Great budget hotel to stay in Pattaya”

we arrived at nearly 1200 at midnight. At check-in, there is something wrong with the system so the reception staff cannot find our booking information. However, the staff still let us in though he couldn't find any our information(make sure you bring the Agoda hotel voucher along with you). The room is big and clean. Nice WIFI. many interesting TV channels. Big swimming pool. Varieties meals at low price. Staffs are very friendly and can speak English. We asked them questions about travel in Pattaya and they provide us transfer service to different places at very low price.20-30 min's walk to Tiffany's show and Pattaya Beach. The male staff called "BOMB"(sounds like this)is a very friendly and nice guide who take us to Nong Nooch Botanical garden and Pattaya bus station. Overall, a very nice place for you to live during holidays. The only thing not good enough is there are some dogs living around. They bark sometimes at midnight.

This is the first time we stayed here. We were looking for a cheap place near Pattaya to stay for a week, and Sawasdee Place did not disappoint. Many places nearby to eat, Markets, to visit, you can walk to Beach Road/Walking Street if you like walking and seeing the sights. Hotel has Fox News, which is a big plus for Americans wanting to hear to truth about what's happening back home. We will definitely stay here again.

Great value Pattaya hotel”

I booked Sawasdee place because I wanted to do some long walks in the city. Yes, the hotel is about an hours walk to Walking Street, but you can get a Baht Bus for 10 Baht, that takes you as far as Jomtien, just a few yards away. There are also motor-bike taxis very close by. The rooms are spacious and have a large fridge, good size flatscreen tv with many channels including live Premier League football, an efficient shower, and a balcony. No lift, but this did not bother me. Super friendly and helpful staff who arranged a taxi to the airport for me when mine failed to arrived. There is hot food and cold drinks all day, and even a decent swimming pool. Really, pleased, and will book again.

Close to everything, but far enough away...”

Sawasdee Place has easy access to baht buses, Terminal 21 is a short walk, Naklua beach is also within walking distance...lots of eating spots nearby. The staff and facilities are wonderful...cute and clean!

Economical but with class”

i loved this hotel for many reasons. first, this inexpensive hotel (about per night for a single) is located about 10 minutes from the hectic action of pattaya. that means it is quiet and great for relaxing. however, it is not too far from the action, so one can walk or take public transportation (about 30 cents us) to get there. another great feature is the swimming pool. it is large enough to swim laps and has many chairs for relaxing after a busy night out on the town.next to it, there is a small, good restaurant form the hotel. food is tasty and reasonably priced. it is great to eat there outside next to the pool. service at the hotel is also a big plus. the rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, including a complete change of the linens.

This hotel is great. I stayed there for 21 days with my girlfreind. Such nice staff, all round especially the night porter man who was always smiling. The cleaning staff are always very attentive and fast at their jobs. The pool is nice and shaded and clean. The cook lady (Mama) is very good at making cow phat gai and mama pad kee mao etc. The hotel is very close to Naklua Road where baht but pass regularly (10 baht to get to Beach road which takes about 10 minutes max) The rooms are very big and spacious. The hotel is also close to Wong Amat beach which is 10 minutes walk away. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be recommending it to my friends. Go and try it out. I will be back. Nice place and economical”

The guest house is just 100m from Naklua Road where the baht bus will take you to the centre of Pattaya for 10bt. The beach is within walking distance and clean and quiet. The rooms in the guest house all seem to be large and clean with very large bed. I would recommend you take a room with a view of the swimming pool. Overall an excellent place to stay

Sawasdee Place Pattaya Hotel is very good. Nice personel, big rooms. I liked the place, everywhere nearby. Cheap. Hotel have no elevator and I stayed on the 4 floor. No safe in your room, no card to open your door but old fashioned keys.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 27 days staying at the Sawasdee Place hotel and will definitely book it again. The people who work there are vey helpful and friendly, the location in excellent and I would recommend it to anyone ......superb.

Perfect hotel for a budget travelller.”

Our stay at sawasdee place was excellent. the hotel staff is friendly and understand English. the hotel is at a distance of 10min for pattay beach road and is located in a calm place also. there is a seven eleven too rite outside the hotel. the hotel also offers you good food at cheap rates than outside. rooms are spacious and clean. bathrooms are a little smaller but can adjust with the other pros about the place.

Generally comfortable enough, with a nice ambience, even though many things in need of refurbishment - e.g. mattresses, cupboards, chairs, poolside materials. Plus points include:- safety deposit boxes behind reception counter, nice pool, spacious room, bottle of drinking water new every day. The hotel would benefit from having shower gel and shampool instead of small soap bars, and serving better standard of coffee - the one I had was too bitter for me to drink. It's very near to the main Pattaya-NaKlua road, and so easy to jump on a songtaew outside the 7-11 store. Good massage place across the main road, and a good selection of eating places very near.

Good hotel and away from the fray”

low price hotel, in a good location. many street vendors cooking god food next to a 7/11 about a 1 minute walk from the hotel. you can walk to the north end of beach road quite easily, and to walking street if you don't mind a little hike. there is a school across the street from the hotel, and the kids do get a little loud during the day. overall and very nice, cheap hotel in the pattaya area.

Perfectly Located!”

this hotel is ideally located! it is only 20 minutes to walk to the center of the action downtown. you can, however, take a public mini for about 30 cents (us). the price for a solo traveller is great because it is under us, and that includes a delicious,large breakfast (american or asian).i loved the service because my room was cleaned each day and the linens changed daily. bottled was put into my fridge each day as well. i felt very comfortable with the staff and also felt my personal belongings were safe in the room. i used the free security at the reception for my passport and traveler's checks. the final selling point for this hotel was the great swimming pool. it is large enough for swimming laps and was never crowded.

Decent Hotel which has seen better days”

good thing: its got a mini kitchen with pans n gas n plates to cook ur own meals. receptionist very good and caring and could speak bearable english. off the main road so very quiet. bad points: hotel has seen better days. quite cheap but didnt even give soap for the toilets? no tissues left, less than half the roll given when checked in. kinda far away from the nightlife and the beach. 15 mins drive on the scooter if you know the in-roads. ac is shambolic. doesn't work properly and had to call someone everytime to fix it but doesnt exactly cool the room at all. its situated on a wall quite away from the center of the room like heaters in europe! but overall a very good hotel for the cheap price. won't mind staying here again!

Very basic but clean hotel”

This is value for money hotel. Basic room and fridge, noisy a/c, small pool. Safe at the reception. Silent area, less than 1km to Naklua road bars & restaurants. Seven Elevent shop and Home Mart shop in Naklua road (50 meters) as well as tuk-tuk to the center. I stayed 10 days, I would go again.

this is very good hotel good location clean and also quite. but it would better if the hotel can arrange the the bus ticket from pattaya to bangkok.
