A little gem in a busy City”
I stayed at this Little gem for two nights before my flight back to London..I choose the Silom Serene Because i wanted to shop at the famous Patpong and Silom road night Market.I just love all the stalls and I enjoyed browsing and picking up some souveniers and the haggling to get the best price .Great Fun! The Hotel is set back from Silom Road on Soi 3.Just before the Bangkok Bang HQ.A short walk from the BTS skytrain. My Room on the 2nd Flr had a City view.I enjoyed hearing the sounds of the City outside ,But at night i slept very well in my comfortable bed .The room was large had all the usual Items for my comfort including a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.A nice big bathroom with tub and shower and nice fluffy towels. The Breakfast is served in the restuarant on ground floor .I especially liked that you could order ypour eggs what way you wanted from the Boys cooking them at the buffet.I had a lovely scrambled eggs and bacon with whole meal toast and butter. The tea was nice and strong not the usual water you get at some hotels. The breakfast was one of the best ive had in Bangkok..I also used the same restaurant for a lunch and relaxed afterwards with a coffee in the small garden and pool area. Yes i will stay at the Silom Serene again.A very nice hotel with a very pleasant staff.

Silome Serene - a boutique haven”
The Silome Serene boutique hotel was great value for money and exceeded our expectations in almost every respect. Our de-luxe room was on a non-smoking floor and faced the street. The double glazing was so effective that we were not disturbed by traffic even in the morning rush hour. The room was spacious with a desk, armchair and coffee table as well as a very comfortable King size bed. The bathroom included a powerful shower and there was always plenty of hot water. Bathrobes and slippers were provided in the bathroom as well as the usual toiletries which was a nice extra. The air conditioning was easy to use and very effective. The staff were attentive and always very helpful. Our only problem was lack of clothes hangers and when I asked we received more almost immediately. We ate in the hotel restaurant which offered a good menu selection and also found a number of excellent restaurants nearby. These were within walking distance, but taxis were also easy to find and because the hotel is situated between two Skytrain stations [and near an underground station] transport for sightseeing or eating out was easy. The hotel pool was small but well kept and a pleasant temperature. There were good changing rooms with lockers and free towels, and a selection of toiletries to use after a swim. Other facilities included a sauna which we tried and a fitness centre. The Silome Serene hotel was suggested to us by a friend and we are very happy to recommend it to others.

"Small is sometimes better"”
this is my second stay at this small, boutique hotel. it is a welcome change from the larger hotels in bangkok that are usually pacfull of package tour groups. the silom serene is popular with business people as well as holiday makers. rooms are reasonably large in size. buffet breakfast is good in pleasant breakfast room overlooking garden and pool. however, the pool is rather small. therre is also a restaurant in hotel for lunch & dinner at reasonable prices. staff very friendly. i liked the location, a soi off off silom rd, which is right by the patpong night market and a few minutes walk to saldaeng sky train. internet is free in breakfast room if you have your own laptop but a charge is made if you wish to use it in your room. strangely, the price of rooms at this hotel seem to fluctuate dramatically on internet but good value at a time when prices are not inflated. signage outside hotel needs improving for taxis, especially at night.

At last! Silom Serene rate free internet”
I used to stay at the Silom Serene frequently; the hotel is comfortable, and although only a short walk from bustling Silom Road and the Sala Daeng public transit station, it is in a relatively quiet location. I stopped coming here, though, because while most other hotels were including in-room internet access in their room charges, Silom Serene persisted in charging for it (and charging quite a lot.) As I shopped around for a Bangkok hotel during my last visit, though, I found that internet was now included in the room rate at the hotel, so I decided to stay there. THe hotel receptionist told me that the included internet access was a "special promotion." As long as the hotel keeps it, I will keep coming back. If the promotion ends, I will stay elsewhere.

Excellent stay once again”
Given the price and location of the boutique hotel, it has to be the best bet for any adventurous traveller. If your travel to Bangkok is about shopping and all day travels around the city, a comfortable bed, simplicity in accomodation and price to suit, go no further than Silom Serene. Opposite the hotel on weekdays is the day market, which is a sight to see where office workers frequent, while around the bend is the famous night market on Silom Road. Not far from the BTS the location is incredibly convenient, including a 7-11 for any late night cravings. The staff members are helpful and polite, the breakfast in the morning is never crowded and reflects peacefulness as opposed to the mad rush of other hotel offerings. The thing that appeals to me is that the hotel is small and personal, the walking distance to your room from the elevator is delightful. I have stayed in other hotels where they cater to huge numbers of rooms, that it seems like a hike to get from the elevator to the room. Overall - ideal accomodation for the tired traveller

hidden gem in silom”
Silom Serene is still my go-to hotel for short stays in Bangkok. It mixes an unusual and hard-to-find combination of access (30 seconds to the main road, 10 seconds to the nearest 7-11), as well as seclusion; somehow, even so near the main road, it manages to feel private. Silom Serene feels like a mini 5-star hotel. Service is discrete and excellent. There is only one F&B outlet, a small restaurant on the ground floor, but the local food, especially, is very good. So much so, locals come here just to eat. There is a lovely and charming little garden, and landscaping around the small pool. This is where I take my espresso every morning, and where I plan my day, as well as day-dream.

good value friendly service”
I was very pleased with my stay at the Silom Serene hotel. The staff was very accommodating, the room was big and had all the amenities one would expect even in a higher priced hotel. It was very good value for the money, in a good location, and it was very comfortable to stay there and be treated well by the staff. I have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok and this is definitely my favorite now.

Serenity Now!”
This is a great hotel little hotel located just a block off Silom Road. The thing that I remember most from my stay at this hotel is how friendly and courteous the hotel staff was. Upon check-in we were greeted at reception and provided with moist towels and a cool drink - just what we needed after a hot and hectic afternoon walking the busy streets of Silom. The rooms here are clean and reasonably priced. The on-site exercise room, pool and saunas are well maintained. Unfortunately, our stay was not quite as serene as it could have been had the hotel not been under renovation at the time of our stay. Nevertheless, once the renovations are complete the upgraded rooms will make this hotel a must stay as long as the value for the money remains consistent.

Personal care delivered with a smile”
From the moment I arrived at Silom Serene to the moment I left I felt that all the staff were genuinely interested in my well being. No question was too hard to solve. Extra services like a free shower before leaving for the airport rounded off my impression that this is a hotel where the customer's comfort is a key priority to everyone. I chose the hotel because of its location close to the Silom area and was happy to find how easy it was to use the sky train, taxis and tuk tuk to get about. The package I booked included breakfast and the Internet so as a business traveller I was able to complete my work with no interruptions. That was a real bonus. All in all a very successful stay. Thanks Silom Serene.

Completely satisfied...again”
Silom Serene presents fresh, clean and conveniently located accommodation in the active and recently much-improved Silom Road area of Bangkok. Well appointed and serviced rooms of generous size are major pluses, along with quality no-fuss meals. I have stayed here for business and with family for holidays many times over the past 10-15 years and have never been disappointed. The continuity of staff says much about their satisfaction too - always an important indicator of a well-run hotel. I look forward to being welcomed by them again!

Convenience”
Silom Serene's best feature for any tourist is its location. It smacks in the middle of the famous Silom Road where one can find tasty street food to fine dining, night market, massage house and public transport. Goes without saying, the night life in Silom Road is a place for girls, boys and gays alike! No matter how late or how drunk you hangout in the clubs and bars, you can always walk back to this clean and friendly boutique hotel called Silom Serene. But be warned! This well equipped hotel comes with free buffet breakfast whenever I stay there. However, when I book through Agoda, breakfast is not included much to my disappointment. I only realize this after when I received the paid voucher. This is the only time it was made known to me and not anywhere else at the Agoda webpages when I make my bookings.

Happy to be Back”
I have been staying a Silom Serene whenever I am in Bangkok. The location is great, between two BTS Stations. Silom Road is very busy yet the hotel is very quiet, Serene is a good name. The rooms are very well decorated, comfortable, and clean. The swimming is very nice and the garden around it make you feel as you are at a resort far from the busy business district just a block away.

Silom Serene”
I stayed at Silom Serene Hotel in October 2009. Overall a pleasant experience for myself and my girlfriend. I've stayed in several hotels in Bangkok before and would rate this as one of the nicest. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Provided metered taxis without prompting. Full English TV including sports and movies. Stereo in room. Wi-Fi was expensive. We will certainly return next time we visit Bangkok.

Hidden gem!”
This was our 2nd stay at Silom Serene. We love the location, hidden away down a side street off Silom Rd. Easy walking distance to BTS stations, bars and restaurants, Patpong night markets, Lumphini park and our dentist!! Rooms are spacious, clean, nicely decorated and have an affordable mini bar! Staff are friendly and helpful, although get overwhelmed if more than one group are waiting at the front desk! Has nice little pool with small sunbaking area, spa and gym. Restaurant is great for authentic Thai food at dinner with very reasonable prices. We will definately keep staying here :)

Clean and quiet hotel in very central location”
This was our first stay in Silom Seren Hotel. The location is very central to the main Silom road, with 2 BTS Train stations within 5 minutes walk. Surrounded by many restaurant and bar, this hotel is perfectly located. We opted for the 1 Bedroom which had a large salon and kitchen area. The room had great facilities and was very clean. The only problem is there was an adjoining room, in which the noise from the people next door was very loud. The pool area and restaurant was great. it was a nice option, that they have a rest room on the first floor for early arrival customers while you wait for your room to be ready. Also the sauna and shower room was great for us to use after we had checked out and were waiting for our late night flight departure. Overall a great value for money hotel.

Nice Boutique Hotel”
I have been at Silom Serene for at least 5 times. I wanted to find a small hotel near the skytrains and this hotel fits my requirement almost perfectly. It is located at the side road so it will take at least 5-10 minutes walk to Sala Daeng BTS station. The Patpong nightmarket is just around the corner. The biggest pulling factor for me is the staff who have treated me very well since my first visit. The hotel management have managed to retain almost the same employees throughout the years and that helps them in recognising repeat visitors. The menu at the restaurant is not extensive but the Thai dishes are good. The restaurant is quite popular with the nearby office workers and a Thai friend did memtion that the dishes are quite authentic. The fitness centre and swimming pool is small and appropriate for a hotel with only about 100 rooms. I do think that the corridors and rooms could be more brightly lit but all in all it is still one of my favourite hotels when I'm in Bangkok.

conveniently located”
I regularly stopover in Bangkok and like the Silom Serene because of the location and service. It's nearby the sky train and the central business area. I find the staff friendly and quick to respond to any questions or personal needs. The hotel is simple, not a lot of frills but always well looked after. A bonus - the restaurant on the ground floor has a very good selection of Thai food.

Good hotel, interesting and convenient location”
I have stayed at the Silom Serene many times, and look forward to returning in the future. It is a good and reasonably priced hotel, with easy access to Bangkok's good public transportation system. My main complaint is that this hotel charges (no, overcharges) for internet access. In a place where free internet comes with a cup of coffee, it's hard to understand why a hotel would try to eke a few more dollars (or Baht) out of its guests.

My Stay at Silom Serene - Bangkok”
I arrived at Silom Serene at 3 a.m. the wrong night according to my reservations. After some debate (I was in the wrong) and the hotel nearly being full, they upgraded me to a lovely spacious clean room. The hotels location is excellent as is is located right off the main road of Silom near two BTS stations. The staff is helpful and friendly and the morning breakfast has a very good selection for their international guests.

Lovely hotel, great location and friendly service”
Last time I was in Bangkok. I got robbed by a taxi driver named lucky. I told myself not to ever come back here again. I've changed my mind as this is my honeymoon. I want to give Bangkok another chance. Staying at the silom serene was the best choice. We love the busy area of the market and at the same time we love the quiet when we are back to our hotel. Staffs were very friendly and knowledgable. This was my best trip so far. I would go back and I would stay at the serene hotel again.
