Hidden Little Gem in Chongnonsi/Sathorn ”

'Yellow Ribbon Hills' has a romantic story behind the name and I had a relaxed comfortable stay at 'home away home'. After been travelling for years, I personally prefer a boutique style&sized Apartment/Aparthotel in BKK over Hotel, because you don't share the facilities with some hundreds or thousands of people thus less party-tourists damaging the place, but more of family, couples, and solo travellers at homely environment. There's a whole block of Cafes/Restaurants in walking distance from YRH, cafe PAUL can be found at Chongnonsi Bts walkway area where it connects you to an another building, only 3rd stop to Siam, not far from Zenred hair salon well known amongst ex-pats&tourists by taxi, Australian Embassy, Austrian Embassy, Malaysian Embassy, they're all located nearby (41-100baht depends on the driver). Above all, Front-Desk, Housekeeping, Restaurant Staffs were working as One Team, and therefore, quality of customer service was consistent, courteous, friendly, and very helpful. When staffs are happy, customers return generally and that's what I intend to do on my next BKK visit.

Very friendly and good deal for price”

We stayed 5 nights in Bangkok, and yellow ribbons hills made it a very comfortable and affordable stay. The reception made a small mistake at check in by giving us the wrong room, but when we realized it and brought it to their attention they immediately put us in the correct booking. Their English isn't fluent, but you get by. We did not try the small restaurant downstairs, it seemed a little over priced, and anyway we rather have the Bangkok street food and Silom road with many restaurants and street food vendors is a 5-10min. cab ride from the hotel. Overall a great place to stay.

Good Hotel with very friendly helpfull staff”

i was very satisfied with my stay at the yellow ribbon hills, everyone of the staff made my stay very pleasurable, nothing was too much trouble and even when i left and and had left a personal item in the room the staff contacted me and this is now being returned to myself, i mentioned on leaving that i would use this facility again for my next visit to bangkok be it personal or business orientated, and can recommend this to anyone with complete confidence that they would be as happy as i was.

The staff are All very friendly and accommodating. We did have some issue when we checked in but the staff made all the difference during our stay. Pui one of the manager is very professional and quickly solved our challenges. The night guy Joe is very attentive. He helped us quickly solve the Internet connection issue. The front desk agents are super helpful every time we needed something during our 6 days of stay. The room is very nice and spacious. There is a washing machine and drier on site👌 overall we had a great experience at Yellow ribbon hotel. Will definitely recommend 😊

the yellow ribbon hills executive mansion was a great find for the price! it is located in a very nice area very close to transportation and a great value. the room was very spacious and i got a free upgrade when checking in.

Great, huge apartment in a good location”

We (two people) stayed at the Yellow Ribbon for two nights. First, they had mixed up our booking and we were accidentally given a room on a smokers floor. The apartment was dark and smelly. After complaining the staff - even though their English skills were not very good - was very eager to make it up to us and relocated us to an apartment on a non-smokers floor. This place was awesome: spacious, nicely furnished, a great living room, a bathroom and a seperate toilet. We could buy food and store it in the fridge. WiFi connection was a bit weak, especially in the bedroom. We had a very pleasent stay and would definitly book it again.

Big Room; great staff/service”

The Yellow Ribbon is more of a serviced apartment building than a hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the Chong Nonsi BTS station, but in a quiet residential area of Bangkok. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are large (bedroom + sitting room), but a bit dated -- the tv was small (21" tube type) and the refrigerator did not work properly. Breakfast was focused on the Japanese guests, with limited selections, but ok. All-in-all a good choice for a family or for a longer stay. We would probably stay there again if our bangkok favorites were not available.

Amazing ”

I worked in Bangkok for 20 and this is my first visit in 5 years as a retired person. I am so comfortable here that I have extended my stay from 5 days to 1 month. I was offered a great deal that was very flexible. Everything is clear and I was even given a print out of what was agreed. From the outside security guards, room maids, restaurant staff, the amazing front desk girls to the management everyone is so helpful and nothing is to much trouble. The rooms are spacious with a living room, bedroom, bathroom and small kitchen with electric hob. The location is quiet, yet only a 5 minute walk to the BTS skytrain. There are plenty of open air bars with good food and live music for a fraction of the price you would pay in the tourist area's.

Friendly helpful apartments”

the apartment was great and comfortable. not as conveniently located as i thought but walkable to the bts.the apartments and restaurant are mainly set up for the japanese visitor so as australians we could have done with a toaster in the kitchen and a little more western type food on the menu, but what was there was ok and the coffee was good, although they had no cakes available the day we had afternoon tea in the coffee shop. very comfortable for a long stay (we were there for 9 days) and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. a bit of a language barrier in the restaurant but we got around that successfully. i can recommend yellow ribbon.

Pleasant Surprise!”

We stayed here as one of Agoda's Mystery Hotel purchases for a recent Bangkok staycation. We were not at all sure what we had done! The hotel was a bit hard to find for our cab driver and it seems to cater to Japanese clientele, so that made us feel a bit out of water at first. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly and the room/suite was great!

NIce hotel, big suites and near the BTS”

This was a great hotel, but a little difficult for our driver to find. The rooms were all suites with small kitchens and a great value for the price. It is about a 10 minute walk to the BTS, which is convenient. The hotel is definetely geared towards Japanes tourists, but overall it was a nice place. The sushi in the restaurant was great and it was a very reasonable price.

Great for Japanese business traveler”

the room layout is great, dividing into three separate living spaces; a bedroom, a living room with tv, and kitchen area thus giving a very spacious feel. the room was clean and elegant, with dark wood floors, a full bathtub also helpful. staff spoke little english but enough thai for us to get by and they were very helpful when i asked for late check out. they also helped get us to the airport. had been planning on using the airport link (the subway out to the aiport) but a red shirt demonstration interferred so they arranged a cab with a driver who used the meter (a special rarity in bangkok). if i were doing business on an extended stay and not too concerned with tourist amenities, i'd definitely stay here again.

Affordable, Convenient and Comfortable”

Very nice staff. They allowed us to have early checkin. We booked at a presidential suite. The room is very spacious. Perfect location for the price. I will book again on this place.

Close to MRT and Patpong Night Market”

If you are looking to stay close to almost everything, I think this hotel would be perfect (also any other hotels around). Room for 2 was very spacious with kitchen and living room. However, to add a guest cost another 700 baht, which is kind of ridiculous when looking at the size of the hotel. Hotel is walking distance from MRT and night market. The rooms were fairly clean and I had no problems with it. Recommended for quick night rest in Bangkok.

Great affordable place in Bangkok”

Great affordable place to stay in Bangkok. The room I stayed in was very spacious with a small kitchenette, nice bathroom and bedroom. Very clean and staff is also very polite. Location is great, 5 minutes from metro and close to some bars and restaurants as well. Also a very cozy and busy street with street food around. Would definitely stayed there again. Just sometimes you can hear people talking in the corridor as walls are not too thick I guess.

Exceptional”

Been to Bangkok and have stayed in so many places; but, this is one of the better apartments to stay. Many Japanese travellers seem to stay here, so cleanliness is foremost and is noticeable. Nice size rooms, facilities fine to cook simple meals and the place is slightly dated but absolutely fine. Close to Chong Nonsi BTS station, a big Grocery store and central Silom area. Quiet and easily accessed...will stay here again next time.

Great accommodation close to city and sites”

Great price for family of four, king size bed, a KS in main room and a second bed in living area. Good sized dining/lounge room with kitchen dining. Two TV's and second toilet. Kitchen was handy, needed some stools to sit around bench and some chairs around small table would provide convenient place to sit and eat as we all like to eat together. A/c worked well and toilet did leak at base. Friendly staff and great breakfast as some foods (most) Japanese based however, plenty of choice for everyone. Thank you for making outlet stay a stress free time.

Excellent”

Central location close to Sathorn Square. Spacious and comfortable rooms + friendly staff. Definitely worth considering if you are looking for a place to stay in that area that has a car park.

Perfect for our Bangkok get-away”

Business suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable! Nice bath tub, shower and bidet. Shower gel and shampoo/conditioner smell nice. We like that it’s older yet we’ll taken care of. Location is convenient for exploring yet not not noisy at all. Staff are friendly and helpful.
