Still the best in Chiang Rai”

Stayed here for a second time, and it still is for me the best in Chiang Rai. It is centrally located, rooms are clean and well maintained. The only downside I experienced was, we arrived early in the day, but we weren't allowed check-in until about 1PM. They kept telling us that because we booked thru Agoda, check-in time is strictly 2PM. Nothing really bad because that's what it says on print. They allowed to keep our luggage so we can go around town. But, it would have been a nice touch if we were allowed to check-in earlier, the hotel wasn't really fully booked because it's off season for travel now. I wonder, if we booked through the B2 app, would we have been allowed to check-in earlier? Perhaps... In summary though, the value for money is really way above board, especially because we got a discounted price. Will definitely stay again here next time I'm in Chiang Rai.

Good Location, Excellent Condition”

The hotel is in a very good location. 4-5 blocks away from the clock tower, 7-10 min walk to Wat Phra Kaew, 10-15-min walk to the City Navel Monument or Night Bazaar, 20-min walk to King Mengrai Monument. The room I got was in pretty good condition and spacious. House cleaning do their job well! The hotel has a food hall, but I think it is open only for breakfast. But, breakfast is an option, besides it is near to some very excellent food canteens frequented by locals, so food is not an issue whenever staying here. All in all, B2 Chiang Rai Hotel is highly recommended!

Lovely Hotel”

I stayed for 3 nights in B2 Chiang Rai. Bed was comfortable with a spacious room and a window. Rooms so clean, aswell in bathroom. Location was good, you could walk from the bus station to this hotel. Easy to find nice food, go to night market bazaar and walking night nearby the hotel. Wifi connection also good. I would love to recommended this hotel. Super duper great! I will come back for sure :)

Nice location with an excellent coffee shop ”

we especially enjoyed the night bazaar...good food and good entertainment.....the saturday night market on one street over from the b2 was extremely well attended....close to the bus station....we took a songthaew to rai boondraug a beautiful tea plantation with a lovely restaurant....a magical place. we enjoy the bbq duck in chiang rai...prices are extremely good.

cheap and cozy stay in Chiang Rai”

Everything is perfect except the wall that is quite thin, so you can hear the noise of your neighbors. The staffs are great, service-minded and attentive. Checking in and out is really fast. You should note that there will be a key deposit fee. (300 bahts) Deluxe rooms are more spacious than superior ones. The rest is basically the same, facilities and stuffs. The hotel is on budget-friendly basis, so there will be no hair dryer, iron, coffee maker, etc. The room design is simple yet modern. No heavy decorations, but less is more. It's about 10 kilometers away from the airport, so it's just 10-15 mins depending on traffic. It's just right in front of the Chiang Rai leading high-school and the clock tower circle is just right around the corner. So, you could expect heavy traffic in the morning and the evening. Night Bazaar and the old bus terminal are also in a walking distance, about 500 m. Saturday walking street is just a block away, behind the hotel.

Good Location, Very Clean & Enough Parking Space”

1. Location : In the heart of Chiang Rai town centre. Near to the Clock Tower (musical clock tower everyday at 7,8 & 9pm) only 10 mins walk. 2. Food : A lot of halal restaurant near Darunaman Mosque (only 5 mins walk from here). 3. Shopping : Night market open everyday (except Sunday) is 10 mins walk. Saturday Night Market is 5 mins walk. 7Eleven is just 3 mins walk & open 24 hrs. Central Plaza is 10 mins drive. 4. Facilities : Internet was very good in the room. Lift provided. Room and toilet very clean. Toiletries provided. Enough space for car park, just in front of the hotel. 5. Staff : Staffs were very polite and full of smile. 6. Value for money : For RM 89 per night its really worth the money!

Good location, quiet street, value for money”

Good location. We found the hotel easily after walking from the Chiang Rai station, with simple directions from tour agents. Checking in was trouble-free, the premises and room were clean. The spacious bedroom was well situated, the bed was firm and comfortable. The minibar and coffee making kettle catered for our needs. There was a large mirror but its position on the section of the wall was not adequately lit. It would have been good to have a safety locker in the office to keep some of our valuables. Within easy walking distance was the night bazaar and the massage centres.

This 2star hotel has left us speechless for the price we paid we was not expecting how magnificent the room and service was going to be.This hotel is in the perfect location is right in the centre of Chiang Rai and is only a short drive away from the main attraction and temples, no more that a 10 minute drive. The room is spectacular.

B2 Hotel Chiang Rai is located in the city . Its not far from Night market . You can walk to Night market and Chaiang Rai Night Barzaar .

Close to night markets”

We stayed in B2 because of how close it was to the night market and clock tower. We walked 10 minutes to get to the night market. Very safe to get around in Chiang Rai and nothing costs more than two dollars to get around.

Budget hotel in town that satisfies your needs”

I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel which I thought one of the best hotels in town with the limited budget. The location is very good, around 5 mins walk to clock tower and night bazzar market. The room is spacious and clean eventhough it is rather old compared with that on pictures. Clean toilet (my most concern) and helpful staff could be a plus for your stay. I didnt spend too much time at the hotel as I was around Chiang Rai for whole days. If anyone wants a contact to drive you around with good service and good price, contact me for details.

Value budget hotel near Chiang Rai Center”

B2 Chiang Rai is a new hotel near the center of Chiang Rai. Hotel staff speaks very basic English but check in was still fast and efficient. Selling points is that the hotel is very cheap, clean and relatively new. Room is clean, good size with a king bed, has a flat screen TV but only local channels. There is a bar fridge but no kettle. Hot water is available from a dispenser. The bathroom shower is very weak and started flooding after 1/2 a bath and I had to stop showering for 5 min to wait for the water level to subside. The setup is very basic and I can see that some areas like the bathroom will start giving problems in the near future. However still an excellent value for money.

Great budget hotel”

My girlfriend and I spent three days here and the end of November. Very good value for money, perfect location a five minute walk away from the clock tower and all the nightlife if that Is your thing. Clean rooms and comfortable bed, cannot complain . Will DEFINITELY return when back in Chiang Rai

B2 Chiang Rai”

My stay in Chiang Rai was relatively pleasant as the city is rather quiet after 730pm. The hotel stay was good as well. They do however need to improve in certain areas as they do not provide laundry service. Although being a budget hotel, there is a need to provide a few more English language TV channels as most are in Thai. I found some disturbance at night when visitors on upper floors dragged the chair in their rooms. This is due to the fact that all rooms have 2' x 2' marble floor tiles. So, everytime you drag your chair, the sound can be heard below. The hotel is also unable to provide out-going telephone calls (from the rooms). However, the staff at the Reception was kind enough to allow us the use of her mobile. Due to our incapability of communicating in Thai language, we were at times left wanting. Apart from the above, it was a pleasnt stay for my friends and I.

Neat tidy and functional”

B2 Chiang Rai good value for the price. This hotel is no frills it is new and clean. Very little interaction with staff other than checking in and out, what little interaction we had was pleasant and professional, although little english was spoken. The hotel is close to the night market with good carparking.

Great little hotel at a good price. Close to clock tower in centre of town. Will now be my Chiang Rai home when in town.
