Exceptional”

Banglumpoo place is really clean..near in khaosan walking distance only.with near 7 eleven..complete ammenities like spa,massage,with breakfast to offer just ask the food and they will offer a good food.street foods are everywhere.accomodating staff.they will help you really..the place is safe..they have tour packages also..free 15min.of internet to those who reside in their place.the room has a good ambiance..after tiring day..the channels are ok but not all cable english channels will get but they have english channels..with good wi fi connection inside the room..you will feel really at home..just relax and do your thing.

Great value, kind people”

I chose Banglampoo for our university group of 17 people last month. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms have individual hot water heaters for the shower, and the location is great for getting to the Grand Palace/Wat Pho/National Museum/River taxis in addition to being close to Khao San Road. The beds are hard, but that is normative in Thailand hotels. The staff was so kind. They gave great advice, worked well with our large group, and even helped us flag taxis for the airport. The massage place that is in the guest house is a bonus--we all had great experiences there. Some reviews complained that the rooms weren't serviced, but we did not have that problem. As long as we turned in our keys to the front desk when we left in the morning, they rooms were cleaned when we returned in the afternoon/evening. I was quite pleased with our stay and would stay there again.

Proper cheap hotel with all facilities you need”

Banglumpoo is a good and cheap guest house where you can go if you just want to relax and not be directly next to khao san road, although only two blocks down, it is just off khao san and gives you some peace and quiet. Rooms are facilitated with aircon, tv and a bathtub, although the bathroom was not very clean. Our room had a little balcony, but not worth using. It is not a very special guest house, but there is not much wrong with it.

Good value for $ spent”

Rooms are spacious and location is ideal. All facilities are perfectly adequate. Nothing fancy or extravagant but good solid deal. Helpful staff, breakfast included at most prices. Safe, clean, convenient checks all the boxes for a stay in the city. Walking distance from Khaosan Road but out of the hubbub.

Great, quiet location near Kao San”

A great place to stay if you want to be close to the action, but need some quiet time so you can sleep. The room had a fridge which was a plus! It was very close to a water taxi pier, a park, and Kao San Road for shopping! Very friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom was a bit funky, but had great hot water in the shower that didn't have a curtain (so it is tricky to not get the whole bathroom wet). Highly recommended for the price and location.

good, no thrills apartment type hotel”

I've been to bangkok over 10 times and this is my regular hotel now. The place is like an apartment block and has some long term residents. Rooms are massive with free wi-fi in your room and fridge and TV. Location is perfect if you want to be close to Khao San Road but not right in the middle of all the noise. discounts available for long term stays and good food stalls and restaurants are closeby.

This place has a good location and was easy to find and close enough to the busy Koh san road but still far enough away that we could sleep. freindly staff. office is open 24hrs so if you have to leave at 4am to get a flight then there is no worry about dropping your key etc.all very easy. the rooms were priced fairly for where they were and the staff offer a laundry service and you can use a coin opperated internet service in the office. all in all a good place to stay.

Meh....was ok....”

Banglumpoo guesthouse was more like a serviced apartment. The service was not very good at all. Staff were not attentive. I entered the office to ask for the wifi password (free for 1 hour a day) which they don't tell you about. And the guy was on the phone for about 5 minutes before even acknowledging me. There are other places for the same price with much better service. We would not return.

Good place”

Large rooms, good wifi, free water, strong a/c. Good location near Phra Arthit pier, Soi Rambutri, and Khao San Rd. It's not really a hotel but condo units turned into a hotel

Booked Deluxe room not provided”

Hotel did not provide booked deluxe room explaining that usual price is higher than given in agoda voucher. This was not communication problem: voucher said deluxe, hotel staff understood what i wanted, but they provided standard room, which is different. Can not say if this is Agoda or this particular hotel fault.

Great location close to Koh San Road”

Booked 2 rooms here,double and twin for me my partner and 2 older sons,was perfect location for koh San road and had a car parking space which I needed. Bed very comfy,room clean,shower warm. Only downside was the breakfast,when waking with a hangover I like bacon and sausage but this was just egg on toast and cereal,wouldn’t put me off staying again tho.

Kind Staff and Interesting neighborhood”

Near Khao San road but also a charming older neighborhood. Places to eat and a quiet temple just blocks away. Staff was kind, breakfast was plentiful and yummy.

Close to Khao San Road but not too close”

Great three-night stay. I wanted a triple room close to Khao San Road, and they seemed hard to find. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We were on the 23rd floor and didn't have any noise issues. The hotel was also close the the pier which was nice. A/C was very good and necessary given the crazy heat!

Now major flaws, but nothing special.”

Located a few blocks walk from Khao San Road (the main road for travellers), its not a convenient as some other guest houses, but its still not too far out of the way. It's not overly inviting and it felt like more of an empty apartment block, rather than a guest house, however, the rooms were a good size and quite comfortable.

Big room in a great location at the edge of action”

Elevator for heavy bags, good price for a big room, couch to relax in, fridge and desk but no clothes cupboard. TV only has CNN and Fox Movies in English but reception is good. Wifi is good, didn't work to begin with but staff quickly fixed it.

Overpriced for the facility”

We stayed for 4 night, price bit overpriced toward the facility. Breakfast not okay, they always serving expire orange juice every morning. Aircon noisy, lot of ants anywhere, ants at toothbrush, table, floor, bed we can not leave food for a moment coz ants will eat it. There some bugs at bed, just like small spider, i got bite and so itchy for 2days. Place really like standart guest house with hotel price. Street quite at 10pm, not comfortable for a lady to walking alone.

Good for location and deserve your money”

We 6 peoples stayed for 2 nights in 2 Triple rooms. The hotel is clean enough and 10 minute walk far from Khao San, which is acceptable for a pleasant walking before joining the freedom and excitement here. Staff is friendly and useful, though they refused printing some tourism vouchers for us at our check-out (maybe they were afraid of viruses from our USB stick). The air conditioner operates a bit loudly if you are not familiar with backpacker accommodation, and the room does not have a wardrobe neither a hanging hook to hold your jacket or used clothes. This is an okay hotel for short staying (1-2 nights). A satisfying experience overall.
