Great Location, in the middle of Mae Hong Son town”

Amazing!! it has been my 3rd time for visiting Mae Hong Son and been staying at the same hotel.. it's the most decent hotel in Mae Hong Son and located in the middle of the town where the night market and food bazaar are just few meters away..

Low priced but good hotel”

This is our second stay at this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone coming to Mae Hong Song for shopping or sightseeing. Good restaurants near this location. They have their own tour service and are near other tour companies for trips to wats and villages. Good breakfast and friendly staff. English speaking front desk. Great value for the money. Rooms basic but clean and they have a refrigerator and television. On site restaurant food is okay+.

In the middle of town”

I liked the perfect location of this hotel which is right in the middle of town. I was also surprised that part of the restaurant was turned at night into a trendy disco - in fact the only one in Mae Hong Son, and I liked the live music here ; no effect on the tranquillity of the room where we staid. If you are on your own wheels, there is a tiny parking for your car - probably full if you arrive too late. Also, rooms a little bit to small.

Center of Mae Hong Son town”

This is my 4th stay at Baiyoke Chalet. I really love the location, right in the middle of the town. Just opposite of the entrance of Night Market and Post Office. just few shops aways from 7-Eleven. Very good location at the right price. Everything is within the walking distance.

located in strategic place”

nice, friendly and helpful staff. hotel is surrounded by mountain and pagodas and very near to Mae Hong song lake. It has lively night concert/club after 9:30 pm.

Excellent”

the room was clean ans spacious and bed was as well good. however there was no hot water in the shower. breakfast was included nit was not of any quality. in general i enjoyed my stay in Mae Hong Song

Super convenient, efficient staff”

Great location in the center of town. Aging hotel, but staff are kind and attentive. There is a range of breakfast options. Air con in some rooms may need to be replaced; mine worked fine. Convenient hotel!

Good Hotel”

Perfectly located by the night market, restaurants, post office, and main temples/lake, the Baiyoke Chalet was amazing. The hotel is nicely decorated, the courtyard upstairs was beautiful, and the room was great. Everything was perfectly clean and the room was very spacious with a desk, closet, mini fridge, TV, and plenty of space to walk around. The a/c was very cold, the wifi was fine, and the bathroom was nice. The restaurant downstairs was good and the 30 Baht Thai food lunch specials were a great deal. Overall, this place was an excellent value and the best in town, as far as we could tell.

Nice Hotel at the Heartr of Town ”

The hotel is at the center of town. From airport, it takes about 15-20 mins by foot, and it takes 5 mins and 60 THB by Tuk-tuk. Breakfast is not so great, I recommend you to try a local porridge shop in front of the market. The hotel is a little old, but the room I stayed was clean. I had no problem with this hotel. I could enjoy nice stay.

Good value”

everything was just fine, including location (right in the cednter of town). the highlight of my stay was the staff's return of my very, very valuable shoulder bag, which i had left on the breakfast table for an hour or so. another feature of note is the sound-proofing. while a noisy night was being had by all in the not-too-distant restaurant-bar, i heard nothing at all in my insulated room.

Standard hotel that's centrally located”

The hotel is a standard Thai tourist hotel with a friendly staff and excellent location. It's walkable to most restaurants and shops in the center of town and if you're looking for nightlife after a day of trekking, look no further than the town's only nightclub located in the hotel's restaurant.

Excellent”

The hotel was nice, however we had booked two king rooms but when we arrived we wee told that only one king is available and the other will be a twin room. after mentioning to the staff that the booking was for two king room they took over 30 minutes to find out what was going on , all of a sudden there were two king rooms now available, i over heard them saying that they needed to move one staff member out of the room to make it available, the hot water takes time to get hot, we both found that the hot water needs to be run for 5 minutes to get hot. Other than these issues we enjoyed our stay and the hotel is close to many restaurants near the lake

Dated??”

I have stayed here a couple of times before. While everything still works, the hotel does show some age. I have no complains staying here. Room are clean and comfortable. Location is good. Price is fair. And staff is friendly and helpful. I forget my necklace and went back for it. Sure enough it was left at the counter for me. The only thing is that it is a little dated. Some would see that as character. Up it each.

Great location - centrally located just opposite the post office and a 15min walk to the bus terminal. It is within walking distance to the lake, night market, street food, eateries, tour agencies, a 7-11... Rooms were decent, clean and quite comfortable. For the price we paid, this was more than what we expected. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is great for the price”

The location is the main draw to this hotel. It’s like 1 min walk to the night markets and popular restaurants and pubs. The room size is just nice and the beds are soft unlike many “premium” hotels. Breakfast was ok. Parking is abundant. Cheap and good as they come

Hotel is loated in the city center”

The hotel is located in the city center an just five minutes walk to Jong Klang-Jong Kham Temple. If you take a public van from Chiang Mai, you can ask a driver to drop off at the hotel. However, you can travel by walking to the morning market and other attractions in the city easily.

Night Market”

Checking was fast and easy. It was great that parking for 1 van, 1 car and 3 motorcycles was no issue at all for the hotel. Night market is just across the street, so that a plus point. The rooms are clean but age has taken some toll on its fixtures. Breakfast vouchers needs to be obtain from the counter each morning. Still a great place to stay.

Great location...... but”

Excellent location in centre of town, right next to night markets. Rooms satisfactory but in need of a makeover. Restaurant very basic & could use a good chef & a revamp of the menu. Check in was very smoothly handled by the two girls on the front desk. All in all I would probably look for somewhere else if looking for value for money.
