Perfect quiet stay but still amazing location”

The hotel was roughly a 20 minute walk from the main pier which was ideal because it was very quiet during the evenings. The only time it was loud was due to rain and thunder/lightning but it wasn’t a problem. The staff were friendly and offered us lemon tea when we arrived, they were always asking how we were and what we were doing for the day. The food at the hotel was delicious and even gave us a complementary cinnamon bun when we finished our meal. The room had aircon and was lovely and cool all of the time which gave us some of our best sleep since we have been in Thailand. Would definitely recommend to everyone, we had the most loveliest stay and was sad to leave.

Affordable, comfortable, friendly!”

Everything here was great! We had a small balcony which was a plus. Good location. The room stayed nice and cool, no need for an AC. Nice cafe & restaurant downstairs. Would recommend.

Exceptional”

They are super friend. One of my friend came to visit us and we wanted that she stay for one night they put a small mattress in our room for only 200baht. A little bit noisy but if you keep the bathroom door close it is perfect. Perfect location near the pier walkable distance!

The place is actually very nice situated, but a bit far away from nightlife, in case you have a bike nothing is a problem, even the walk is not that bad. Place is clean and has beautiful terrace where you can chill. Near by hostel is the best restarant in Koh Tao called Tukta - best massaman curry I had in Thailand. No problem with personal stuff as well. I can recommend.

Perfect staff, facilities, bed, etc. Just a bit far from downtown but if you don't mind walk 15 minutes is a perfect place. Staff also is wonderful.

Enough close to the pier to go there walking and at same time situated on the south,nice to go to the best beaches. Everything clean,many showers and big rooftop nice to stay in. Rally good mattress,best in 30 days in Thailand. Shame it doesn’t have kitchen.

Nice and supportive staffs!”

There are very kind and helpful staffs in Namhashin and the cafeteria on the first floor is awesome to grab your breakfast! You can get a decent cup of coffee and hot meals, too. It is near Chalok area where is not busy but quite than Sairee area. In turn, I you want to rest and dive, I highly recommend this guest house to stay :)

Good hostel,bad location ”

It's a good hostel, great wifi comfortable beds, friendly staff. But the location is bad. But you can still walk everywhere. 10min to the beach, 15-20 to pier, 30 to the partyarea.

Nice place away from town but close to the beaches from the south. You can buy a good breaksfast there. the staff is friendly. And there are many good options for dinner around.

Good hostel,bad location ”

It's a good hostel, beds and wifi are great, a nice rooftop to hangout on. And they give you a map and a lot of tips when you check in. The trubbel is the location, 10min to the beach is alright. But it's 30min walking to the party area. You can still walk that's what I did but it's a long walk.

Not a terrible place. ”

The rooms were great. Food was nice. The main owner was helpful and friendly. The girl at reception was not very nice, not helpful, and was very cold towards me for some reason.

Not recommended. They don't care about safety of your belongings!”

- after cleaning they don't lock our room! For many hours everyone could open room and took all our thing - documents, moneys... - they force me to pay 500 thb deposit for key and they don't write that on agoda. If I new that I will find another palce. If you lose key you will pay. If some one steal all your things they are not responsible even if they dont lock room. They care only for them selves. - very very hot in room all time - very expensive resteurant + clean room, good price, hot water, blacony, fridge

Cheap Stay on Koh Tao”

I have stayed at Namhasin House (in the fan dorm) on two different trips to Koh Tao. Through Agoda the price is hard to come by on the Island, and for a cheap backpacker like myself who wanted to save all my money for Scuba Diving and Yoga it was perfect. This hostel is located in Chalok which is a quieter part of the Island, but still close to everything you could need. The fans in the room did enough to keep me cool during the night, and since there is no hot water you can always just cool off by taking a shower. The staff is really nice as well.

Newly remodeled room that's close to a beach”

This hostel has been newly remodeled, so everything is new- new beds, new toilet, new floor, etc. The rooms are somewhat small, but you get a private room. There are several beaches in Koh Tao, but this is just a short walk from a beautiful, quiet beach. It is also a 5-15 minute walk from the center of town. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. It is also not next to the noisy bars, so you can get a good night's sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions. There is no continental breakfast or coffee. There is no computer provided for internet, so bring your own.
