Nice budget hotel not far from Walking Street”

Mike hotel is located within a 5 mins walk from Waling Street and yet, not in the most noisy zone. The rooms are a bit old and run down, but for this price it will still be among the best options in that area. The breakfast is minimal and some guests can be noisy (lower price does attract all kinds), but I would still recommend this hotel. The staff were so nice to me that you tend to forget small issues. I particularly remember one lady named Ms. Chotikha who was always helpful, respectful and soft spoken. The internet has some positive and some negative. The wifi speed is really good, in fact I could get download speeds of 60-65 mbps which is way beyond the usual 5-8 mbps you get in most hotels. However, in Mike hotel, every 30 mins you have to reconnect, using that paper with password in it and that is probably the most irritating thing I have ever faced. I urge the hotel management to get rid of this really poor system. Other than that, Mike hotel is a great place to stay!

Great Location, good price . Next to beach ”

The Mike hotel was centrally located just down from Walking Street, and right on the beach. The 1st floor had the restaurant, and the ground floor was a shopping mall. You could enter the building from the front or rear most times. Unfortunately you have to use the stairs from street level to the 1st floor (reception)most of the time. Like all the hotels I stayed at in Pattaya, the mattress was like a rock. Even though the hotel was right near all the action, the room was quiet. The pool was on the roof.. The hotel was showing it's age just a bit, but then it was a budget hotel. I would stay again at this hotel.

Exvellent location , Great value for money, but matress is a bit stiff”

The location of the hotel is excellent - just two minutes walk from walking street at snd road near pattaya south road, so it is also 2 minutes walk for the bath bus to Jomtien. I took the big room at floor 6 - it is a very big room, with a bathtub. The water are hot - but takes some time until it warms up, and the flow is not very strong although is still ok to shower. If you want to take a bath - Just start filling it about 10 minutes before you want to have it, but once it got full it was hot and fun. I took a room with no breakfast - but anyway did not see anyone eating breakfast and also breakfast ends early at 10, when I wake up, so I just walk 5 minutes to LEK Hotel for their good breakfast buffet at 150THB. Bed is a bit stiff - was difficult for me at first night but got used to it at the second night. Still a softer mattress would be better. One thing I don't understand is why they don't put a safe in the room, it is sometimes a nuisance to go take money from the lobby

great hotel, great staff, great time”

i enjoyed mike hotel immensely. the price was right, the staff was great, the restaurant was great. oh, and the location as well. on my next trip to thailand i will stay here. i was pretty amazed, actually, that i was treated like a king for such a reasonable price. i was sad to leave. next time i plan to stay longer. thanks to mike hotel

Excellent location and clean rooms”

I have stayed here several times over the years, and I'm never disappointed. It looks a little run down from the outside, and is above the Mike Shopping Mall, in North Pattaya. The rooms are very clean and functional, and the staff are wonderful.

A great place to stay”

This hotel is close to everything. Only a 5 minute walk to Walking Street. The room is clean and comfortable with bedding changed every day. I was on the 5th floor and the pool was just a few steps down the hall. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Several times I emailed my travel documents/boarding pass to the desk and they were promptly printed for me at no charge. This hotel is great value for the money. I will be staying here on my next trip to Pattaya.

Great location for pub street”

We booked this as it had a pool however, the pool was closed which we were not aware of. Room is small but clean and comfortable with a tv and fridge. Bathroom has a bath and shower. Location is 2 mins from pub street. It was hard to find on foot when we arrived as we were following a map which took us around the back. It is much easier accessible via going through the Mike Plaza from the beach front. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Ideal for a short, cheap stay.

The stay in mike hotel was great. The rooms are not that small just enough for 2 people. The staff was helpful and friendly.The rooms are clean and also the bathroom. Just a 5min walk to walking street. It was great.

Good and clean hotel in the center”

I was there for one day and two nights. The Mike hotel is over the Mike Plaza shopping mall which means it is possible to use the mall as a pathway to the beach road. To enter the hotel a stairways left to the mall entry must be climbed up. The lobby is in the 2nd floor and comparable to other 3 star hotels. I booked a Superior Double Bed room which is quiet big. Everything is very clean - even the long hall way from the lift to the room. Bathroom installations seem to be new. The light comes from energy saving or LED lamps. But I was missing a in room savety box which is only available at the reception. There is a roof top pool in the fifth floor (my room was in the sixth floor). But the pool is small and does not offer more comfortable feelings that the bathing tube inside the room. Breakfast is not offered. But staff is friendly.

Walk through mike shopping mall and your on beach road, and a short walk to Walking St, good view from the pool and sun deck will stay here on my next trip

Great location but ageing furnitures”

It was a old hotel but clean room located right at the heart of Pattaya. If u plan to take a minivan ride from Bkk to Pattaya, van will stop just one street beside this hotel at the end point. 5mins walk to the hotel. Surrounding the hotel have plenty of restaurants and pubs. Famous walking street just diagonal across hotel. If u want to get cheaper food,fruits and clothes, u can try walking along south pattaya rd to the mall near the temple. Overall was great!

Easy check in and room ready. Clean and quiet but the aircon is a little loud. Wifi needs work. Your connection is lost very soon after your device is idle and with me I had to do the whole login every time. Frustrating. Pool is very clean and great place to see Pattaya or read a book. Never tried the restaurant or breakfast buffet.

Smart budget hotel in a good location.”

Small/medium size hotel in a great location close to Walking street and the Sorngtiaw stops both to Jomtien and to Naklua. The hotel sits above a shopping centre of the same name which spans from Second to Beach Road. The main Hotel entrance is on 2nd but can be accessed from Beach via the 24 hour Snooker hall. Lovely and clean. Small adequate rooms. No smoking is floor 5 with the swimming pool. Pool is medium size and deep (maybe not best for small kids?). Nice views from floor 5 to the beach. Reception is floor 2 (there are stairs up from the street although there is a lift not normally accessible for able bodied guests - you can take lift from 2 to 5 etc). Large breakfast room and, possibly, unused bar. Breakfast only cost me around 100 extra for 2 people with a choice of hot dishes - noodles, rice, grapaow etc. Plus toast, coffee, fruit etc. Worth the extra even when I was alone. The staff warmed to me after a couple of days. Maybe beaten down by over demanding Indian guests!!

Good location on Pattaya 2nd road near Beach Road and Walking Street, and close to all songthaew bus stops for going north, east, and south. Nice rooftop pool - very deep at 10.1m at the centre. Clean, comfortable rooms and good friendly sevice.

Well located and clean”

Mike Hotel is situated at the back of the block closest to the beach but there is a walkthrough passage in the store below. The hotel is also close to Walking Street - the main night adult entertainment centre in Pattaya. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and cooperative.

Excellent Location”

I booked via AGODA with good cheap rate. Stayed 2 night in this hotel, its located at the happening area – south pattaya. Good location, easy to get the anything / everywhere. Small room but clean & bathroom with bathtub & In room wifi. Small rooftop swimming pool. Not beach front hotel but 5min walk to the beach and walking street. Will stay here again when I revisit pattaya. Highly recommend!
