a bit on the small side for me and made arrangements to move to a Superior room with a queen size bed, sleeper couch, refrigerator, in room safe, dvd, the works. It was very, very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Bocobo. Since our business was with the US Embassy, it was very, very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to all who are working on their US Visa. I just can't say enough good things about this hotel and our stay. Just wish you could get coffee prior to 6 am as I am an early riser. Also, had some issues with the wireless due to the previous typhoon.

Excellent”
The hotel is a perfect place to stay. It is near Manila Ocean Park and Star City where we intended to visit. It is also a couple of minutes walk to the train station. The breakfast was great. The staff were approachable. The room is spacious. My comment is just the linens in our bedroom wherein there were a lot of bites on my legs I discovered in the morning of the next day so you just need a little bit of improvement. Just that thing lang naman. Thanks Casa Bocobo Hotel! :)

my wife, accompanied by her 18 year old stayed here during here medical exam at st. luke's. she said it was very clean, the staff was nice and the rooms were well equipped. the main reason i booked here is the location to st. luke's and reading other reviews about it being a safe hotel, it was all those and more. i would recommend staying at casa bocobo hotel and we would do so again.

Hotel of Convenience & Performance”
Casa Bocobo Hotel is an ideal place for U.S. visa applicants. This review is written by the sister of a visa applicant who has stayed in this hotel twice, first with his family who was accomodated at a very short notice and his recent second stay alone. The courtesy breakfast is another convenience for travelers. The hotel staff are very polite , helpful and informative. Casa Bocobo is like a home away from home before going abroad!

What we get for what we just paid was really un-expected, as the room was huge/clean & smells good..location was also great! After our Manila Ocean park visit we reached the hotel in just 15 minutes! Breakfast was just fair & staff were accommodating.Thumbs up, Casa Bocobo Hotel family :)

Excellent”
This is the second time I stayed at Casa Bocobo. This time it was for my interview at the US embassy. It was a 10minute walk. I like how it is close to a lot of areas including a mall, hospital, and other tourist spots. Facilities are average however, Air condition was too loud. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Our stay is still amazing. Will book casa bocobo next time I fly to manila. :)

Clean, comfortable and affordable”
On our recent 4 month trip, Manila was our hub and we stayed in hotels there on 4 different occasions. Each time we were there, we tried a different hotel, trying to find something that was decent, well-located and affordable. Casa Bocobo gets our vote and would be our hotel of choice every time. They have a great little restaurant and the included breakfast is great.

Great location and budget price”
Room is small but enough. It's clean but noisy at daytime. If you want to sleep, I suggest you should wear earplugs. Now that it's a budget hotel, don't expect delicious breakfast. Casa Bocobo Hotel is located near Pavilion casino, and the other restaurant. As a gambler or budget bagpacker, I think it's the best choise than Manila Pavilion Hotel because of the cheaper rate. The doorman and front desk are friendly. They always smile and try their best to serve you. It's the best experience living in Manila.

Place like no other”
During our 5 days and 4 nights stay at Casa Bocobo. Me and my sisters had a blast. It is a home away from home. The hotel staff really made sure that they cater to our needs. The food was great. It has easy access to transportation. LRT is just a few blocks away. The contemporary design of the hotel made me feel at home. :) I will surely go back to Casa Bocobo.
