One thing that me and my wife look for is Cleanliness and we were not disappointed. The room and hotel is kept very clean and tidy. The staff could not be any more helpful and polite. We stayed at the Nana Hotel on Soi (Nana) 4 a few times but did not like the staff there. So we decided this year to look somewhere else. We liked the look of the Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel and the reviews for good. There is a kettle and two cups in your room but you have to provide your own coffee or tea. We were happy with this and simply provided our own choice. There was a safe in the room but we did not use it, the shower toilet etc was spotless and all worked very well. If I was asked to change anything then I would upgrade the sunbeds around the pool. Move some plants back a bit to give a bit more room near the pool and there is a great area to have a bar to serve drinks which is the raised floor level at one end of the pool. These are suggestions not faults and I would stay there again.

Fantastic Hotel”

Fantastic hotel, fantastic staff and fantastic location. The only thing I would recommend the hotel to invest in is to place a safe in each room. I stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The staff are awesome and are willing to help with any enquiry. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. I will definitely be returning to Ruamchitt Plaza Hotel. Thank you to the Ruamchitt Hotel staff for making my first overseas trip enjoyable and stress free.

A very affordable option in Sukhumvit”

I had a seminar to attend at Sofitel and was not willing to fork out RM690 per night for Sofitel so I found Ruamchitt Plaza which was apparently right next door to Sofitel! Literally next to each other. Nana Station is a short 5 minutes walk away. The room is small but decent. No minibar though. Also came as a shock to me that the Thermae Bar below has a very very huge reputation of being the only bar in all of Bangkok that has freelancing sex workers. It was a very interesting trivia for me - please note that I am just a lady on a work trip and not an itchy old man, looking for a decent place to stay close enough to my seminar venue. My only concern is Bangkok is if I have enough time to shop at all the night markets. This location allowed me to fulfill my visits to all my shopping destinations!

Ruamchitt Rocks”

My 3 day stay at Ruamchitt was very pleasant, enjoyed the closeness to Sukhumvit, hotel entrance right on Sukhumvit and also considering the location very quite, the staff were extra friendly and the night club under the hotel was mmmm...different, but enjoyable all the same.I will definitely consider staying here again as a kick off to my next holiday.

If you are traveling by yourself on vacation, this is the hotel for you in Bangkok. It is located a short 4 minute walk from Terminal 21, which is one of the best malls in Bangkok with an amazing food options. The hotel is also located right in between the two BTS skytrain stops Asok and Nana, so you can access either one to get to anywhere else in Bangkok very easily. I stayed in the modern chinese room and it was very small, but clean and efficient. There is No closet, fridge, or safe in the room, so know what you are booking. I had a backpack and 1 large checkin luggage and I was fine in this room. The AC works very well, and so does the wifi. Sometimes there can be street noise, so if you are a light sleeper, I would not book the city view room, because the cars going by will disturb you. You get 2 bottles of water, but they will no be cold because there is no fridge. There is no minibar. The service at this hotel has always been top notch. They have ALWAYS let me check in early when a room is available free of charge. They have even let me check out late at 130pm free of charge too, because my flight was leaving later that night. If you will to check out at 6pm, you can pay a half day, which is 700baht or $20USD. The staff is always nice and do what they can to assist you. The cleaning staff is always very kind and do a great job making your rooms each day. Just remember to put the tag outside your door so they know you want your room made. The roof top pool is also very nice. Easy way to get a nice tan. I would not recommend this hotel for family's as the rooms are very small. They may have bigger rooms, but do not book the modern chinese room if you are staying with children.

OK, it is rare to have a hotel in bangkok where smoking is allowed and it was quite a stay for us. It was very quiet hotel too so you can sleep well at night. It was not a bad hotel at all. For that price, I think it is all worthwhile. I would give five stars if they gave me bottle water the first day when I checked in, so next time, give me water! LOL... Roberson is nearby and so as all transportation. If you are looking to snack shopping, Roberson can fulfill all your snack needs. There were quite a lot of nice restaurants nearby and across the road as well. And there is an old book store nearby and it was a germ! I would definitely stay in this hotel next time. My suggestion, probably better ventilation before check in, it was quite hot in bangkok with the sun shine directly, no amount of air condition can cool the room down in an instant. Also, better television, it was almost impossible to watch anything, the reception was very bad.

A great place to stay”

Everything about Ruamchitt Plaza is great. It is very clean and all staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area is clean and comfortable. I especially liked that they had Fox news on cable.

No 1 Hotel in Bangkok ”

Hotel is an amazing location with Nana and Asok stations closeby. Next to lots of bars and restaurants. For entertainment both Nana and Soi Cowboy are at a walkable distance. The rooms have been recently renovated so veey new and spacious. The whole hotel is very clean and staff are amazing. Rooms have both smoking and non smoking options and restaurant downstairs has yummy Thai and western food. They also have a pool table and wifi available throughout the hotel. They also have an amazing rooftop pool on the 8th floor. The hotel has amazing deals so is a must if you want a place to stay in Bangkok. Higly recommend this hotel to any solo travller. Will definately be back!

Exceptional”

Was welcomed by very friendly staff great team and decent comfortable rooms for the price. Great for a few days in Bangkok, perfect for me as I was in transit has a rooftop pool was great to chill stay out of the heat. Only con a bit too much chlorine so if you have goggles saves the eyes 😔 As a side note it does get a little busy just outside the hotel at night.. End of the day it is sukhumvit.

I had booked an Airbnb that turned out to be a fail. Luckily there was room at the OYO 108 Raumchitt Plaza Hotel. Check in was very quick and smooth. The room and facilities far exceeded what I had expected. The location is wonderful; close to both the Asok and Nana BTS Stations, with many other shops and such in easy walking distance. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Bangkok.

Understand where you are staying”

I enjoyed my stay here and hope to do so again. But travelers need to understand that this end of Sukhumvit is not Disneyland. The people complaining about the skin trade in the proximity have not done their home work on Bangkok and probably shouldn't be in BKK in the first place. Also understand that the studio room does not have a window which means it is quiet and pitch dark when the lights are off. This is great for those who want to sleep in but are awoken by the morning light. I am one of those people and I swear I slept over 10 hours which I sorely needed . I can never sleep this late at home. The modest sized roof top pool is nothing fancy but it is still a nice treat. If you want a big extravagant pool then go book an expensive hotel. But the pool here is just a good place to relax and cool off from the heat. The staff were great and set the standard for my visit other hotels in Thailand. In short this is a great place for a healthy, red-blooded male to stay in. Females with an open mind will appreciate this property as well, I would think. But this is not for the family or folks with a prudish mindset.

Amazing location and great hotel”

This hotel sits on the Thermae bar and between Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza. It is a great value for its money and the staff are amazing. It also is located super close the the Nana BTS stop of the public transport making it easy to come and go. I would suggest others stay here to wish to visit Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza or just enjoy Bangkok.

Many reasons to like this place ”

First off, this hotel is in a great location. On the Sukhumvit main road, so an easy walk to the nearby malls, train stops, nightlife. The transport links also give you easy access to the rest of the city. The hotel itself is also in good shape, with nice rooms and all the amenities you'd need. There's a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel too. It must be said though that the hotel does serve a particular purpose for many guests, given the location of it to the nearby red light district. Despite that, it's not sleazy or of poor quality.

Althought the rooms are perfectly adequate I think the price charged was slightly high, but given the advantages of its location, overall it was worth it. The room did not have a mini-bar, which I was happy with as the hotel made no attempt to overcharge for inexpensive beverage. I was also pleased with their laundry service as it was efficient and charged a fair price. The only downside was that they let guest smoke - I think they ought to consider having a no-smoking policy. Overall I was happy with my stay and would use the hotel again when next in Bangkok.

The Ruamchitt is a 3-4 mins walk from both Nana & Asok Skytrain stations and ideally placed for all the main sightseeing attractions, nightlife venues and bars/restaurants. I stayed in one of the newer superior double rooms, which was perfect. Staff were helpful and the room was cleaned daily. There is a rooftop swimming pool which is great for relaxation as not many people seem to use it! The only downside (unless you're single!)is that there is a very popular downstairs bar right next to the hotel and many ladies hang around waiting to find a companion for the night.

One of the more interesting places I've stayed...”

This place is in the best possible spot on Sukhumvit if you're looking for things to do and ease of public transport. However, traffic getting in and out the hotel is ABSURD so give yourself extra time to get to the airport. The room was not amazing, but fine (plus you can smoke in there... fine for me). Room service and reception were fine, and the restaurant downstairs was pretty good and inexpensive. The real attraction here was the Thermae "Café" downstairs. Watching the working girls and customers filter in at about 730pm every night was a treat. Visit this place, even if you're not shopping for company. It's just... weird. Great location, good hotel, recommended (not for families though).

The hotel is situated in the lively Sukhumvit area and well placed for all the nightlife at Nana Plaza & Soi Cowboy, plus numerous other bars and restaurants. My room was clean and big enough and it was great to have use of the rooftop swimming pool in the afternoons. Nana and Asoke BTS skytrain stations are both within 5 minutes walk giving easy access to Bangkok's tourist attractions and shopping malls. This is a good value for money hotel for a short stay in Bangkok.
