Sheraton Manila Bay is one of the best hotel I’ve checked in. ”
Sheraton Manila Bay is one of the best hotel in Manila. Location is great where you can see and experience the real everyday life of the city. Security is great . You feel secured once you step in to the hotel. Professional security staff always present keeping an eye to all. Check in is fast and easy. Pool staff are superb. Pacific Lounge is a place where you can enjoy most. Captains and the rest of the staff are kind, accommodating with a genuine smile making sure of the comfort of all guests. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Travelers should request rooms facing the Manila bay. You will be treated with the famous Manila bay sunset.

Nice luxury hotel in the middle of Malate”
After staying in a very rough provincial hotel (in Cagayan de Oro) for a few days, I took a day to recover at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Malate Manila. Most travellors don't like Malate (it can be very seedy, particularly near the hotel) but I like it, on the magnificient Manila Bay as it is and near the charming Remedios Circle (with bars and restaurants). I took an executive room, as the superior room I stayed in last time was not that great. The Executive room is not that large but quite luxurious with a lovely bathroom. The staff is very professional, breakfast nice, and the pool area lovely. If traffic weren't so bad its also a not that far from the airpot - my tip here is to go early morning or lunch time/early afternoon if possible to avoid the worst of Manila traffic jams.

Great hotel but sad about new brand. ”
I’ve stayed at the Pan Pacific Manila many times over a good number of years and always loved the place. I was dismayed, however, to find out that it has recently become a Sheraton and has been rebranded as such. Aside from the branding, however, little has changed yet, although the prices seem to have gone up. Thankfully most of the great staff have been kept on - Sheraton would have been mad to get rid of them. The building remains the same, of course - for the time being, at least, although there are rumours of big changes to come. For now, though, I can still enjoy it almost as it used to be. I love a cold beer on the sunset terrace, watching the colours fade over Manila Bay.

Pan Pacific--Manila Nights”
I was in Bataan and dropped into Manila, i didnt have a Hotel reservation so i went to the nearset internet cafe and booked a stay at Pan Pacific Manila Hotel. I stayed there once before in the past and decided I'd try it again. Well, i'm glad i did, the experiece was a good if not better than the first time. The beauty of the interior and exterior really drives home the comfort and peacefulness of a safe, relaxing environment inside the heart of a major metropolis city of the World. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated, and the immenties are user friendly. Try to get a room facing Manila bay, the sunsets are magnificient. The butler service is wonderful, with one touch of the phone, you have a well educated and mannered butler at your disposal. The breakfast on the 21st floor is amazing, overlooking the entire city of Manila as well as the bay. The entire staff was more than willing to make my stay at their place of work, feel like a place of luxury. I enjoyed every min of my stay. Oh, BTW, the huge bath tubs are relaxing, especially when a guy my size can fit in comfortably (6' 205 lbs) and have water flow over my entire body. I reccomend this stay to anyone that enjoys the good life!!!

Good quality hotel with up to standard service”
hotel is not too far from airport, and is located centrally in malate area. it has up to 5 star level interior and luxury. rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. it's good that hotel provides free in room internet and wifi. the 360 degree top floor restaurant has very good view of the city and manila bay. a great place to have breakfast and meal. there are a few smaller snake house and coffee place adjacent to the ground floor lobby, offering convenient f&b at affordable prices. from there, one can access to a small casino on level 2.

Could be 5-star, except for...”
This gets a 4-star rating, and could easily achieve 5-stars with a few improvements. PLUS: The "Executive Room" (half price on Agoda) was a good value for Manila , and similar to rooms in higher-end hotels in Bangkok, etc. Great soaking tub (with TV), work desk, in room Wi-Fi, ironing board, hair dryer, etc. The hotel has a spacious and appealing lobby, small open-air pool and jacuzzi, rooftop lounge, fitness equipment and more. The hotel refers to "Butler Service," but it is not a typical assistant assigned specifically to your room or floor. Instead, it appears that they call most of their service staff "butlers," and they are trained to handle the needs of any guest. No matter what they are called, the staff was all pleasant, professional and attentive. Location: The Malate neighborhood is not easy to love. It is noisy, crowded and dirty. Immediately leaving the hotel you will likely be offered adult services and supplies. On the other hand, the hotel is one of the best locations for sight-seeing, as it is walking distance to the Bay, Intramuros, a shopping mall and many restaurants and nightclubs. MINUS: The service was inconsistent. Forgotten room cleaning, TV needed repair, key card programming error, etc. But with a little training, this could be remedied easily. I'd prefer CNN news instead of the unpopular Fox News channel for the featured USA network. COMPLAINT: This hotel implements "show-curity" (intrusive but ineffective security) - forcing paid guests to go though bomb-sniffing dogs, metal detectors and a groping - just to get inside the lobby! But like other Manila security, it is mostly for show. The dog is only there once in awhile; the guards mostly ignore the metal detector beeps; and they don't frisk most parts of your body. It is a useless and insulting practice that truly serves no purpose, so many higher-end hotels are replacing it with well-trained armed security guards that do not interfere unless there's troubl

Excellent Stay”
I stayed here for a week during my first visit to the Philippines. From the security guards, the front desk and even the restaurant employees, everyone was cheerful and always greeted you by your name. The breakfast buffet at the pacific lounge was very tasty and many options to choose from. I also had lunch and dinner there a couple days and I couldn't complain about that either. The view of Manila Bay from there as well as my room was priceless. This hotel is also so nice the Mayor and Miss Manila came for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The checkout was just as easy and I took the hotel taxi to the airport. They front desk also watched my bags while I took some last minute photos. As you can tell I enjoyed my stay here at Pan Pacific and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling here.

Good location, pleasant rooms”
we got a good deal with agoda on this "5-star" hotel and enjoyed our stay. the room was equipped with all that you would expect - very comfortable bed, business desk, free wifi, large plasma tv, mini-bar, etc. lovely bathroom with nice fittings. room also had a great view of manila and the bay. enjoyed the extra bonuses of hand-made chocolates delivered to the room at night, well-priced room service and a 'personal concierge'. plenty of good restaurants in the area, and small range of cafes next to the hotel lobby. very good security in the hotel too....

5 star all the way”
Wat can i say. We enjoyed our stay at Pan Pacific. As soon as we entered the lobby we knew it was going to be an excellent hotel. The room we stayed was the Pacific King Suite. A bit pricey but hey its worth the experience. We could see most of the Ermita/Malate area and also a view of Manila Bay. Close to shopping centres and restuarants.

Nicest staff ever!”
In all of the hotels I've been to in Metro Manila and perhaps the whole Philippines, Pan Pacific has the nicest staff. Everyone, and I mean all of the staff, was very polite. There was always someone to open the door for me almost every single time I enter or leave the lobby. They only missed one and that's very forgivable. In terms of the courtesy of opening doors, I'd score them the highest - this matters a lot to me. Also, almost every staff member we pass by the hotel would greet us. One thing I really appreciated was the personal thank you note of the housekeeping staff or the "butler." I think it was really thoughtful so they should keep it up. The amenities in the room and in the bathroom were also almost complete (I wish they had a shave though). I love the separate bathtub - one of the reasons why I chose this hotel during this trip. It was also not too far from the venue where I watched a concert and less expensive than the other 5-star hotels in the area. The hotel taxi/transport service was a nice touch but it was more than three times the usual cost if you'd take a regular taxi. The neighborhood didn't feel that pleasant. I seldom go to Malate/Ermita. The area always seemed a little dangerous to me. I know there are other luxury hotels around but security in the area is not that tight compared in Makati. Just when I thought I was about to end my trip without any incident, I had a little brush with danger. On my second night, I hailed a taxi to take me to the concert venue. I got to the taxi and the driver started talking nonsense so I realized he was under the influence. I really thought I was going to be robbed especially when we passed by a dark street. Moral of the story is be careful when calling taxis on your own. I don't blame the hotel for that. I'm just sharing my story to warn others. I'm still giving a perfect score for the hotel.

An Oasis in the City”
The Pan Pacific is ideally situated and despite the traffic snarls that can occur in Manila it is a good driove along Roxas Boulevard from the airport. The Butlers are very welcoming and courteous. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have experienced enhanced of course by the ambience of the top floor restaurant and its panoramic views of Manila Bay etc. The rooms are spacious and generous with facilities and quiet. The accessibilityb of the hotel to tourist attractions, shopping and exercise areas is a plus. Streety people outside the hotel can be a nuisance the moment one steps out the door.

Slice of Heaven in Hell”
This is my 5th time staying at Pan Pacific, although the price is a little on the high side, it's well worth the money spent. I've tried other hotels in the area and found i still end up at the Pan Pacific. Location, spacious rooms, wonderful service from every member makes me come back again and again. The buffet breakfast on the 21st floor is awesome, breath taking, the sights of Manila bay at 0630 is very refreshing. I will definately being staying there again.

Great service and newly renovated rooms”
The superior rooms of this hotel have recently been renovated and my room, a no smoking with separate shower and bath on the 12th floor was excellent. Free in room wifi but as I found to my cost when my laptop expired, quite expensive to go online in their business centre. The gym on 7th floor is fairly basic with two treadmills. Another facility is available on the 6th floor which is shared with a local fitness club. Very crowded when I ventured in on a Tuesday evening. The small pool, also on 6th floor is somewhat small but adequate to cool off in. Restaurant on the top floor, where breakfast is served, offers great views over city and Manila bay.

Absolutely the BEST!”
I can't say enough about this hotel. I stayed in many hotels in Mindanao and the Manila area. This one makes you feel at "home" and after a day or two they can read your mind and deliver it to you before you even think about it. You always feel genuinely welcome whether you are in the lobby, room, poolside or dining. The complimentary breakfast is everything you could desire! I am far from "Rich"(Retired police) and on my budget I felt like a king staying at a friendly kings "Home away from Home" being served by the nicest people in Manila. If you want to eat cheap, other than the awesome breakfast, go get some "take-out" and eat it in your room. If you need a taxi have the hotel staff get you a safe one that uses a meter or use the hotels transportation. Worry free accommodations are difficult to find in Manila, if you don't know your way around. I was in the Philippines for a month and stayed at this place my last week and it was well worth it "peace of mind" and I thought I could never really relax until I stayed at the Pan Pacific! Oh, the free Wi-Fi is the fastest in town! FaceTime and Skype works great to keep in touch with family and friends back home. Anywhere else is hit and miss all day and night and is too slow when it is working. Absolutely no worries here, about anything! You won't regret it!

PERFECT”
This is my I don't know I lost count stay in the hotel. This is because when I want to stay in Manila no other hotel comes close to the quality of service provided by the staff or by the comfort of the rooms at their disposal. Stunning views of the Manila bay and city skyline. Perfect for a relaxing stay or a night out partying. This will forever be my choice whenever I am in Manila. For they have not let me down.

Great Hotel - Love it.”
I really enjoy this hotel when staying in Manila Bay Area. Very nice rooms (nice size) and excellent staff. Usually, they give Free Upgrade on the Room as well (I like that!!). For the price, it's a good hotel to stay at. One of the nicest pools I've used as well, especially if you have children.

Our Favorite Hotel in Manila”
we came to pan pacific manila in malate after some sleepless nights in makati, the financial district. we were immediately impressed with the pan pacific when we walked into the lobby; and were equally impressed with our rooms. we decided to extend our stay at least two more nights. having the robinson's mall only a few minutes walk from the hotel is a big plus; food, groceries, banking and more minutes from your front door.

Another memorable stay at the Pan Pacific Manila”
This would be our third time staying at this hotel during the 3 times we have visited Manila for a vacation. We choose this area because it is close to many landmarks, airport, restaurants, a great mall, and of course, the nightlife. Although the main reason staying at Pan Pac Manila is the understated elegance of the hotel, the spacious rooms (stayed in the Pacific Room, this time), and most importantly, is the exemplary level of Filipino service provided by the hotel Staff, from the Security at the entrance, Front Desk (they all were present at the porte cochere upon my departure), Pacific Lounge and the ever present friendly Butlers. Pan Pac Manila again, surpassed my expectation, never disappoint, and we will return over, and over for a memorable stay. By the way, the most comfortable night sleep I have ever had, way more comfortable than Westin's Heavenly bed. A perfect way to end our vacation in the Philippines.

great hotel at a great location”
Had a nice experience there, the main draw of this hotel is the good location, comfortable and clean room and the great breakfast menu. You have your breakfast on the 21st floor overlooking manila bay, good breakfast with equally good view. The hotel had some drawbacks though, the swimming pool is small and there is no lounge music at nite, such a pity when the Philippines are noted for the quality of their entertainers.

Great stay”
This is one of Manila's best hotels for business or leisure travel. I had a room overlooking Manila Bay (at a side angle), large room, very clean, great bathroom. The hotel also has a lovely pool area. Its top floor dining room is fantastic. The hotel is on Adriatico Street and you will get bothered by vendors as you walk along the street, but if you ignore them they won't persist.
