Phuket Oct 2019”

As a regular travelers to Phuket, this is the first time we stayed at Le Meridian. The resort may be 30+years old, but the facade and interiors are well cleaned. There are lots of activities for both adults and children. Aside from the extensive facilities offered like tennis, archery, mini golf, huge huge pools and a private beach, there are a good line up of activities for both adults and children at the kids club. The breakfast has a good variety and there are plenty of restaurants and bars to filled our tummy. Lots of shops within the resort as well. Love it. Will definitely be back with a bigger group soon

Top class place - with broad appeal ”

This hotel is really very good. It is one of the few places I have been to that can broadly appeal to visitors of many kinds - honeymoon, short break, kids etc will all find it one of the best options in Phuket. Basic summary: clean, quiet, private beach, huge pools, 10 restuarants/bars, modern style, big rooms and worth paying extra for the pool/ocean view. Staff and check in/out was perfect. Room for improvement: no deal breakers, but Wi-Fi access is limited and slow, the buffet could have been a bit bigger (by Thailand standards) and the spirits were a touch expensive (although beer was not). Great place. I'm a frequent visitor to Phuket so I doubt I'd stay anywhere else when I return

Amazing stay”

Le Meridien Phuket is an overall wonderful hotel stay especially for honeymooners as it has very good privacy and the dining are amazing, they have very good gifts to honeymooners like free photos in the hotel and nice preparation in the room. You should all try the Spa in the hotel as well.

Our third stay over a few years. The hotel staff are outstanding, friendly and courteous. Took a half board package over 7 nights and was not disappointed by the selection of restaurants and the quality of food and service. Having stayed at numerous beach resorts in Thailand and other countries The Le Meridien is in a class all of it's own.

Perfect Vacation”

The hotel was much more that I expected, the staff was excellent in helping us plan our daily activities (if needed) and followed up with the various tour groups to make sure we were happy with our results. The variety of food for the breakfast is well thought out to accommodate most guests. I found the hotel beach to be the best on Phuket without all the clutter found on the more public beaches. I would gladly stay here again if ever returning to this part of Thailand.

Great Holiday”

The stay was fantastic with my family of 4. The beach is clean. Did some snorkelling at the far end of the cliff. The rooms are comfortable. The staff provides good service throughout. Definitly worth coming back What to improve : 1. Wifi in room should be free since most hotels in Phuket provided free wifi 2. Food in restaurants are on the high side 3. Sports equipment should be upgraded as many seems beyond usuage.

Comfortable, good service, lovely resort and beach”

Was very happy with the stay. Service is excellent and most staff proficient in English. Best part of the hotel is that the beach is solely used by the hotel and the swimming pools are extremely large. Location makes it difficult to travel out. Transport cost expensive. Overall, great for relaxation at the beach and minimal travel to the rest of Phuket.

Still one of the best Hotels in Phuket”

I have been coming to Phuket since 1994 and this is my 10th stay at the Le Meridien. Having stayed before on a few occasions in the previously named Royal suite, it was nice to see that it has been refurbished and is now the Grand Suite. standing on the wide expanse of balcony watching the sunset is still one of my great pleasures. The hotel is still in great condition and there are plenty of activities to entertain all ages. as it was off season some of the restaurants were being used on rotation but the selection was still good. I think attention needs paying to the nightly buffets as the quality seems to have dropped a bit here but the standard of food in Portofino and Wang Wahrin Thai Restaurant was excellent. Looking forward to some innovative dining changes next.

Pleasant stay”

Last year during an Unicef event I bought a voucher for this resort which was a 3 night stay in a Junior Suite. To extend my stay I bought another 2 nights in deluxe garden view room. Normally I will opt for smaller resorts but to be honest I was pleasantly surprised about this big hotel. It is all well organised, the staff is helpful and friendly and speaks English at a reasonable level. There is a fantastic private beach and enough beach chairs on the beach, near the pools and in the garden. The breakfast has a good variety and can be taken in different outlets till 10.30am. Several times I ordered meals with room service and I tried the Italian and Japanese restaurant and without exception the service and food quality was very good. A bit of letdown for me was the start in the deluxe garden view room which was fully renovated and really nice. After 2 nights I moved to a Junior Suite which was better located and more spacious, but not renovated with a dusty smell inside which simply comes with older rooms and furniture. Can recommend this hotel if you like to stay big hotels as you still can have your privacy, but do check if you booked a renovated room as this can make a big difference. The wifi in the rooms is charged which should be included with these room rates. They have their own transfer service which is of course considerably more expensive than others, but it is very convenient. During my stay there were many Russian guests and this did not bother me in any way, but if socializing is one of your goals during your stay, this hotel might not be the right choice for you.

Lovely Hotel”

We love the Le Meriden brand hotels, they all have the best beds, feather pillows, and consistent good quality. The staff are professional and helpful. The concierge desk was exceptionally helpful. They upgraded us to a terrace suite for a small extra fee and it was absolutely the nicest room. This was our sixth time at the Phuket hotel and we will be back!

Great time in Phuket”

We had fabulous 3 nights at Le Meridien Phuket, All staffs are beyond great, brilliant service! The room itself has good facilities and also super comfortable bed and pillow. Couldn’t recommend more. Worth every penny!

Amazing Stay”

we really enjoyed our stay in Le Meridien Phuket, it's worth every penny paid, the Spa is amazing and the dining is very good, the room is amazing and try to have the pool view.

Wonderful hotel...Poor Transportation Options”

Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The beach was fantastic with fine sand, very clean with no rocks for kids to hurt themselves on. The baby elephant coming out on the beach was a nice treat. I also liked that they offered towels for you to take out on your other excursions like when you go out to Phi Phi or Phang Nga. There was lots for the kids to do so they wouldn't be bored even if you just stayed at the hotel. Swimming at the beach or the pools, play room with supervision and activities, mini golf, crafts, really well planned for the kids. On the not so positive side, the spa service was nothing great and well short of what you would expect at a 5 star resort, especially in Thailand. Also disappointing was having to pay 400 Baht ($13) every time you wanted to go out and come back to the resort, even for just a 10 minute ride to Patong Beach. Made you think twice about eating out or just walking around. Still, many more positives than the little negatives.

Le Meridain Phuket”

Stayed for 2 nights to experiance a 5 star resort, we have stayed at 6 hotels in Phuket over the last 8 years, Le Meridian was not good value, staff are nice rooms are just okay, we paid extra for ocean view, which was not worth the extra we paid. Breakfast was just okay, egg stataion was under staffed and had big wait. Pool had no cover over it anywhere so can not stay long in pool or you will get burnt. Got a good price through Agoda for our stay so happy with that but would not stay there again but was glad we tried it out.

Fantastic hotel”

Stayed 7 nights here, had a wonderful time. The resort was immaculate, staff were lovely and the location and facilities amazing. Value for money on food and other resort purchases isn't the best but would still recommend this resort as a wonderful place to stay, with amazing facilities right on the beach.

our room was in front of renovation , noise and dust”

good hotel with very nice beach, but we are given room facing construction site. the information was not properly stated, i thought the room was 150sqm but it was actually 60% of the state space are balcony. and 40% are room size. staff are helpful when we are ask to change room but unfortunately no room available. our little kid love the beach, will stay here again if we want some nice beach with lifeguard to check on our safety. breakfast is huge variety.

Great Hotel!”

We had a wonderful stay at the Le Meridien. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Having free DVD rentals were fantastic when the sky opened up and it rained all day. We hired a taxi from the front desk and the driver stayed with us while we went shooting and then go-karting and charged us even less to get back. Great service!
