Before making a reservation, I read all the other reviews to include the complainer from Australia. Regardless, I originally booked a room for 5 days, and due to my great satisfaction, have stayed an additional 5 days. Someone said it was in a "shady area". Not so, and actually, the garage type rooms provide the guest with a much greater level of security than being in a big 3 or 4 star hotel where there isn't anyone who can see your room door 24/7. Greater security is also provided with the first door with card entry (and deadbolt) into a small entry room, and then a 2nd keyhole door (another deadbolt) into the main room. Mariposa has their own kitchen with a good menu. I enjoyed their Chicken Teriyaki so much that I ordered it 3 or 4 times during my stay. Also, there are several sari-sari stores within 50m to fulfill simple needs. The staff... Great, friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to converse with. The room.... Clean and well provided. Nice bathroom with hot water shower. As for me, I'm an American living in a different part of the Philippines, but have traveled extensively worldwide. Totally satisfied and would stay here again.

Our stay is incredibly awesome! Well, except for some flaws that I've observed. 1. Floor is kinda sticky and rough?? Its best to always wear slippers though. 2. Mattress make bumps at the middle if you exerts force - - u know. Bearable enough. 3. Funniest thing happened is when we're about to get out of the room and check out, the door won't open. Room service immediately assisted us though. Room has a great design, AC level, a vanity mirror and even a bathtub! Will book here again. Hoping the no. 3 on the list won't happen again.

Staff were friendly but from the web site, we did not realize that the area is somewhat on the "shady" side. There were a lot of inns in the area for "quick stays". Had we known that the hotel would be in the said area, we probably will now stay there.

Kids enjoyed the bathtub! The room was spacious! Mega happiness without spending much.

I am not so satisfied with the service. My booking is twin bed and early check in because i am arriving early morning about 2am and wanted to sleep for a while before going to last final viewing and interment of our beloved family. The receptionist told me they dont have internet access to view my booking and i showed to her my confirmed booking to Agoda and payment. I requested to check in early and plan to leave 10am. Actually, this hotel is per hour basis i have learned this when i was in the said hotel. The receptionist provided me a deluxe 0ne bed only instead of twin bed. And there is different price in their counter. I told her it is a sales booking i have got in agoda. Since i paid P1, 300+ they provide me deluxe and not P1300+ room that they offer for 12hrs. Twin bed. Aside from that, it looks the cover is not new clean sheet and the ceiling of the bed there is mirror and lower side of the bed and no hair dresser mirror. All mirrors are in the ceiling of the bed.

this so-called 2 star hotel which had attractive pics online. I arrived at 4pm to find that the place was a dive in a part of town surrounded by other dives where the rooms were garages being rented. Then the room wasn't even ready, it reeked of cig smoke when I'd booked for non-smoking and the shower room was dirty with leaking water flowing over the floor. I would have expected this level of dirtiness but to be charged a premium is disgusting especially when I can find clean, neat places with friendly people! Avoid this and be aware that Agoda doesn't actually give you 'cheap deals', they actually jack up the price by 30% to get their cut. Just book through the individual hotel's website so you don't get stiffed.

It is clean but it still smells of smoke despite its description "non-smoking". Lacking toiletries, there is a bottle of liquid soap and sponge but nothing else. There are rubber slippers. The hair dryer has to be requested from the front desk, when it arrived it does not turn on/off unless plugged/unplugged. The bed is comfortable enough. TV only has free-to-air channels and no cable or netflix. Weak WIFI, its signal barely reaches our room which is already near the front desk. You can hear the steel roll-ups of the parking every now and then and in the middle of the night..very disturbing.. I would still recommend as budget hotel.

When I went there, immediately I thought it's not a hotel but a drive inn motel. Shower is broken they didnt even check the unit before letting other guests use it. Sheets smell like cigarette and staff are not even friendly. I dont recommend this MOTEL.
