convenient, decent hotel room, nice stuffs!!!”

near to the airport, decent, cheap room fee
far away from downtown, if u want to go shopping, thats not the right hotel for u

i stayed there on 22nd to 23rd, i didnt mean to stay there, but my flight from Bangkok to Macau was cancelled due to typhoon holding. i felt extremely depressed when i was at the airport, cuz i didnt book hotel room in bangkok, which means i would have to stay at the airport waiting for the latest news about my flight and not sure how long it would be. later, boyf and i decided to book one and tried to via agoda. i only got 15mins in my internet credit, so we had to make the best use of our time. luckily this hotel was the first one that came into our eyes, after seeing the pix of hotel rooms and the price we booked it in 5mins. then we went to the hotel directly, and they allowed us to check in earlier with nice smile. entering the room what a surprise! i thought it would be a rubbish place cuz usually pix would be nice than what it is, and the room fee was cheap. its really nice room, not fancy but clean, it has all i wanted, air-co, tv, comfy bed, hot shower, frige, washing machine was just downstairs, just put some coin in it, u can do it urself. the thing moved me most is the stuff was on duty on mid night( didnt know about his name), he kept helping us to find out the news about our flight information for a few hours, and printed it out while we were sleeping...i like this hotel not only coz the price was cheap but also coz the stuffs tried all they could to help their guests!

Although it has clean and large rooms, with friendly staff, Nawarat resort is in the middle of nowhere. NOT particularly near the airport and not convenient to reach central Bangkok. Difficult to find, even with address. Airport transfer was included in my rate, however, which makes is possible to use as a stopover hotel.

    Good layover hotel”

    Friendly staff, convenience store nearby.
Bathroom not up to the cleanliness standard of the rest of the room, lock on the door seemed slightly unreliable.

We stayed at this hotel for only about 6 hours during a layover in Bangkok. With the included transport service, it was very convenient, and the staff was very friendly, though only one person we met spoke conversational English. They were there to pick us up at the airport when we arrived, and were waiting to return us to the airport at the appointed time. We left too early in the morning to take advantage of the breakfast or the massage, but with the Family Mart convenience store nearby we were able to buy some food/drink for breakfast. Since the hotel is also an apartment building, it had more of a residential feeling rather than a hotel feeling. To me, the major negative about the hotel was that the bathroom didn't feel so clean--most likely because it had a stone floor and some rocks (perhaps as an attempt at decoration) around it, and some stains on the walls. However, for the price, and the convenience, it was fine.

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful!”

-room; very clean and comfy -a/c in hotel rooms -great decoration and entrance -SUPER friendly staff -free shuttle service to and from airport -complimentary 30 min thai massage.
-the bathroom didn't have toilet paper and a bit humid because there is no a/c. the a/c is just in the room area.

The hotel was very clean, had a free shuttle service from the airport when I landed. I thoroughly enjoy my complimentary 30 min massage, which i definitely needed after my long flight. The free breakfast consist of sandwiches, toast w/jam, egg, sausage, and ham. I am a vegetarian so I gave the meats to the lovely stray dogs around that area. After they found out that I was a vegetarian they try to accommodate me by giving me some guava which was very considerate. p.s. If you don't like your breakfast there...please don't let it go to waste. Instead, give it to the stray dogs who really need!

    Perfect for an overnighter”

Clean, nicely decorated, roundtrip airport transfer included, excellent service, nearby 24 hour shops
some distance from Bangkok centre but it's meant to be an airport hotel so not a real con

We entered our flight details on the 'additional requests' space when booking through agoda & were met at the airport by a representative with out name on a sign. We had a short wait before being picked up in a lovely Audi & driven to the hotel (about 20 minutes drive - it's actually right next to the airport but the way the roads are you have to go a roundabout way to get there) - we were asked when we wanted breakfast & taken back to the airport the next day on check in then shown to our room. It was beautifully decorated & very comfortable, the only complaint being there was only 1 english channel to watch, but since it was a short overnight stay this wasn't an issue. There were coin operated washing machines & water dispensers in the lobby & nearby 24hour shops. Breakfast was reasonably tasty & on the way back since we weren't in a rush for our flight we got taken the scenic route which showed us a view over the whole airport. Our only niggle was the we were asked for 200 Baht for our return trip to the airport, we told them we booked specifically because it was a free roundtrip & after checking with the manager it was decided it was fine & we didn't need to pay (just as well!)

    Nawarat Resort Review”

The staff are great. Very nice and helpful and tried their best to make this a 3 star or so experience. The restaurant looks basic but the food is delicious. The rooms are quite nicely outfitted.
I was under the impression there was 24 hour room service, however, there was no hotel book in the room. The only two English channels I was interested in watching didn't work - Star World (sound was ok but really fuzzy picture) and CNN (perfect picture but no sound). I called them for help however they could not fix it or do anything to improve the situation. Tried to tune the TV myself but to no avail.

Overall this is a nice hotel and with the return transfers included and the special price including breakfast ($26) you couldn't complain. However, if you were paying full price you might have a few issues such as the TV channels that didn't work as outlined in CONS. The breakfast is really basic and is basically a choice of 5 meals - all Asian options bar one. Again if you don't mind the Asian option then go for it. The western option is Ham/Tuna Sandwich which is not at all how it sounds!!! They do have a bit of a buffet where you can make toast with jam so that will save people who make a bad choice. The restaurant for dinner was cheap and delicious. Plus they gave me a free dessert. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were really attentive and honestly could not help enough.

Good value for money and staff polite

This hotel had good rooms and mainly caters for Thai people. However I found the staff very helpful and really nice. My breakfast was brought to my room and tasted good. I had booked the wrong day and had came a day early. The staff explained that it was fine and just moved my stay a day forward, which was really nice as I felt that other hotels may not have been so helpful. The hotel may be good for the budget traveller but I have to say that the rooms were very clean and roomy. Very good value but very much off the beaten track.

Good for taking rest between flights.”

Good price as also included transfer from/to airpo.
Far from tourist aria, not new, most of building is apartments for locals.

The hotel is good for rest between a long trip to Bangkok and other destinations. We arrived to Bangkok in the morning and were very tired after a long trip with 6 hours waiting between in Kuwait. It was very nice to find a representative of the hotel with a paper of our names directly at the entrance of the airport. In 10 min we were already relaxing in our room. The room is very simple and not new, but after a long trip we need just to rest. In the evening we decided to eat somewhere and had to take a taxi as around the hotel there is just local life. For us it was not important as for the price we paid (including also transfer from/to airport) is real nothing. At 4:00 a.m. we already made check-out and kind reception transferred us to the airport again for local flight to Koh Samui. We would advice the hotel exactly for this kind of stops, for having the rest between traveling around.

Proximity to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised to be picked up in an Audi
The a/c was not working properly

While the price is cheap I would not recommend it as there are better options available at the same price. The facility was very basic. Not up to the mark. It is more of a serviced apartment and not really a resort as the name suggests. I would definitely not want to go there again

Near airport, breakfast, clean rooms, people at the hotel were very helpful and friendly.

We stay here one night, because we want to stay close to the airport. The rooms were clean. Mini bar and room service is good and not expensive. Very cheap! Breakfast is simple but good. Also there is a free shuttle from hotel to airport. This hotel is only good if you want to stay near the airport otherwise if you want to discover Bangkok, search a hotel in the center. This hotel is too far to the center.

    Basic but clean hotel”

    Clean, friendly staff
Far from airport, difficult to find

We chose the place for its location as I had late arrival and early departure. The airport pick-up was very nice - no wait and the car was clean and comfortable. My friend came from the city by taxi and had difficulty finding the hotel. It was a bit too far from the airport than we expected. The staff were friendly and understood English well. The room was basic but clean. The A/C worked fine but it was too loud to have it on all night. Special promotion indicated 30 minutes free massage, but it was not mentioned upon check-in (I arrived late so I did care less). The breakfast was included in the rate but not available when we left - it would have been nice to indicate breakfast time on the website. There was some mis-arrangement of transportation to the airport. We had to wait about 20 minutes. Besides that, it was a nice, comfortable hotel with friendly staff.

    Staff seemed pleasant

To start with: No airport shuttle came to pick us up, though we had paid money for it. I am a female foreign traveler, reaching bangkok at midnight, only to find no one was there to take me to the hotel. Reached Nawarat, to see that the rooms were full of insects: lizards, ants, etc, etc. Breakfast was not too good, either. Will not recommend this place for anyone!!

    very hard to locate.

I booked this hotel online. When arriving at the airport I forgot to arrange pickup so just thought I would take a taxi. Unfortunately, 1.5hrs after my flight got in I was back at the airport. No taxi driver could find the hotel. Once we finally got there the room was fine and nice for a reasonable price. If you book with Agoda, you get free pick-up and taking to the airport...so make sure you arrange ahead of time or print a map to take with you!

you can enjoy very local atmosphere at there
nothing to do around there and nobody can speak english even a word.

i expected more closed to the airport but it took exactly 15 min. from the airport by a car which run very fast with 110km/ph average speed. I do not get exact location but, hence, I can guess very far from the airport. However, I did not felt any bad feeling with the hotel as they provide return trip from/to airport as the complementally service of the hotel for each guest. If you want enjoy real local atmosphere in Bangkok, you can enjoy a few days in the hotel and its local kind people. room is OK (clean).

Unfortunately this hotel is quite far from anywhere of interest except the beautiful temple nearby. Staff whilst very polite lacked good english. The 2 restaraunts as advertised were very poor and although I did eat at one, I would not recommend them if you are unsure about Thai food. Hotel in general was fairly clean and maintained, and good if you are on a budget, or fancy somewhere quiet for maybe a weekend or quiet couple of days away from the crazyness of Bangkok, but as stated was rather dissapointing due to lack of services and local facilities. I decided after 3 nights to cut short my week stay and moved into central Bangkok

Very near airport, small room, friendly service”

    Very friendly receptionist
No restaurants nearby( within walking distance)

We transited at bkk, so stayed there for one night. the room was ok, clean, though small. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, great recommendation for local Thai restaurant and massage place. But there is no place to eat or shop , within walking distance, so we hadto call and wait for taxi.
