Stayed in Ayutthaya for one night during the Yoi Yas festival. It was my first time trying a traditional wooden sala house; the atmosphere felt like being in a period drama. The beautiful antique wooden house is well-priced. I stayed in the "Lila Wadi" room, which was nice and clean with an ensuite bathroom, but requires going down stairs, which may not be suitable for elderly guests. The staff were friendly and provided good service; breakfast was okay. The accommodation is quiet with only a few rooms. Although it is not by the river and a bit far from the city, there is a swimming pool that provides a shady ambiance. Foot massage services are available. Overall, I liked it; having your own car would be the most convenient option.
