Moeleng Boutique Resort - A Place You Must to Stay”

We got a very pleasant four nights stay here. To be honest, initially we are a bit worry about renting hotel in Bangkok as some of our friend told us some hotels are eerie. Well, this hotel is proving otherwise. Thumbs up for hotel management and staffs. This hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. We like their smiles and their friendly advices/tips on traveling in Bangkok. Our trip here is very enjoyable and pleasant because of you all. Hotel interior decoration is nice too. Affordable price and 5 star service, truly value for your money.

Great little find”

This was a fantastic value for money hotel that I would use anytime visiting Bangkok. It feels very contempary and newly built. The room itself was large, clean and has nice shower with very nice bed. Taxis did struggle to find this hotel and even tried dropping me a few streets away insisting hotel was just round that corner, make sure you take a buisness card with you although this still didn't help one driver. The neaest skytrain station is a fair walk too, only 15 mins but in the heat and along very busy road it felt further,the hotel staff can call you a cab. The staff themselves were friendly and attentive. For the price this hotel is a great place to stay in Bangkok.

NICE”

S2S moeleng boutique hotel is anice,comfort,affordable and yet close place to shooping area around bangkok, 10 minutes walk to pratunam, 10 minutes walk to BTS train, and quite near to 7 eleven also and to on food street places. a bit dark on the area but still its quite safe even when u go walking by midnight. More modernized on rooms and more attention on providing shuttle services from airport to hotel, maybe someday can add a small s.pool for relaxing at hotel as ur plus point. good services, nice and warm hotels staff even the sales manager as well. keep up and improving in the future.

Charming”

I found the Moleng Boutique hotel to be utterly charming and a really nice place to stay. I can't believe such a nice place was so inexpensive; it really exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was quite large, even with a king size bed there was space to move around the room. The drinking water was replenished daily, so I always had enough available. The staff was incredibly helpful; they called to help us arrange travel to Ayuthaya and to follow up for us on getting dinner reservations. I think they went out of their way to make me comfortable. When I checked in I was coughing and getting over a cold, and they gave me a glass of fresh orange juice that really hit the spot. I did not eat any meals at the hotel.

Same as my last review. Decided to stay for some more days due to its location and room and price and clever staff. Coming back in janury for sure. I like this hotel also because its a small one. Not too crowdy and easy to get help if needed. Hotel recommended especially if you want to go shopping at Pratunam (and you should)!

location, location, location”

This hotel is very nice, the general standard & condition is excellent. I particularly liked the shower. The AC, competent enough to freeze an eskimo, is worth mentioning aswell. However, it is located on a small backstreet of a block, and was darn near impossible to find. Our taxidriver from the airport spent around 45 minutes searching before he could find the hotel. The hotel conveniently has small pamphlets at the reception with instructions to bring with you to give the taxidrivers when you want to go home, but some drivers just looked at it and simply refused the drive which was annoying. Once we found it, it was relatively easy to get there, and it is located within walking distance from Baiyoke tower & skytrain. We got 2 rooms adjacent to eachother, with a door between, which was very convenient to us as a family. The rooms are small though, even though they offer an extra bed as an option, it barely fits. For us, it was no major problem with the hotel lacking an elevator, it was a minor nuisance though. 2 stairs to climb after a long day shopping is not what you look forward to, and elderly and those with some kind of impairment should perhaps look at another hotel.

Cozy Moeleng”

Worthwhile boutique class. Overall, pleasant 6 days and 5 nights stay. Love the cozy and comfy environment especially its beautifully decorated tropical garden. Not forgetting to commend its approachable and English speaking staff. Except minor improvements required in terms of hygiene and signage, overall thumbs up for value (come on - FOC delicious breakfast and speedy internet access). Highly recommended for those looking for accommodation in Pratunam area and definitely will stay here again on return visit.

Lovely Hotel and Helpful Staff”

I think the hotel is very nice with this price and location, not a fussy and crowded place where we can relax after a hectic day in Central BKK. Next time I go for shopping at Pratunam, I will definitely stay at S2S!

awesome hotel with fast good wifi”

my friend and i book 2 nights with s2s boutique hotel. we had a pleasant stay. the room are spacious. we book a superior garden view but wasn't a garden view at all. the wifi connection is very good and fast. those who just want a pleasant stay in bangkok, i recommend this hotel. however its far from the pratunam market. we mostly took the airport rail link to change to the skytrain.

Good Location but small room”

Good value for a 2-star hotel in central Bangkok. Hot showers, TV, air conditioner worked well. In quiet area so there is no problem sleeping. Meals in restaurant were good and at fair prices, but not large portions. Sheets not changed daily. Close to train stop from airport. Recently they have added charges for Wifi or internet use. Nice gardens adjacent to first floor rooms.

Nice hotel”

Went there in the off season, and were the only guests.. very nice place, and friendly staff. Can't really sit in the garden cause it is too hot. Hard to find, but a nice walk through local streets once you do find it. Walking from hotel to pratunam is ok, but you need to be careful crossing the large roads with no signage.

Quite Okay”

If travelling for the first time to Bangkok, the location of the hotel is quite difficult to find. Lucky for us the cab driver knew where the hotel was when we showed him the sketch, this is a disadvantage if you've booked for tour packages with free pick-up included, you will need to be fetched somewhere else more accessible. Basically, the hotel provided us with what we needed. A decent room to stay for night. We had a good sleep, air-condition unit works well, not a lot of noise. I say it was a good value for the money paid granted that we only needed the room for a place for rest.

Cheap and worth the money”

After reading the reviews on agoda.com, we printed the map n used it to find our way to the hotel during our trip. All taxi drivers are able to find it. The hotel is not as what it seems on the website gallery, looks ordinary. We were out in the morning and back at night, good hot shower and comfy bed! Pratunam area are only 10 mins walk and counter guy are helpful with the direction, map and tips! for taxi, just need to walk about a lil bit, plenty of taxi! recommended for those traveling in tight budget!

Review update Sept '09”

After booking S2S online, I read some previous reviews and was shock with some negative remarks and thought that I had made a big mistake to choose this 'hotel'. However, upon reaching the place, the small green garden at the entrace gave me a peaceful feeling right away. The room is also not as empty as I expected, in fact it is simply but nicely decorated. Its just that I booked a deluxe room but it does not have a bathtub as advertised in the website. I was disappointed that I paid slightly more than my friends for the bathtub but did not get it. Difference of standard and deluxe room is only 2 single bed and the other is a queen size bed, well, at least I do not have to move the beds together right in the middle of the small room like what my husband & wife friends had to do. On the map it does not look near to Platinum nor Pratunam, but my boyfriend & I walked to Baiyoke's Indra Square to shop, before we know it, we're there! It just about 10 mins stroll, from there, you can walk another 5 mins to Platinum and Pratunam Centre. Plus you can go for the cheap and fabulous massage before going back to the hotel. It was really better than I had expected. Then again, I was prepared to check into a bare hostel, if your expectations are not high, I think you wouldn't be disappointed.

Been staying lots of times here in Bangkok. Always looking for hotels with good "value for money", and this is one of the best in this category. Location is great for shopping, and also most of the things you want to do in this town. Can be a bit challenging to find the hotel the first time. But just say Soi Mohleng, that helps. I am going back here next time, no doubt about that.

Clean and good hotel”

The place is clean, Free internet access and not that fare from the market. You can go to central world or shopping mall (platinum mall in pratoonam or saim mall) by walking about 15 mins It's also near public park and Airportlink sky train (soon to be open) this is great and reasonable price for the hotel that i will go back to stay whenever i have a chance.

Nice apartment-type hotel”

this is a clean-looking (because of its very nice exterior) & quiet hotel (about 10-15 mins. walk to the pratunam shopping area). very big room & comfortable bed. my partner & i noted that their dining selections were quite limited, so we ended up eating out most of the time. try to go up to their rooftop & you'll have great views of the surrounding buildings.

Cosy, airy hotel”

Very pleasant and economical for a family with kids to stay for several days. Although in a compact location, the hotel feels spacious with a nice, airy layout. The room is not new but is well maintained. The bathroom has a good shower with plenty of hot water that arrives quite quickly. The personal spray-wash by the toilet (not found in many expensive hotels) was convenient. No lift but only five storeys so no problem for reasonably fit folks.

At first when checked-in date they haven't receive confirmation from Agoda But the owner still managed a room for me well. I really appreciated. When I entered the room there was some bad smell seems like must from the carpet. After briefly it's okay but they hadn't table in the room . Wi-Fi is very good! Overall is very nice and worthwhile for expense. The hotel renovated in this period. You should called them for ask information first and I will go back there again!
