Great location - friendly staff”

This hotel is conveniently located near the Kalare Night Bazaar, one of the busiest and most diverse markets in Chiang Mai. The staff is friendly and helpful. I suggest skipping paying for breakfast. The hotel breakfast is skimpy at best, and there are numerous other places nearby.

Great location with reasonable price”

the location of the hotel is good and the price is reasonable.the rooms are clean and the bed is nice to sleep in. the popular chiang mai night bazaar is just nearby.after the day of walking there is a massage service on the ground floor of the hotel and one will be able to have a good foot massage.

near mosque and halal food”

Night Bazaar place location are perfect for us Muslim family travelling with young kids. We stay in a suite room spacious for all 4 of us. Famous Khao Soi islam are located just beside, Khao soi Feung Fah and a few more halal restaurant. On Friday, halal street bazaar will complete all your crave for halal food. Prayer calls can be heard, not as loud as those music from the clubs/restaurants nearby, also night market could be a bit noisy, probably you will wake up if you are really a light sleeper. Breakfast was very basic, but good enough... Anyway for us was comfortable stay, definitely will stay again in the future.

Sweet Suite”

Have stayed here before for a night and decided to give a suite a try since we were going to be staying longer. Room was very spacious and had a big fridge and nice seating area to watch TV and eat. bathroom was very large as well and had all the fixings like shampoo, toothbrushes, a shaving kit, etc. it's not the fanciest hotel in Chiang Mai, but its location is fantastic and everything is nearby. Friendly staff. Free breakfast is a bit if a letdown. Don't let it be why you chose to stay here. Better yet, just sleep in and get something to eat someplace else. That said, the hotel is a good value for the price.

Perfect location”

Location was perfect. Night bazaar just outside the hotel. Another market just across the street with food and live music which was amazing. Nearby other bazaars as well. Mcdonalds, Starbucks and Hard Rock Cafe just down the road. The room was spacious. A bit dark but still ok. Bed was comfy, just needed better pillows. TV had some english channels. Bathroom was an ok size. Staff were quite friendly. Massage parlour just at the lobby. Overall was a good stay. Would definitely recommend!

Good place great price”

it was really fabulous, that the hotel offers a very good price by the great location. receptionists were very nice and helpful. room was spacious and clean. even the hotel was next to the night bazaar, it was very quiet in the night. breakfast including for example toast, margarine, jam and caffee or tea was simple but good enough.

Central location and helpful staff.”

This is my first time here and I certainly say this is a good hotel despite being old and tired looking. We arrived quite early about 9.30am and the receptionist checked us in as the rooms were ready by then . She was really nice and polite and help us with the the passwords/wi-fi thing. Thank goodness the rooms are clean, though old, but I noticed the management did a good repainting and minor refurbishment job in them. Good job. Just step outside the hotel and we are at the very central of Night Bazaar! Everything else are walking distance, with fast food joints, local restaurants, massage centres and more night markets hidden behind the main road. Breakfast nothing to shout about but basic. They even offer free internet usage at the lobby area (PC). We will come back to stay here again.

Good location & good free WiFi, clean enough”

Good location for those who like shopping and eating. It is within Night Bazaar area, and if you can also walk 1km to I guess below 2km, you can also walk to day markets (Warorot Market, Ton Lam Yai Market), Saturday night walking street (Wua Lai Road), Sunday night street (after Tapae Gate). Good free WiFi in-room. For a simple affordable hotel, the room and washroom are clean enough, and the room provides 2 bottles of water, 2 large towels, 2 soaps, toilet roll, TV. Room facilities are in good working condition and well-designed for easy use, eg. air-con, door-lock, hot-water shower. The air-con and shower facilities are from reputable Japanese brands. The staff mentioned most nights could be noisy with music from pubs nearby. I found it tolerable as I stayed only 2 nights, and the Sunday night was quiet probably because I guess the night action for Sunday is further at the Sunday night market and not this area. I stayed in the separate building which has cheaper rooms. If you want more facilities, eg. in-room telephone, security guard downstairs, breakfast, pay more to stay in the main building, which I guess is still affordable.

Great value stay”

This was very good value, we paid backpacker prices but got a private room which was a good size for two (and lots of shopping). It was simple, but housekeeping came every day and the air con etc was in good working order. Security guards were a friendly presence, reception staff helped book drivers etc. The location was very good, walking distance to markets and other Shopping and temples. The street was a little crowded at night but all the action is right at the doorstep, with taxis always out the front. The only downside would be that the pipes smelled a bit odd in the bathroom, and the mosque behind the hotel blasted loud chanting at 4.30 am on weekdays. Endearing the first day, but got a little much after a week! Taxis also struggle to find the exact location on the block, so carry the address or tell them that it is opposite the boxing/muay thai, or at Kalare Night Bazaar opposite Starbucks.

step away from night bazzar and nice staffs”

It's right at the night bazaar. I had bad experience in Bangkok hotel before that so when I saw from outside, I was worried but when you enter the place, it's clean, the size of room is good enough for two of us and it's step away from Night bazaar. You can also book tour or rent a bike at the travel agent inside the hotel. We have surveyed and the price is the same and some is cheaper. The laundry in the hotel is cheap and can finish in one day. The staffs are helpful eventhough we are misunderstood because of the language.

Exceptional”

Night Bazaar Place has the atmosphere and environment of a traditional family operated business with no frills or modern day facilities. It is a honest budget hotel, clean and a location close to many attractions.

Excellent”

If location and price is your main criteria, then look no further. Very near to bazaars, around 10 min walk to Waroros Market, lots of cheap massage parlors (there is even one literally next to the lobby), got 7-Eleven nearby. However the walls are not soundproof, we could hear our next door guests talking and crying, and sometimes also the music from the bazaar. Our bathroom is not really clean (there is a weird smell in the bathroom). You also have to pay a deposit (ranging from 50 to 1000 baht) if you want to borrow the hotel's adapter or iron, and you have to pick it up yourself from the lobby. There is only one elevator working, so you may have to spend some time waiting for the elevator.

great location yet quiet rooms”

location: located right in night bazaar. everything is so accessible. food, shopping and transport. staff: friendly staff. they allows me to have late checkout till 2.30pm. room: booked a suite room with a king size bed. but we added a extra bed at 300baht/night. room is quite spacious. there is no water boiler in the room but you can call the reception and it will be deliver to you in 5mins time. massage: there is a massage parlor at the entrance of the hotel. 1 hr massage at 180baht. i don't find the massage good, they are too gentle. you can get better massage else where at cheaper price around. price: quite reasonable room rate considering good location and big room.

Location, location, location!”

Our stay was great. We stayed here for the last two nights of our trip because we wanted to do some clothes and gift shopping before leaving Chiang Mai. We also celebrated New Years Eve in a small, open air bar across from Le Meridian down the road. It was a great atmosphere. We could see two fireworks displays. Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable, if feeling a little bit aged. For the price and location though, it is fantastic.

Check in and check out was quick and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. Hot water worked for the shower. Tariff was reasonable and we felt good value for the money. We would stay there again and recommend friends and family as a great choice to be right 'in the action'. We heard one man complain because of the Muay Thai stadium noise which is nearby - fights are not nightly so it's not big deal - - it didn't bother me as I believe if you stay in a city hotel, expect you'll have the city's noises. All in all, happy with the Night Bazaar Place.

Basically this was third time I went to Chiang Mai but this the first time I stay at Night Bazaar Place. However hotel charge is cheap and feel old in the picture, but it was surprise me the room is good maintain and clean.

This hotel is budget friendly, clean, and good locations. The night bazaar market is in front of the hotel. The road is busy at night and dead during the day. There's a boxing stadium and outdoor restaurant behind the hotel. Walking distance to Sunday walking street market.

the location is excelent for muslim traveler because near masjid and halal restaurant, and near night bazar chiang mai its surrondede by night market. The price is cheap but good value for money
