Absolutely relax after crazy shopping 3 days!”

Thanks SN Mansion for a great time being there! Your staff always smile and answer every single questions about BKK. There's a receptionist man who was very kind to wake us up by phone first, then by himsefl knocking the door to make sure we would not be late for our flight:) Last but not least, he called us a taxi to airport at 4am and say "good bye" with a very bright smile. Room services are great, everything is clean and tiny when we're back to hotel in the evening. It's worth every penny!

Worth a look for a budget hotel close to Morchit.”

This is a difficult hotel to find as it is not at the adress on agoda and does not have the name SN Mansion outside ( it is on a billboard at the end of the rather long road it is in) Because it is not near the BTS /MRT you need to use taxis and therefore you need a hotel card to find the place. Once there, the hotel staff are helpfull and you discover it is cheaper to pay at the hotel than through the super special rate on Agoda. The room was very comfortable but i found the corridoors reminiscent of a prison.

Quiet, clean and comfortable, with no frills”

Tucked away 10 minutes cab ride from Ari BTS is this little haven of silence. If you get a room a few floors up, not only are you treated to the balcony and mundane-yet-interesting views of Bangkok but it is quite silent bar the ever-present hum of distant traffic. Very clean, very comfortable (the beds have 4 pillows!), the bathroom is just fine and the shower is decent. There are a lot of great restaurants apart from the attached Japanese sushi place nearby, such as Pla Dib (roughly 15 minutes in a taxi) not to mention the myriad of cafes and restaurants located at the Marketplace at Ari BTS, such as The Greyhound Cafe and House of Beers where you can get a variety of exotic beers for a slightly hefty price (it's worth it if you're holidaying). The room is a little bland, but still quite nice. I'm really just saying it lacks decor, which is bad if that's what you're after but we were quite comfortable with what we got. Overall, totally worth checking out.

Perfect choice for cheap but convinient stay”

while the building look old and the hall is a bit creepy, but the room is very clean and nice. the price is affordable, too. even though the location is quite far from the shopping center and tourism object, it is still reachable. many taxi and tuk tuk pass by the hotel. it is also close to the bus station (10-15 minutes walk), bts (cost 50-60 thb by taxi meter) and mrt station. the staff are very friendly and helpful, even though they speak limited english. i have a difficulty finding halal food around, as i am moslem. however, there are many 7/11 around, where you can get bread or instant food (10-15 minutes walk). i do not recommend you to walk though, because the streets are small and no space for walking. i almost got hit by car !

Spacious room at a good price”

the mansion is about 1 km from the nearest mrt station, sutthisan. the room is comfortable and we don't have any complaint about it. surprisingly, the view from the room is great, too.

Nice, Quiet Hotel”

The hotel is nice, but it about 10 minutes walk from the main road. It has good street food nearby. Taxi to Ratchada would cost about 40-50 baht. Ratchada has nice bars/shops/restaurants. The staff was friendly and the cleaning ladies were very responsive. Wifi is OK. Air conditioning is good. Shower was hot.

Large room at affordable price”

Basically SN was a choice of mine to sleep and go. Large room given, bed was still ok. Location wise was pretty alright for me since I am driving. It large room was a good choice if traveling as a family for holiday.

Value for money!”

Overall the hotel is good value for money if your are planning to stay for an extended period (ie. around one month). The majority of the staff are friendly and speak a little English. The room was always kept clean by the maids and another plus point is that if breakfast is included in your package; then you can designate a time for it to be delivered to your room. The (very) small gym is very outdated and falling apart but is better than nothing. The final plus for the hotel is the pool on the roof which also offers views over the city.

Facilities are dated, room has a bit of odor. Location is great for staying in Ratchada

Nice place with opposites”

After check-in and pay 500 Baht deposit went to a clean, large and quiet room with many TV channels. Leaking toilet but so it is. The swimming pool was closed for maintenance. Easy to park your car, always taxi's closeby, not too far from Soi Ari where you can find restaurants and the Skytrain. Also a few restaurants around the hotel. Opposite is a student bar with decent music and fair prices. They serve a good breakfast but take your time when you order and use it at your room and not at the parkingplace terrace. Overall a fair place to stay for just sleeping.

Great place on a budget”

great place to stay for a traveler on a budget or someone in bangkok for a long time as they do a very reasonable monthly rate. being a serviced apartment rather than a hotel you do not get all the services you would in a hotel but i defiantly have no complaints

we had a great time during our stay in bangkok. The location of the hotel were great, really close to the railway station and buses

Cheap but clean and secure mansion”

the hotel located deep in the sub-street but easy to find. we arrived late in the evening with the next appointment at other hotel. the service desk is quite slow. we have to fill 2 document to get the key for our room. there is security door that required the security card to get in at the elevator. it's look safe for me. the room is surprised us comparing to its cost because it's very clean and in well condition. anyway, we smell something like cigaratte in the bathroom.

the only thing negative i could say about this hotel is that there are a bunch of ants living in the pipes in the bathroom, but that is pretty typical for hotels in this area. the pool on the rooftop is beautiful, and the view of the city is spectacular. i would definitely like to go back to this hotel, but maybe see if they have any ant-free rooms...

far from shopping and good staff”

This hotel is located at old city area,which is not noisy, far from shopping,and hard to find.You'd better take a taxi to get there. In Thiland taxi drivers can't speak English, so when you go out, you'd better take an address card with you, because there are Thai language on card. The staff is friendly and helpful, smile service,quick check in and out. Room is very spacious and clean,toilet is huge! We love our staying there, and we'll come back again!

Does The Job”

The hotel is pretty basic, but it serves as a roof above your head. It's very clean and the rooms are cleaned daily with new bedding and towels. The pool on the roof is really nice as well! Quite a walk from the closest MRT but in quite an interesting neighbourhood!

Great position and value for the budget traveller”

Hotel was in easy reach of a great bus service and not too far from the sky train and Mo Chit.People in hotel spoke some english and went out of their way to be helpful.Swimming pool on the roof was most welcoming and were able to see the skyline of Bkk.Transport is always available out side if you are feeling lazy to walk to the bus at the end of the Soi.

perfect place in a peaceful area”

i enjoyed my staying and i didn't payed a lot. rooms are clean and comfortable and large, staff never ignore me, breakfast is not buffet but a royal breakfast is served for every one. area is not too busy and noisy, but it is also not faraway. there are many local shops and restaurants around and it is 15 minutes on foot to mrt station.

quite unpleasant”

me and my friend stayed here at the end of our trip in thailand, the staff were quite unfriendly, we had stayed at a number of hotels in asia and the staff could not do enough for you but this was not the case at SN mansion. We had both lost our mobiles and needed to call air asia (a free number) to change our flights to which they charged us money. Any question we asked seemed to be an effort for them to help. wouldn't stay here again. Best thing about the hotel is the swimming pool, and would not class the room of old equipment they have as a gym, more of a health and safety hazard.

Fine mansion”

Its good that they upgraded my room and it equipped with a microwave but they could not provide me the plug adapter. Luckily I brought my own. The room I stayed is quite old but its worth the price. The Hotel's location is fine for those who has own a vehicle but there is a 24 hours mini mart (7-11)within 2 minutes walk.
