A Quiet Gem tucked away in the heart of Bangkok!”

I was a bit anxious staying here ,since it was so cheap and it was the same week the protests were on in Bangkok. But it was brilliant! There is a beautiful pool on the roof which is quite small but it's usually empty. The buffet style breakfast was great, it had tea/coffee, soups, toast with jam and marmalade, scrambled eggs, egg noodles, egg rice, shrimp rice and a selection of fruits such as watermelon and pineapple. There was also sausage and ham. All of it was fresh and tasty. The room was very clean and came with free water and the internet speeds were good. The view out my window was just of some lower buildings and it seemed that there was a graveyard visible too but this did not affect us really since it had a nice view of big skyscrapers. The hotel is very peaceful at day and night, and the staff are very friendly. I didn't try the room service but it was reasonably priced. It takes just a couple of minutes to walk to the main road which is fine but perhaps a bit scary at night and the road is very smelly from the drains BUT you can ask the reception and they will give you a FREE tuk-tuk ride from the hotel to the main road so that's very good. The Chong Nonsi Sky train is around ten minutes straight walk from the main road very easy to find! 7/11 store is also only 2minutes away. I recommend that you get the buffet breakfast with your room and go early to avoid other people! I went at 7am and had the whole buffet to myself. I would also recommend that you go to 25 degrees restaurant for burgers and milkshakes, it just around the corner form Chong Nonsi skytrain. Also Pat Pong district is on that same road. Enjoy your stay! I would highly recommend, and if I could go back to bangkok soon I would pick H-residence for sure! P.S. If you want to travel far in bangkok get the sky train or meter taxi as the tuk tuk drivers will rip you off.

New hotel with great service”

had a wonderful stay at h-residence in sathorn. at first looking at the map on agoda i thought the distance from the hotel to the bts surasak station was manageable. but when we arrive via taxi and we saw how far we need to walk to the bts we were like omg... but luckily the hotel provides free tuk-tuk service to the bts surasak station, phew. when we check-in the front-desk staff couldn't locate our booking via agoda, however after 10minutes of waiting a senior staff came to attend to us and told us that he will honour my printed agoda.com hotel voucher and gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe room as they ran out of superior rooms and then told us that he will contact agoda the next day to sort things out. the rest of our days we were greeted with a bright smile and a "good morning" by the ever friendly staff. we wanted to try out the swimming pool one day but as it turns out the swimming pool is not completed yet (as this property is still in construction) but the staff provided us with an alternative. he offered us the facilities of their other property "the heritage hotel".

Awesome hotel rooms with good service”

Location Though located a little off from the BTS station, the shuttle service more that makes up for it. Walking to the station takes around 10 to 15 minutes. The eatery nearby (around 200m from 7 eleven) has good traditional Thai food. Since the hotel is within the business area, there isn't much to do. However, since most of Bangkok is accessible by BTS and MRT, travelling around is no issue. Rooms Being a frequent traveller to Thailand and having stayed in many budget/mid-range hotels, I was impressed by the rooms. The furniture and decor of the room is modern, with a flat screen TV, refrigerator and safe. The bathroom has glass windows that looks into the sleeping area; convenient if you are staying alone to watch TV while showering. If you need privacy, just close the shower curtains to cover the bathroom windows. The only issue is the water not being warm enough. But it might just be an isolated issue; I didn't bring it up to the front desk. Staff and Service Hotel staff is especially friendly. Just let them know if you are heading out and the tuk-tuk shuttle service (during certain times only) will be arranged to take you to the station/main road. Conclusion H Residence is actually a smaller branch chain of the well-known Heritage Hotel. So, their overall standards are good. Then again, this might be true because they are new. Time will tell. I will definitely consider going back for a second stay.

the hotel staffs very friendly and helpful. and always offering a genuine smile. room very comfortable. cleanliness is great. in consideration with the price, this hotel is newly launched about two months. location is just 2 stations from bts sala deng bts, however there is around surasak bts station about 10 to 15 mins walking distance from the hotel. there is a tuk tuk service offers free from the h residence to bts but not vice versa. swimming pool is small but enough for sun bath. what a great experience about this hotel no word to say about this amazing stay. everything is nice and fine for me and i may stay there again if i am in bangkok next visit.

Location is just 2 stations from BTS Sala Deng BTS, however there is around Surasak BTS Station about 10 to 15 mins walking distance from the hotel. There is a Tuk Tuk service offers free from The H Residence to BTS but not vice versa. Swimming pool is small but enough for sun bath. Everything is nice and fine for me and I may stay there again if I am in Bangkok next visit.

Lovely Hotel for such an affordable Price”

my stay @ h-residence is truly an awesome experience, never expected to have such a lovely, very clean, high end furnished / decorated room for such an affordable price. although its location is inside a residential area which you still need to walk a long way just to reach the main road, the free "tuk tuk" ride to the main road is such a delightful additional free service.. staff are very friendly, food is average but within the price range... i will definitely use again h-residence hotel when i go back to bangkok.

Excellent choice and great location”

i would recommend this hotel to frequent bangkok travelers as first time visitors. h-residence staff i helpful and polite. the location is really nice you can even walk to the river or just jump to bts sky train. if you need mrt the station it is just round the corner. you can get taxi easily from the street and to avoid rush hour traffic just walk few blocks or take sky train. saphan thanksin is the place to catch river boats and basically from the h-recidence you can just walk to the riverside. i am fann of small hotels and what i really like about this hotel, it has this personal touch when communication with customers. the hotel is new and fresh.

H-Residence Sathorn is one of the best hotel”

It was one of the best hotel I've ever stay. I've been traveling a lot and I would like to say the hotel's view from outside is very nice, very nice pool, high speed wifi and the staff are very friendly, They even teach us how to get to the temples on our own, night market & Other shopping malls. We extend our stay there for another night. It was very nice experience. thank you H-Residence.

Great value for money, with a rooftop pool!”

We stayed in Bangkok for 4 nights and H-Residence was a great choice. The hotel is located near the BTS Surasak station (a bit hard to find for the first time) but they provided a regular tuc-tuc shuttle. The rooms were clean but not spotless and the breakfast was fine considering the price. If you don't want to spend too much on accommodation, but you are looking for a good place to stay, H-Residence is a fine choice. The roof top swimming pool was its greatest highlight! Too bad is closes at 7pm, thus you cannot enjoy a swim after a long hot day exploring Bangkok.

Good budget hotel in Sathorn”

Again on a business trip to BKK, it was a nice stay at H Residence because of its location. Only a few minutes ride on Tuk-Tuk to BTS sky train station - hotel offers free shuttle Tuk-Tuk. Good thai food at the hotel's restaurant.

Good value for your money hotel in Bangkok.”

We've been staying at the H residence hotels in Bkk for past 3 years and like this hotel group. The H residence at Sathorn Chongnonsri sky train station is most convenient with easy access to sky train. Great variety breakfast buffet.

Pleasant and Comfortable, Amazing staff”

The staff here was friendly and people at the front desk speak good English (and some Mandarin, too). We stayed for five nights and enjoyed the breakfast each morning (though the selections got a bit monotonous). The room is comfortable and the internet works decently. When it didn't work well in the room, we took our laptops to the lobby and got good service on the network there. The BTS Surasat is only a 15-minute walk, but the tuktuk service to that main road cuts it to about 5 minutes. Also, there are a lot of open taxis on that main road. (The hotel is in an alley off of a soi sathorn 11, so it is a little hard to find. There's a side street with the number "4" on it, just past a school, and that's the side alley "junction 4" where the driver needs to turn. It's also just past a 7Eleven on your left.) We enjoyed the rooftop pool. Some areas are still under construction, but the pool itself was refreshing! We only have two complaints. (1) The tuktuk service doesn't run before 9am or between 3-6pm. It appears to be a city-wide rule that tuktuks can't be on the street during this time? And (2) we were awakened a few mornings before 8am by other loud guests in the hallyway. Otherwise, it was quiet, just not a good hotel for sleeping in.

Great hotel, great staff, good location, good valu”

I only have good things to say about this hotel. It is by far the best that Bangkok has to offer, for the price. The rooms are clean, modern, and pleasant (very updated). Beds are comfortable, and room amenities are provided (like small fridge, hot pot with coffee). Staff is always very helpful and friendly, and speak good English. Breakfast has many selections, and the lobby/breakfast area is pleasant. Nice is that the hotel is so close to the greatest parts of Bangkok - restaurants, night life. It is an excellent value, and always my first choice when coming to the city.

Short business trip ”

I had a great stay there as my daughter was born in st. Louis the very same day, unfortunately St. Louis Hospitel that is 4 times the price per.day made me not enjoy it completely. They are supposed to be a great hospital but that is go hok but on the other hand H-residence is a super good hotel for it's price !!

Comfortable and cozy hotel”

My stay was very comfortable at H-Residence. Since it is a relatively new hotel, my room was well-maintained and very clean. The staff was also very friendly and the rooms are also very safe and well-secured. They also offer free tuk-tuk service to the BTS station which makes it a convenient place to stay for day trips going around Bangkok.

Cheap. clean. and centrally located ”

H Residence is located down a very quiet lane in spite of the fact that it is in the middle of Bangkok. The breakfast is not bad, especially considering it was included in the price of the room. There is even a small but clean pool on the roof. Also, you can walk to the Sky train in about ten minutes, and it is just two stops to the tourist pier on the Chao Praya River. This hotel is great value for budget travelers.

Everything are ok. Newly open hotel . About 60% opened. Left spa syet. auna and gym not opened yet. Bed is comfortable. Cleanliness is great. Shower is not hot. Anyway weather in Bangkok is hot, not a major issue. They have duk duk shuttle to Surasak BTS station. They will drop off you at main street near the station. Lovely boutique hotel in Sathorn district.

Simple hotel with good location”

the hotel is really simple without much facilities. however, the rooms are very clean with good air-con. the location is really exellent. the rooms have different size although same price. so it really depends on luck on which room you will get. the staff in general are friendly. however, the management is rather disorganized. we have stayed for three nights, then left for battaya. we wished to stay in the sme hotel, so we have called and asked the price. upon the agreement on the phone, we have returned to h-residence, however, the manager offered a much more expensive price for the rooms. after negotiation and comprised 100 bud on the price, we settled for another night. such experience felts very unprofessional. the food in the hotel is excellent although a bit pricy. the service of the restrerant of the hotel is great!

great hotel...it has it all. brand new hotel still has to be finished. internet in room, coffee & tea making facilities, safe, bathtub in some rooms, hair dryer, fridge, flat screen tv, pool(roof top), gym still not complete, good restaurant, tuk tuk service, key card access to get in rooms, no balcony in my room. cleaned everyday. hospital near bye. 7/11 & bts a little far but tuk tuk service can take you there. staff very help full. will stay at this hotel next time i'm in sathorn

H residence is a brand new hotel just open on August. It is the same chained as the heritage groups. H residence hotel hotel is located near Surasak bts staion. You can call the hotel to pick you up at soi Sathorn 15, which mean you have to walk abit from bts . The hotel would send TukTuk service to pick you up. And it also can send you from the hotel to bts. Around the hotel don’t have shop or food store. You have to come out to the Bts area in order to find something to eat. There is seven eleven near the bts station. It quite convenience to go around town by bts, But on the way back to the hotel you have to find your own way back. The hotel room is very new and nice. l
