+I love the new building nearby mai khai beach just accross the street. +Very clean Now we talking about the minus ; I stayed at Awaken Danang for 6 days and 5 nights. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the free airport pick-up service, which I did receive upon arrival. However, I tried to negotiate for both pick-up and drop-off airport transfers, considering the length of my stay, but the hotel staff refused without any flexibility. Ironically, if I had booked everything separately, I could have gotten both transfers. I chose not to argue further, but honestly, the hotel staff its not so flexible. Another disappointing experience happened on my 4th night. I booked a premier triple partial sea view room, and I had consistently received 3 bottles of mineral water per day. But that evening, there were no bottles on the table as usual. I called customer service to ask why they hadn’t provided the water, and they said they would check with the cleaning team. During the first call, the receptionist insisted the water had already been placed in the room — but I double-checked and found nothing. They followed up with another call after speaking again with housekeeping and claimed that a cleaning staff member had seen me take the water bottles directly from the housekeeping cart in the hallway. This accusation really upset me — why would I take water bottles from the cart? I requested they check the hallway CCTV footage to verify if that actually happened. After a long and unnecessary debate, they finally agreed to give me the 3 bottles I was entitled to. Frankly, it was a ridiculous situation. I didn’t expect a simple request like water to escalate into such a complicated and borderline offensive conversation. I hope the hotel can work on improving their customer service approach — being more trusting and solution-oriented would go a long way. The hotel itself is clean and the facilities are decent, but these small incidents left a sour taste in what could’ve been a more pleasant stay. Your hotel seriously needs to learn the true meaning of hospitality. There’s absolutely no need to argue over something as minor as three bottles of mineral water. I travel frequently and stay in many hotels, and in most cases, they even offer free-flow drinking water without question. It’s disappointing that such a basic amenity turned into such an unnecessary and uncomfortable situation.
Awaken Da Nang was absolutely worth the money. Even though the hotel is not as centrally located along the beach such as M Hotel and others, the price was much lower than those. Its still beach accessible by a 1 minute walk and about a 10 to 30 min walk to the rest of the restaurants and beach bars along the beach. Grab is also very affordable in Da Nang so it was not really an issue. The rooms were clean and modern. The gym and pool were more than adequate. Only the breakfast could be better. Selection of food wasn't fantastic for the size of the breakfast area. Overall, Awaken was a great place to stay in Da Nang beachfront.
We thank the hotel for the special arrangement for us. Especially the attentive service from Nathan Truong - the front desk receptionist. He is very attentive and friendly, the hotel is clean, the location is opposite the sea with a breathtaking view.
Overall, this hotel offers great value with its combination of comfort, service, and amenities. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Da Nang and would happily stay here again.

“A comfortable stay”
Had a great stay at Awaken. The hotel was very new, clean and luxurious. Rooms were big and we had an amazing sea view room with breathtaking views of the beach where you can see the sunrise. Beach was a 3 minute walk away and there is a couple of 24 hour convenience stores and some local food and coffee vendor right downstairs. The staff were really accommodating, whether that is front desk, cleaning, restaurant, pool, they were all very smiley and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning had a wide selection and the quality was really good (liked that they had beef steak strips every morning, but the beef was quite chewy so I only had it the first morning). The pool was great and was bigger than expected especially since a lot of hotels around Danang show pictures that seem bigger than the real thing. Enjoyed a lovely cocktail and coffee at the pool-side bar. Special shoutout to Casa leafy spa. Loved the complimentary 45-mins massage that came with my booking. We booked a longer massage afterwards, and the hotel staff were so nice to allow us to still use the massage facilities even after we checked out. Our flight was in the evening and the staff kept our luggage at reception for us and allowed us to use the showers at Casa Leafy since we spent the afternoon out on the beach before having the massage and then heading to the airport. was the perfect way to spend the last day in Vietnam. Only a couple of things to be aware of: 1) sound travels easily through the corridors so if you are unfortunate to be stuck on the same floor as noisy guests or loud kids, you’ll be sure to hear them every morning. 2) car horns and traffic can still be heard through the windows since it is facing the main road. Overall Excellent value for money, lived like kings and queens for 5 days. Thoroughly recommend.
