Nice quiet place with very friendly staff”
We really enjoyed our stay at Three Trees Samui Resort. We got the beachfront bungalow with a private rooftop with beautiful sea views. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There is a nice swimming pool with lights at the night, plenty of privacy. The beach is not the most beautiful in Koh Samui but it's still one of the best ones on the island. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Amazing find, like a dream. ”
My boyfriend and I stayed here during our time in Koh Samui and were thoroughly impressed, the friendliest staff who couldn’t do enough for you and the most amazing spot, nice pool and private beach where you can rent kayaks free of charge! After a month of visiting Thailand this was our favourite accommodation by far. Only bad thing we would have to say would be that the location is quite remote, but you can rent a motorbike for quite cheap which is a good way to see all the attractions and towns close by. We hope to return in the future to this beautiful place.

2nd Stay at Sarocha”
This was our 2nd stay, we went back because we love everything about Sarocha Villa. The surrounding gardens are really lovely, it's fabulous waking up sliding your doors open & looking directly at the Private Beach & lapping sea. It is a very restfull place. It is well maintained & the chalets are very clean. You walk through the gardens to have breakfast served in an open wooden stilted building. Lunches are served there & it is exellent food. We plan to go back again on our next trip to Koh Samui.

Paradise on Earth”
This place was lovely, and just what the doctor ordered. I had a sea-view bungalow overlooking the water, and it's difficult to not want to live here forever. The room was very clean, well supplied (fridge, good air-con, flatscreen TV in the bedroom), and enjoying drinks as the sun went down over the water was amazing. If I'm ever back in Samui, I will definitely look at this place again (and perhaps a scooter to be a little more mobile, which I think the hotel will rent to you.)

Value for money, quite place, best hospitality.”
Pros: The owner very took care of us. They help us find affordable rental car and book taxi that give good price to us. Breakfast was ok. The room very clean and we booked beach front room which we get very spectacular view. The place is quite far from the Lamai town. But it is ok for us. But still have family mart and makro within walking distance. (Family mart about 600m and Makro about 1.4km). The swimming pool a bit small but my kids still enjoy it. Overall i satisfied with my stay. Cons: The resort should have phone in every room so that if anything we want to ask is easy. It is because the room and the reception is quite far. The staffs also lack in communicating in english. There are a situation when i asked for extra laundry bag but the staff gave me plastic bin. Hahahaha...

Great quiet place - 5 minutes by scooter From Lamai beach”
Very Nice Hotel with nice rooms or studios, some with kitchen. Location is quiet, just 5 min with scooter (can be rented at Hotel) from busy and noisy Lamai. Rooms are well mainained and several rooms have a kitchen. Cleaning is good also. Staff is very freindly - excellent breakfast. Nice pool and "private" beach. Excellent value for money.

Cute place but make sure the fair/ market across the road is not on...”
This little place is well run, clean and within a 40 min walk of Lamai town centre....on very busy roads. Comfortable beds, water daily and lots of smiles. Pool was fine, beach is small but adequate. Our problem was a market/ fair that started the night after we got there and was going to be there for 16 days. A band played every night till sometimes 2 am and they had an amplifier attached to the drums. This meant for five of our six nights there our walls and ceiling vibrated with this very loud noise and we didn’t get much sleep. We were on the upper level of the new two story building , perhaps the lower floor may have been somewhat protected. We choose this area for a quiet spot away from bars of Lamai proper, it this event left us feeling like our stay was ruined. Even staff at the hotel admitted it was awful, one said to me that the manager had gone to sleep in his car!

the nicest manager in the world`”
owner/manager is the nicest person who will go out of her way to do anything for you, sort trips and will be there when you leave and when you return just to make sure you are ok. if you want the thai experience but a bit quieter than lamai main street this is the place! off the main drag, there are some quality restaurants a small walk from the hotel. close proximity to the beach as well, did i say the owner was awesome?!?!?

The resort is good, clean and kind staff. On the other hand Koh Samui as a place to visit: not good ”
Koh Samui is definition of mass tourism and all the resorts have ruined what could be a nice island. The beaches is inaccessible with a the resorts, the different towns are so ugly, and some of the tourist attractions are horrible: a filthy aquarium, monkey show where you can see monkeys lift weights and trapped elephants and tigres. Disgusting!

Seems lovely ”
This review is only based on the lady I met at reception. I cannot comment on cleanliness, facilities etc. I had booked a room for a night but they couldn’t accommodate me due to plumbing problems that they had tried unsuccessfully to fix before my arrival. The lady was extremely apologetic and she put me up in another very nice hotel 1k away - this location was actually closer to Lamai which suited me better. She drove me to the other hotel and checked me in, making sure I was happy with the room before she left. The place seemed nice but it is under construction so one to keep in mind if you like sleeping!

No beach to speak of, and just too far away. Staff very nice though”
What to say about Sarocha? We got off to a bad start when I inquired about an airport pick-up and transfer, advising I would like one and giving my flight details. I got a reply stating a cab would cost THB 600 and then asking did I want a pick-up (?) and what were my flight details. I gave the answers, again, and asked for confirmation - which I never got. Nor did I get picked up and had to arrange my own transfer on arrival at Samui airport. Sarocha had been recommended to me and I'd booked on that basis, including breakfast. On arrival I was advised their restaurant was closed for renovation (not that anything seemed to be happening) - but to their credit they arranged for a satisfactory breakfast to be brought to me each day. I knew the place had no pool - it was not evident it also had no beach at all, simply a raised sand covered terrace, and that the whole bay front was rocks. Bungalows were clean, but very basic. Mine had a small and very basic kitchen attached. The place was riddled with mosquitoes, day and night, and around half the place seemed to be inhabited by resident long-stayers, complete with their own dogs! The biggest drawback is that the place is a long way from anywhere, at a minimum 10 minutes or so up/downhill from Hin Ta/Hin Yai and that end of Lamai Beach, and a good half hour from the main part of Lamai Beach and the centre of Lamai town. The staff were very pleasant and helpful when required; the long term stayers made one feel like one was intruding on their territory. Was it totally awful ... no. Was it very good ... no. Would I stay there again? No way. Would I recommend you stay there - no. With apologies to the staff and owners, but the place just did not appeal.

Beautiful location on the beach and affordable!”
sarocha villa offered a clean, comfortable room with an amazing view of the beach from our front deck. the room was surprisingly affordable with air conditioning and hot shower that never failed us. breakfast was simple, but it was included with the price of the room and served on the breezy deck at the villa's reception area. the villa's operator is friendly and helpful in ordering taxis, etc. we would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely unbeatable”
A great price. Lovely family running the place. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, we ate there 90% of the time. Recommend the Panang Curry! The New Deluxe was literally brand new. Sleekly designed, clean, comfy, cool and seconds from the pool, private beach, and absolute serenity. You can hire bikes directly from reception for 200B/ day which is decent and so convenient to explore the Island by yourself. STAY HERE!

Construction at the property is annoying!”
The hotel itself is nice. Great place for relax. But! Not during construction ! They have a construction at the property every day from 8am to 5pm! Very noisy ! This is crazy ! They have to reduce the price for this property during construction ! I was writing Agoda and asking them to refund my booking and I was planning for booking something else but they didn’t help me also! Everyday from 8am to 5pm all I can hear is redicilous construction noise! From everywhere! Because they are making construction on the beach itself! And also they are making the new building. Very stressful! This is a nightmare! DONT GO HERE!

Fabulous ”
Fantastic holiday in a quiet place run by local people. Not too far from shops, food market etc., I would recommend hiring a scooter. Great accommodation, clean, room service, clean free towels, beach towels also available. The best accommodation so far as we don’t like spending lots of money. Air conditioner spot on. Comfortable rooms. We rented bungalow at the beach with kitchen. Great atmosphere & amazing pool. Thank you so much for super time!!! Ella, Ben & Finley.
