Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, but booked separately. The staff checked us in for both days, so we didn't have to check in again and got to stay in the same room. On the first night, there was an issue with the air conditioning. We didn't know who set the timer to turn off the air conditioning, but it kept turning off before an hour had passed. We had to wake up frequently to turn it back on because it was hot. However, we reported it in the morning and the staff promptly fixed it on the same day. It was great. The location was convenient, and there were delicious restaurants nearby. The room we stayed in was clean. If we have the chance to visit Chiang Rai again, we would choose to stay here again.

The room is very clean and the blankets and pillows are provided. The location is great for staying and walking to have breakfast. There are various food options such as pork blood soup, porridge, and Hainanese chicken rice. Additionally, there are convenience stores like 7-11 nearby.
Decent Place to Stay in Chiang Mai”
Room: Had taken the bigger room and it had a living room and bedroom separated by a partial wall. Cleanliness: The hotel and room were well maintained and clean. Bathroom: The bathroom had a tub and hot water was good. Wash basin did not have hot water but running cold water had good flow. Staff: The staff were very polite and helpful. English is spoken by the staff at the reception. Food: I do not recollect seeing a restaurant in the hotel. However, there are many places to eat within walking distance from the hotel. Walking street and the clock tower are nearby. Plenty of food stalls in the vicinity. Safety: The hotel has security guards and the area appeared to be very safe at night.
It’s OK if you don’t need much”
I booked this hotel when it was on extra sale (or something like that), and I have to admit that I didn’t read the reviews. I used to stay in B2 Hua Hin, and it was good. So I thought this B2 Chiang Rai would be the same standard, so I booked it right away. This B2 Chiang Rai is wayyyyy older than B2 Hua Hin. You can tell from its decoration style that it’s been there for quite some times now. I booked for two rooms in the same booking, but they did not put me to a connecting room (and i still don’t understand why). Rooms are old but clean enough. My sister told me she found a blood stain on her towel once, but it was not that big stain. Hot water was provided, but the water ran very slow. You may need to spare 5-10 minutes more to your shower time. No hairdryer provided in the room, and neither at reception counter. (I asked for a hairdryer from them, they said sorry they did not have the hairdryer. Instead, they told me that there was a hair-salon nearby the hotel). Cable tv is poor. Only certain local channels were available. A remote control for TV seemed to have run out of battery. No facial tissues provided in the room, neither was the telephone. I had no problem with the bed, the sheets, the blanket and the pillow though. They were fair enough. But the walls were thin. You could hear pretty much everything from the next room. Location, however, was pretty awesome. The famous golden clock tower is within a walking range. The hotel is located among good food shops and coffee shops as well. There are many choices around the hotel to choose for your breakfast and dinner. Plenty of parking lots for those who have a car. To sum up, if B2 Chiang Rai doesn’t offer an extra low price, other hotels are recommended.

The location is good and the rooms are generally clean and very spacious! They don’t provide hair dryer so please bring your own. We tried to call the front desk for enquiries but no one picked up , but provided that the room cost was so low, we did not expect much and generally satisfied. Will recommend for people who are looking for very budget hotel.
