“Very good”
To be honest, I want to speak directly. The room we got feels like a room that hasn’t been completed yet and is being rented out for guests. If you ask why I say it feels unfinished, it starts with the ceiling—wires and pipes aren't properly finished. The walls and the entire room do not match the promotional images. Next, regarding the amenities, some lights that should be working don’t turn on, like the mirrors in the bathroom and the dressing table, and the towel rack doesn’t work at all. The only lights that work are in the middle of the room above the bed and in the middle of the bathroom. Now, about the bathroom, the counter near the sink looks like it has nice tiles in the pictures, but in our room, it’s just bare concrete without any tiles like those in the promotions. Moving on to the bathroom tiles, this might be a personal feeling, but I feel it looks unsafe and has a high chance of being slippery. Then there’s the water heater and shower; this is specific to our room—I don’t know about others, but in our room, the heater doesn’t work. The shower feels old and is positioned too high; I’m 159 cm nearly 160 and still have to tiptoe to reach it. Some might ask why we can’t bring the shower down; we need to adjust it to wash our hair since it’s too harsh when it’s not adjusted. We need to lower the shower head to make it smoother, and it’s also about the drainage; I feel the drainage isn’t good. I washed my hair around 5-6 PM, and by 9 PM when I returned from dinner, the water still hadn’t drained and I had to use the shower head or bidet spray to push the foam down. Let’s talk about the view. The beautiful view you see might have been taken from a higher floor, but we got the second floor, and I want to say the view is not nice at all. This might be personal; I can’t control that, but I just want to say if anyone cares about the room view, you can request a higher floor from the staff. If you get the second or first floor, you won’t see any view at all. Also, if anyone cares that the lights aren't white, you might like it, but for me, I don't because, in the photos or other hotels I’ve stayed at, the lights are white LED. Here, everything is orange, and this is just a personal preference. I feel it’s not bright enough, especially at night when you can’t open the curtains to let light in, it gets dim, which I personally don’t like. But as I said, it’s a matter of personal preference, and I’m just mentioning this as an option for everyone to decide. About the hotel location, it’s convenient to access; it’s near Central Big C, but I recommend if anyone is hungry or wants to snack late at night, buy some food in advance because the convenience store is quite far. If you don’t have a private car, it might be a little inconvenient. If possible, stock up on snacks for midnight cravings so you won’t have to go through trouble later. There are restaurants around—it’s not far, and there are bars and pubs, making it close to tourist attractions which is okay. Speaking of the staff, they were alright. That’s all I have to say; I hope my review will be helpful to many people, and I want to emphasize again that this review is my personal opinion and reflects what I experienced. Some might think I’m being fussy, but for 300-400 or 500-600 baht, we expect it to be decent. I just want to point out that hotels in that price range can sometimes be better or worse than this one, as I’ve experienced quite a few.
