Excellent Hotel with Excellent Staff”

Stayed at Nandha Hotel in mid September 2016. Staff were great all round and accommodating and very very helpful. Room is new and very clean and bathroom was nice! airconditioning was strong and water pressure & temperature was good. Comfy and cozy and enjoyed my stay at Nandha Hotel. And may I mention the good food was reasonably priced at the Passion Cafe. Nearest BTS station (Phrom Phong) was an easy 5 to 10 minute walk. Starbucks, 7-11 and Family Mart down the street and a couple of good (clean) massage places along Soi Sukhumvit 33 as well. Location of the hotel is quiet and peaceful at night and taxi drivers know the street very well (although not the hotel) just tell them the street name and stop when you see the sign. My only gripe is traffic during peak hours along the main road and getting to the main road is madness due to the traffic jams. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok and my best wishes to the Nandha Hotel team! Thank you for being hospitable! Great little hotel and high in my recommendations.

Lovely little hotel”

Nandha hotel is located in a quiet side street of Sukhumvit Soi 33. The closest Sky Train station Phrom Phong is in walking distance. Our Vintage Deluxe room was tastefully decorated and offered all the amenities you can expect in this price range. The owner and here staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable at this hotel and will gladly stay there again.

Peaceful comfortable convenient location”

We love our room. It;s very spacious and clean. The only sound I heard was the bird Koel's loud noise in the morning which is our wake up call, other than that the hotel is very quiet. The bed is just right and comfortable. It's a short walk to Phrom Phong station in the morning when we have all the energy and a long walk at night when we go back tired. It's still better than riding the taxi or tuk-tuk from the MRT/BTS. We recommend using the MRT/BTS in Bangkok so this is a value for money location compared to the more pricey hotels near the stations. Thank you for a wonderful stay Nandha. We enjoyed Bangkok!

My new go to hotel in Bangkok”

This was my second stay at Nandha Hotel and I see no reason to ever stay anywhere else. The quirky decor is modern and tasteful. The service is excellent (they helped me order McDonald's delivery - don't judge). The rooms are clean and well furnished and the beds are super comfy. I like the soi and it's close to BTS. My favorite part: the cafe serves an excellent breakfast...all day. You can't get better for your money than this place.

Fantastic boutique hotel”

We stayed here on a work trip. For our business the location was super convenient to everywhere we had to go though its a little further up Soi 33 and about a 5-7 mintue walk to the BTS station. Being 1/4 way up Soi 33 and just a step back from the road offered a very welcoming silence you don't often get around that area of Bangkok. The hotel itself is stylish, clean and charming. Large, well decorated rooms with a good layout, cute furnishings, and all the amentities you need. The rooms are bright, the bed is comfortable, and the wifi was possibly the most reliable I have had in Bangkok. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and they kept the hotel looking clean, organized and timeless. There are only a few things I could have asked for.. We didn't eat at the restaurant because a) it doesn't open until 8:30 and we were already gone by then and b) it only offers western fare and I prefer asian soup for breakfast, while my manger rarely eats eggs. The street food is limited in the morning and every dish basically includes animal innards and since no-one speaks anything other than Thai, you can't easily ask for it to be removed. Also, it would have been nice to have one outlet that kept power when the key card si removed from your door so you could charge a secondary device while out. Very small things for an otherwise flawless stay. I would definitely stay here again without a thought if I need to be in this area of Bangkok and I would recommend the hotel to anyone for business or travelling. Pity there was no pool.

Nice hotel”

My third time staying at hotel, plan on staying there next year. Great price no problems checking in, book ahead, I wanted to stay two weeks, but they only had a room for one week. I arrived five hours early and they put my bags in storage while I went shopping. Have the person at the counter give you the address in Thai or just tell taxi 33 Sukhumvit then show driver the location - hard to find on side street. from the airport by taxi. to most anywhere in Bangkok. to most places on BTS

Best budget hotel in and around Sukhumvit”

I travel to Bangkok every month and have stayed at a lot of differrent budget hotels. At Home Place Hotel is the best budget hotel I have stayed at in 5 years. The rooms are large as is the bed as well as being clean and tidy with good wifi. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are some good restaurants and sports bars within easy walking distance and some good street vendor food available. At Home Place Hotel is now my preferred hotel when staying in Bangkok. The map location is misleading however. When entering soi 5 from Sukhumvit 33 the Hotel is just 40 meters on your RHS.

Very good value for the price”

This hotel is very clean, large rooms, and powerful A/C. No frills place though, breakfast good but a little high in price. Fairly close to BTS (that is important in BKK because distances are very deceptive regarding maps and reality) Sukhumvit 33 is full of massage parlors however. Not a big deal, but after a week of staying there the cat calls get kind of old. I recommend the hotel if you can overlook that aspect. Fantastic staff as well, some have limited English so try to plan your day trips yourself

Cool stay!”

I appreciated my stay at Nandha a lot. Fancy style, nice and clean rooms, unique decoration. Very nice and helpful staff! I would like to visit again and did already recommend to my friends. Convinient location close to Sky train station, yet I had a good and calm sleep, with a view into the green, too. Also Passion Cafe offers good Coffee and food, a nice place to start exploring the city.

Extremely satisfied with the room, the cleanliness, staff, location and price, everything! It's close to the Phrom Phong BTS station. It's not located at a super crowded area which is nice. Plus it's close to a double storey convenient store (Family Mart) which has a cafe inside, which we really enjoyed going there for breakfast every morning. The toilet is pretty, the room is pretty. Room size is also much larger than expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is definitely one of the best hotel I've stayed in and would strongly recommend anyone to stay in this hotel if they're visiting Bangkok.

I have stayed at this hotel no less than 10 times in the last 4 years. I have never had a bad stay here and always have a nice quiet well maintained room. On this occasion I stayed in the 2 story suit. This room was very large with the bed and bath being in an upstairs loft. This is a very basic hotel and is still a great deal for the price. They have recently installed internet in the rooms so that is a plus. Now with an Agoda booking it is even cheaper!! I usually don't even make a reservation here and they always have a room. The staff knows me now and are always very friendly. A great place for walking to the nightlife as well.

Quaint and quiet”

One of my favorites”

I've stayed here a few times now. Rooms are vintage with a modern feel, beds super comfy, clean nice warm showers, helpful friendly staff, and the best american breakfast I've had in bangkok. It's nestled away in a queit corner of soi 33, plenty of food options nearby, and close enough to walk to phrom phong station and emquartier, if you wanna go for a nice night out. Highly reccomend this hotel with a perfect price point.

dissapointing”

This is my second time staying at the Nandha Hotel. I returned because I really enjoyed my first stay and it is walking distance to BTS. The first time I stayed in a basic room, so this time I decided to upgrade my room to a Superior, a significant cost difference. However, upon arrival I was given a room much smaller than my original and much cheaper room. This room was dusty, the bathroom was not cleaned well (mold in the shower and on shower curtain, bath matt used) and there was no complementary drinking water. When I asked if this was a superior room, I was shown a larger room, but told it wasn't as nice and had a bad view and discouraged from changing. I was also told that Agoda lowers the price, so that I was paying the actual real price of the basic room that they normally charge. In other words, they were not going to give me a superior room. I decided to not bother and stayed in the smaller room. Also, I had left an iphone charger in my room previously and called them that night to let them know. I assumed it would be there upon my return, but it was not. I won't be returning or recommending them.

Good location, clean and comfortable”

Overall, we had a pleasant stay here. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 4 and were allowed early check-in. The hotel is conveniently located off a fairly quiet ski, though there are lots of massage parlors and bars nearby and not a lot of restaurants. Lots of street stalls and convenience stores in the vicinity. The room is large and very clean, the beds comfortable. The hot water was not very hot, but it was ok. There are few amenities - no hot water pot, coffee, tea, and no hairdryer. I brought a small hot water pot and some instant coffee. Not a big deal. It's about a 10 minute walk to the BTS sky train and then just one stop to Asok to transfer to the MRT. There were some noisy nights at the hotel: one night there was some sort of drilling out on the street at 3 am, another night there was some hammering going on inside the hotel. Otherwise, fairly quiet. Limited English language TV channels, wifi in the room was pretty good for us. Desk staff speak limited English and don't expect help in terms of hailing cabs or sightseeing tips. Again, not a big deal. If you go to Bangkok for sightseeing, shopping and family fun and want a clean, inexpensive, conveniently located and no frills hotel, then this is a good choice.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location ”

Beautiful little boutique hotel that's located near major attractions but at the same time shielded from the hustle and bustle of sukhumvit. My room was tastefully decorated and large. Lobby was a good cosy place to chill out and unwind. Bangkok is full of uniquely themed boutique hotels run by passionate people who love what they are doing. If I'm ever visiting Bangkok again this would be one of my top picks. Well done guys!

i have stayed here before and will stay here again . the staff are polite and helpful .the rooms are spacious and spotless . this is an old hotel but is well maintained . each room has a big soft bed , cold airconditioning and hot water in the bathroom . best value for money in bangkok .

Lovely & Fantastic Vintage Hotel”

It's a really nice hotel. By paying the same price, you can get a huge & cozy room near BTS. Outside the hotel, on the main street, you can try a lot of Thai street food from Grilled Chicken/Pork to Tom Yum. There is a coffee shop below for breakfast or a cup of coffee. If you don't dare to try street food, there are JP, KR, Western all kinds of restaurant around the area within 5-10mins walk. :)

Great value for money and cool interior”

Walking distance from malls, restaurants, shops etc. A bit difficult to find since it’s in a small alley from sukhumvit 33. Loved the interior and the way rooms are decorated. Staff very friendly. Breakfast not included but good breakfast options and good coffee at the in-house passion cafe.
