An extraordinary warmest services and facilities. ”

I am Thai and I made it twice visit the hidden gem, I stayed 5 nights in a cozy tropical bungalow just 2 metre right to the beach of Haad Tian Beach. I spent apprx. 400 baht(15US) to get a beach front bungalow to be honest event I am thai but I could not find a valuable place like this. It’s a heaven stuff for thai people too. The resort provided very comfortable facilities such as free swimming pool, free Wifi in the common area, local produce restaurant where you can get a fresh ingredients and sea food from a fisherman village, private beach. The resort provides free pick up transfer from the pier following a traditional Thai gesture when you have a guest visit your house. The bungalow is cleaned and fresh in beautiful garden and provided hammock in the terrace in front of bungalow. The best thing, why i choose this place because a warmest welcome and Thai hospitality style provided to me, all staffs are thais (speak good English) where I feel very safe and comfortable as home away from home compare with other places, they employed Burmese staff and I feel uncomfortable and didn’t trust with their service. I am very much enjoy slow life here, being lazy in the pool, reading my book at the beach and great place to watch the sunset with a panoramic horizon view of Angthong Marine Park. Khun Daeng is resort management, he’s a fantastic guy who understand the services. He created an unforgettable experience for me for example, we went to morning market or night market together to buy fresh seafood then bring it back to resort for a unique friendly dining on the beach with the owner and management team. Someday, we did Bonfire with BBQ style and drinks together with staff here on the beach. What I found beyond a part of tourist is being a family and friendship of Haad Tian Beach Resort. The resort is a 10 minute walking distance from the main road and half way between Salad beach and Haad Yao Beach. its convenice if you want to go out.

stunning hotel & lovely sea view”

Haad Tian Beach Resort is a perfect hotel to stay. Good for couples & families. You can relax in a hammock in the beach garden while reading an interesting book. Or you can have fun with friends in the nice swimming pool. The only downfall to this location is that the beach is not very good for swimming because of sea hedgehogs. There are plenty of bars & local restaurants there. All in all, very lovely.

Your own thai paradise”

Your own thai-paradise! Intimate family-runned resort with private beach and nice bungalows. All the comforts available: thai massages, good food (european and thai), very friendly staff (Chang and his family are great!), air conditioner, taxi services, touristic info and organized tours. The position is perfect if you want to visit Koh Phangan west side (20 min of bike from Thong Sala, 10 from Chaloklum). Not the best if you just want to party in Haad Rin (you better not!).

Very nice bungalows with sea view”

I was there during the Full Moon Party and I wanted a quiet place : I found a good place with Haad Tian Beach Resort. It is in the north so you must have a motorbike if you want to visit the island and go to different beaches. For thoses who want to party, there are cheap taxi available from the resort.

Really nice guest house, quiet location”

i would definitely recommend haad tian to anyone wanting to visit koh phangan but wanting to avoid the party vibe of haad rin and the full moon shenanigans. the staff were really nice and helpful and the hotel provides a taxi service s that you can easily get into the thick of it when you want to go and join the party. the food was really nice, and the beach is real good for snorkeling as well. awesome!

Pleasant stay at Haad Tian Beach Resort”

We stayed a little bit over a week at the Haad Tian Beach Resort in one of the entree level bungalows. The surroundig was pretty tranquil. When we wanted more action we rented the resort's scooter. The Thai and international dishes were very good although not the cheapest on the island. The staff was cool. Some days more enthausiastic than others. The pool is very nice and the pool area offers enough space to enjoy the sun. We recommand this place for people who want to relax on the island.

Perfect for quiet travel and private”

I had an amazing time here. It of course depends on what you want, and I found what I was looking for at Haad Tian: Quiet, relaxed, private beach, few people, good food, great staff, private comfy bungalow sea side, close to town but not in it. plus the price for what I got out of this couldn't be better! Highly recommended when you are looking for the same thing.

Fabulous location and delicious food”

at the end of a whirlwind trip around the world in 80 days, haad tian was exactly what i needed! it was quiet, secluded and relaxing. the frozen margaritas that deng makes are divine! the bungalow was basic (no flush for the toilet, cold water only), but it was comfortable enough and i had fabulous views. the sunsets at haad tian are a daily event as everyone turns out to watch. well worth a visit if you're looking for a quiet escape.

Great location very quiet”

haad tian is beautiful! quiet location, the beach is very clean and the people that run the business make you feel relaxed and welcomed! rooms are tidy, but small. all look out over the sea with your own personal hammock on the decking you can't go wrong. the only downfall to this location is that the nearest shop is about a 20 minute walk up a small mountain. although the resort offers almost everything you could need anyway. bikes are available to rent but be careful going up and down the drive way. all in all, very lovely.

Stunning sunsets”

The resort provides value for money although it does feel a bit dated. The pool is excellent but the rooms could do with a bit of a face lift. We had a slight leak in the bathroom and the air conditioning wasn't the best. The beach was quite dirty with a lot of debris washed up, we were told by the staff that this was common for the time of year (August) because of the prevailing winds and was better in peak season. The food was fine, although slightly more expensive than you can get at the surrounding beaches (Haad Yao or Haad Salad. They provide a free transfer from Tong Sala and can provide a taxi if necessary again this was slightly more expensive than the main towns but nice and convenient. The resort is a 10 minute walk front the road down a rough path which may bother some. We walked to both Haad Yao (25 mins) and Haad Salad (20 mins) the paths to both are a bit hilly. The staff were extremely helpful at all times and gave us a lot of advice on things to do. The best bit however where the sunsets which were magical it is worth staying for those alone.

private bay, quiet and beautiful”

The resort was very pretty and private but it meant that it was difficulty to get out and about if you didn't have your own transport. Haad Yau is a ten minute walk away on a cut through track ( walking only ) unfortunately because of rain at night and a very steep dark hill we didn't venture out to other restaurants but it wasn't necessary as the food from the restaurant was amazing with a large menu. It felt like the type of restaurant where food was made with care and not just for profit and some if the best food we ate all holiday was eaten here. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would recommend it if you want a chilled tranquility.

Lovely place, amazing sunset view, familylike atmo”

the hotel is far enough from the hardly standable haad rin and pretty close to the beautiful parts of the island. about 12 km to thongsala where you'll find the night market so no problem with a scooter which you can rent at the resort uncomplicated and at a fair price. stuff is very friendly and the pool is really lovely. beach is not the best one but a good one (salad beach) is very close. the cheapest bungalows are a little bit too small and wifi ist only in the public areas but thaty probably the only "complaint" i would have about the resort.

Relaxation, quiteness and good vibes”

In a very party oriented city like ko phangan, it was nive to stay away from the center, surrounded by peaceful beaches and nices places to eat. The hotel facilities are spacious and intimate, leaving you with plenty of private moments in the beach or in the pool. Restaurant was nice, much variety, with a inconsistent quality though, but is really inviting because you can seat in front of e swimming pool. It is a 7 out of 10. Beautiful sunsets, and lovely staff. It is a hoel that invites you to stay there mostpf the time, because the road to get in and out of there is a tough one, and beause the place is so comfortable and cosy. The room is minimalistic, but it suits the environment. Staying indoors is the last thing you want to do in such a nice environment.

Very quiet and peaceful”

my husband and i stayed 3 nights total. we have to extend another night because we just had a motorbike accident so we stayed around the resort probably for all 3 nights couldn't go out. it is out from the city and beach area but the resort has a beautiful awesome pool facing the sea, the water is shallow like a kiddy pool during low tide and it is just a beautiful site!! the staff that works there are awesome!! they are like one big family so helpful and kind. we would hang out by the pool in the dining area most of the time to get the wireless and when we are back in the room my husband plays the guitar and i would swing on the hammock~ we had a fan room in the middle of july and i wouldn't switch it to an air-con room if it was free! the weather was so pleasant it wasn't hot, the weather was just amazing! i would definitely stay there again!

Great value hotel with helpful staff.”

after arriving at the resort we were upgraded from a fan room to an air con room for the same price. the beds were huge but had an uncomfortable piece of wood down the centre - made from 2 single beds! staff were very helpful when trying to book trips, taxis etc. we liked the location because it was right on the beach but a bit away from the main pub strip. we were a bit disappointed when the bar/restaurant was closed at 9pm on a wednesday night but luckily the resort next door still had a bar on the beach open.

best pool, great views of and walking on the beach”

the beach isnt so much for swimming here, but you can walk around and watch it. this resort is the only one on this beach. the resort is nice, has some swings in the trees, a great communal restaurant area, no wifi in the rooms (which we like!) and famiillies to stay. It is very nice and quiet.

Lovely and nice”

We stayed for a few nights, but we had to upgrade the room, because the cheapest room had no hot water. The Resort is very nice and next to the beach. The bungalows are okay... the bathroom could be cleaner and better. We didn't like the 5 dogs in the resort, because at night they're sleeping on the restaurant seats and benches. And there was also dog-doo in the grass and nobody cleaned it up for days....

Quiet and peaceful”

A great location on the north west of koh phangan. A secluded little bay away from the crowds yet an easy run with a scooter to other beaches on the island. Nice by the pool as well. Bungalow was a no frills one with the bonus of a hammock to swing in and read a book in while watching the sun go down

Not the best beach, but definitely the best resort”

the beach wasn't that nice, but the pool and the view made up for it. great, relaxing place if you want to be away from the noise of haad rin.

A lovely stay”

You will need a motorbike if you are staying at this resort, you can easily hire them from the reception, it's the best way to get around the island but also it's easier to get up and down the hill to get to your stay. It's a rocky beach, but it's a 5 minutes walk to another beach you can swim in and the pool is nice, best for children. You will be able to find a lot of nice beaches on the scooter. The staff was also friendly and we got a decent deal on our room.
