Very nice stay”

We enjoyed our stay at Baan Warabordee. The room was quiet, clean and spacious, had a small balcony with a small rack where you could dry your clothes. Free breakfast was a nice touch and you could enjoy it in the pretty garden. Staff was friendly, helped us book a tour outside Chiang Rai. In the city we've visited the golden clock, the night/weekend bazaar/market, flower festival, some temples, cat cafe, all by walking. There are also bars and restaurants in the neighborhood and if you want to take the bus to Chiang Mai, the bus station is also very close. If you want to eat the best soup ever, called khao soi, don't miss Pho Chai restaurant - around 10 minutes walking from the accommodation.

Great Stay in Chiang Rai”

We had a lovely stay at the Baan Warabordee in Chiang Rai. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The garden was peaceful and enjoyed by our children. The staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for us during our stay. Lovely place. Great location.

A Gem In The Middle of Chiang Rai”

We stayed at Baan Warabordee for 2 nights & it was an excellent base to get around the city centre. The owner is a friendly & accommodating guy. Together with the staff in the morning who helps to prepare breakfast. Room & toilet is clean. Towels provided smell so fresh & nice. Our rooms come with a balcony which is separated by doors. Wished they had eggs for breakfast. Otherwise, it was still alright to fill your stomach in the morning. Plenty of eateries nearby to satiate your hunger later. For Muslim travellers, a Halal (Sareeneen) Restaurant is just a few minutes away, behind the old bus station.

Cosy and friendly”

Baan Warabordee brought us a pleasant stay in Chiang Rai. This house is old, cosy and well-equipped. The mini garden is a good place to drink and breath fresh air either early morning or late night.

Good place in Chiang Rai”

The Baan Warabordee is very close to the bus station and night market area, yet on a quiet street with low traffic. The room was clean and everything worked. There is a nice garden area to sit in for breakfast. Breakfast is minimal but adequate, the coffee was excellent.

Our favourite city hotel yet!”

This was an amazing space - with a great private balcony on the top floor. It's incredibly central, yet on a quiet street so no noise, but only 2 minutes walking from the centre of Chiang Rai The staff were great - no issues and very helpful. Free breakfast was great - we'd definitely stay again when we return to Chiang Rai

Very nice guest house”

Relaxing setting and quiet location”

Baan Warabordee Guesthouse (as it is calls itself - not a hotel)is in a quiet location in a small poorly lit road, about 200 mts to the main Phaholythin road and then a further 100 mts to night bazaar and bus station. There are wide stairs but no elevator so avoid the 3rd floor unless you really like climbing stairs. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful and the garden setting is nice and well maintained. There is off street car parking for about 4 or 5 cars available and the family allowed my rented bicycle to be stored under cover in their private garage area. The rooms in the guesthouse are spacious, clean and reasonably maintained but rather basic. The power points are located in unusual and difficult to use locations but lighting is quite good. The bathrooms are an open wet area with individual hot water units. There are very limited cable TV channels – Star movies is the only English channel. There is a good sized wardrobe and writing desk with mirror. The free WiFi reception was adequate on the second level. The management turn it off at night and then on again in the morning. There is a PC and printer available for guests to use free of charge in the reception area. Printing costs 5 baht per page. Tea and coffee available for free each morning in the reception area.

Lovely hotel in quiet surroundings”

This hotel has lovely rooms and it one of the quiet side streets of Chiang Rai. Easy walking distance from the bus station and to the night market. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again!

Quiet, clean and good location!”

Due to circumstances we had to shorten our stay in chiang rai......the management was very helpful and didn't charge us a cancellation fee, and let us use the room till our evening flight with out any charge. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to chiang rai. The room was clean, quiet and centrally located.

Great Location ”

The hotel is in a great location in Chiang Rai, the night bazaar is a 5 minute walk, the clock tower a 3 min walk. The air con was a little bit noisy at times and the drains in the bathroom were very pungent at night. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, it was very spacious and the fridge was very handy. The staff were very helpful.

Excellent”

Walking distance to night bazaar/bus terminal (10minutes) and walking street (15-20minutes) on weekend. Quiet and nice neighbourhood. 1 full day local tours around the chiang rai region available from 900baht.

The hotel is nicely decorated and very cozy. The location is good. It's in a peaceful part of Chiang Rai.

Relaxing”

The place is walking distance to the Bus terminal 1 and the night bazaar. They offer limited but good breakfast, just enough before you head off to see the beautiful Chiang Rai. My room was located on the ground floor with a small balcony. It was quite old but big and clean while the bathroom works fine with hot water. My only worry was the big glass sliding door of the room with a tiny lock and a balcony on the first floor (with a separate door with another lock) that can be easily breached when you climb on the balcony. But thank goodness, it was totally safe and everything went fine. The food options are available and plenty in the night bazaar area. The staff are really nice but only stays until 10pm and comes back the next day. So if you are leaving early the next day (like myself, I left around 6am), ask them for the deposit refund the day before you leave. Other than that, the place is so relaxing and I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Very pleasant and during my next visit to Chiang Rai I would consider to stay at the same hotel again.

Nice hotel in good location”

This was a nice, clean hotel and very good value for money. It was only a short walk from the bus station, located in a quiet street near the centre of Chiang Rai. No breakfast is available but there are several good cafes very near by.

We had a lovely stay at Baan Warbordee. Very convenient location near bus station and short walk to night market. Very clean, simple style accommodation, comfortable bed, just what we needed after a long flight. Highly recommended!

Great location, friendly staff, decent basic room”

Baan Worabordee is in a central location in Chiang Rai, right behind the bus station. It has more of a guesthouse feel than that of a hotel, staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, much like the town itself.

Great Stay”

Was transferred to a sister guest house across the street due to a booking glitch between Agoda & Baan Warabordee. Nonetheless, friendly staff that provides good service. Near to Night Bazaar but the walk out to the main road may a tad long for some. I reckon about 100m.
