I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience overall. The property was spotlessly clean, which made my stay comfortable from the moment I arrived. Its location is perfect—close to everything I needed, whether it was restaurants, public transport, or local attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality really stood out and added a warm touch to the visit.I love the mini shop there's place at the lobby,, it's more convenient for us to buy some drink or small Snacks when it's to late for us to go out .. 💰 Great value for money—I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant place to stay!

When I checked in I was assigned to a very smelly room (cigarette smell) and I asked straight away to change it. The front desk staff was efficient and changed it quickly. The new room was great, spacious, comfortable. The bed is good, AC works well. The table was quite small though, hard to spend the day there working, but manageable. The shower was good, but it was noisy, maybe the pipes are a bit old. Still, not a big problem. The breakfast was definitely the best part, lots of options for both Westerners and Asians, there were different stations where you could order your omelette or noodle. The gym was a disappointment though, very small. The treadmills were old, we could feel a hole in both of them, it was weird and there was no AC which makes things much harder in the hot season in Bangkok!! Swimming pool was ok with a good view and finally, the hotel location is very convenient. The street is not noisy and it is near the BTS On Nut station. I would consider coming back in my next trip to Bangkok!

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Amber Sukhumvit 85. The location is just a 5-minute walk to the BTS, with plenty of massage shops, local eateries, 7/11s and supermarkets nearby. The rooms come with a microwave and fridge. The staff were lovely across the board, front of house, housekeeping and the restaurant team. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and very reasonably priced. The Wi-Fi was super fast, which I needed for working. The only slight downsides I can think of is that the pool is very small (I didn’t end up using it) and the gym is compact, though it does have the basics like a treadmill, bike and free weights. Overall, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel.
This was my first time choosing to stay here, and once I checked in, I could immediately say that it exceeded my expectations. The breakfast had a great variety and was delicious—you could tell that a lot of care went into the service. Every staff member was attentive, making me feel their genuine willingness to help. It would be difficult to name every outstanding staff member, but Muang truly stood out to me. I could sense his dedication to his work, and I was very pleased with his service. He did an excellent job cleaning our room and was always polite, smiling, and willing to assist us whenever we needed help. P’Ae is a woman with a true passion for hospitality. She is attentive to guests and has such a warm and friendly personality. F&B Manager, P’Aly, was also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much! 🙏 Throughout my trip to Bangkok, staying at Hotel Amber Sukhumvit 85 was absolutely the right choice. It was worth every penny—affordable yet exceptional in service. “Memorable Stat”
We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and clean, offering a pleasant view, and it was particularly enjoyable to see the BTS train passing by. Although we did not utilize the pool, it appeared to be a great addition on the rooftop, along with a mini gym. We did notice a slight unpleasant odor emanating from the toilet, which we hope can be addressed. The hotel's location is quite convenient, being an 8 to 10-minute walk from the BTS On Nut station. The nearest 7-Eleven is approximately a 4 to 6-minute walk away. Furthermore, the hotel's proximity to the Ekkamai bus station is advantageous for those planning to travel by bus. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. We especially enjoyed the orange juice and appreciated the freshly cooked bacon and eggs made to order! We would like to extend our gratitude to Joe and Han for their excellent service during our stay! We certainly recommend this hotel!
