Bang Na hotels & places to stay

We live in southern Thailand and we use this hotel alot for one night stopovers in Bangkok, it is in close proximity to the international airport, also very close to Central Bang-na shopping centre. The staff are always very helpful and the rooms are of a good standard. The only negative is the swimming pool, really not suitable for young children, borderline dangerous, the swimming pool is only one depth, i think around 2m, but the water is only fill to about 1.5m, so is it impossible for young kids to reach the edge of the pool when they get tired, so they could only safely swim near the access ladder as that is the only place they could grab onto.

This was our first stay at this hotel & have to say, for what we paid, we were very impressed & will happily return. The location in Bang-na / Samut Prakarn is convenient for BITEC & the hotel is only a short walk from Bearing BTS station. Hotel staff were pleasant & helpful & or room (Studio) was spacious, bright, comfortable, in good condition & importantly clean! Yes, coffee, stocked mini bar, toiletries & even bath robes provided. Again for the price paid, breakfast was excellent & an outdoor egg station provided your choice of eggs & bacon. Buffet items were hot & the whole breakfast experience quite pleasant. There's good on site car parking too. We will happily stay again & at current pricing, it's a bargain - as long as you want to be in this area of Bangkok.

First impression was not the best. Reception area did not have aircon nor fans so was very hot while waiting for our turn to check in. However, upon entering the room corridors and rooms. Wow Wow Wow. everything as per photos, rooms are very new and deco is chic and modern. Rooms come with a big bed plus a small single bed tucked nicely at the side. Room for 3 people but priced at a normal room for 2. Very very value for money for the condition of the room but I suppose this is a way to get more guests since it is a new hotel. Grab the offer while it lasts. Locations is not good though, its a 3 min walk into a soi and walking distance you can only find a japanese eatery and a cake shop. outside the soi is a busy main road. no 7/11, petrol kiosk about 5mins further down. However, with a car/grab/uber, the location is pretty good. near to 3 big shopping centres and the Train market srinakarin. About 10mins cab ride to the BTS station. but location does not affect me, will definately stay again.

I love this hotel alot n from hotel to Seacon Mall and night train market only 10min away . But if you plan to go city area like The Platinum , MBK or siam paragon is far . Far from BTS . Nearest BTS is Bang Na but Won't advice you cos is very far . You may get Grab or Uber over . Local food place nearby . Nice and quite clean . 7-11 too . Breakfast selection not much . The breakfast about 200Baht . If You are very very hungry or lazy just go to level Seven for your meals but if possible walk out the hotel. Overall is Good and price is reasonable.

The rooms on promotion are usually in the new block, with rates from 700 baht to 1000 baht per nights. The air-conditioning in the room wasn't working as splendid, but we didn't have problem sleeping through the night because our day time in the conference was tiring. Hot water was only working on the last day, but at least it was working. The other accessibility in the room were TV and fridge with complimentary 2 bottles of water per day, which was pretty decent for a 700 baht per day room. The staff was simply amazing! They greet you well, speak to you well, attend to all your needs when you need them. It might have helped a lot with me knowing Thai, but they were really nice. Arrangements for taxi everyday to BITEC was never an issue, and there was definitely a personal touch to the homey hospitality the staff gave. Location of AVANA wasn't hard to get to. Get a taxi from the airport for about 200bath to 500baht; or a Mini-van for 1300baht(fitting 10 person) to AVANA took only 30 minutes max. The landmarks around AVANA was BITEC, Central Bang Na Mall and the Bang Na BTS Station. Any decent driver would know where to get to AVANA. Taxi was just a 40baht ride from AVANA to BITEC. I almost forgot, WIFI isn't included in their package. So for those who can't live with WiFI, AVANa may not be the best hotel. You can pay for an hourly,daily and weekly plan; but getting a 1GB plan from the nearest 7-11 for 79BHT is much worth the price, unless you hate walking. Overall, if I had another conference in BITEC, I would still go for AVANA. It's pretty accessible, comfortable, and the staff was good. Their cafe has decent food, while their chinese restaurant probably is an overkill for those in budget. Going to Central Bang Na for their street food or food court is much better.

The hotel room was old and needed renovation. The sliding door opened by itself and airconditioning was not strong enough. The hotel is near Central Bang na with plenty of food and a cinema. Opposite is Big C, which has plently of snacks and thai groceries. ITs about 30kms from the city and will take 20-25min if there is no traffic early in the morning. There is a bar/restaurent next door and a few along the street. Motorbike to Central is 15baht and 1.5kms away. when coming home from shopping at night, i highly recommend this as the whole street is a jam packed in traffic and looks like it could take 30min to get home, which you might be better off walking.....

Oakwook is always a good stay ,even is in Bang Na but you can find what you need and easy to reach the Sukhumvit area if you want to enjoy at full ..or just relax stay in the Pool and may go for shopping in the near Mega BangNa ..or Central and many place around Bangkok is Huge and full of life ..in every corner ..is very close to the expo area BITEC if you're in BKK for exibitions ..

First of all the hotel is beautifully furnished - the decor is new, classy and very comfortable. Rooms come with all amenities including a washing machine, which is a useful addition. Internet speeds are good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool is small but nice. Security guards were also very friendly, the place is well looked after and very safe. Only a short walking distance to a great local restaurant on the corner of Bang Na Trad. Only issue with the hotel is that they closed the gym for refurbishment as we arrived! Very frustrating. Having said that, the surroundings were nice and quiet, it's close to the airport, and although a little bit above budget, it was worth it for 2 nights if extreme comfort. Would recommend.

this is my favorite hotel for a couple days stay prior to departing bkk wind down from your thailand holiday and relax in good room and terriffic pool. shopping galore available in bang na area with seacon sauare within short walking distance. lots of steet side food venues outside hotel and places to buy food to take back to room. 7-!1 also nearby hotel seems to have majority of guest from asian tour groups. sometime quite noisy even in restaurant i found breakfast very good with nice selection of food items spacious dining area. try the egg omelets--made to order. very good. room prices fluctuate month to month. check agoda website

we have stayed here many times now , never before left a review , time to rectify that . This is a relatively new hotel completed in 2015 . Stayed here 5 times now and have noticed it get busier over last 18 months with good reason , the staff are well trained and will accomodate requests with a posotive friendly response . The hotel is modern with good design features . the rooms follow this epoth well laid out and comfortable big bed . the bathroom is of good size with an excelent shower room . all in all really good hotel within easy reach of BTS (bearing station) will always stay here when in bang na .

This is a good value option in a great location with good street food options as well as 2 711's within 100m. Also central plaza bang na is about a 5 min walk away. It's about 3km from the BTS but there are busses running frequently from the mall or I actually really enjoyed walking through the back streets to udom Suk and chose this option most of the time. My only criticisms are that the air-conditioner in my room (212) was quite noisy and also had a bright light displaying the temperature that disturbed my sleep a little. Also one of the neighbouring houses likes to play music quite loudly from about 4am. My room was at the back so if you're gonna stay here maybe request a room at the front then the music shouldn't be an issue. The only other issue I had was some staining on the sheets and one of the pillows. I know the place is cheap but even so, a certain basic level should be expected. All in all I would still consider here when next staying in bang na.

Laselle can be access by a few routes, Sukhumvit 105, bang na trad, bearing. Laselle Suites and Spa is actually near to Central Bang na, Big C Bang na if there is no traffic jam. Carpark: Yes, outdoor with partial shelter. Check In: Fast (Less than 5 minutes) Deposit: Can't recall, this review is written some time after my trip. Security > -No keycard is needed to access the lift. -Keycard is needed to access the lift area. -No double lock in the room Wifi: During the 3 nights stay, Wifi is inconsistent, ranges from fair to poor. This place is fresh, clean, well run, and is great value for money. The room was big, with a very comfortable bed, a small balcony, excellent wifi connection, and a spotlessly clean bathroom. Loft 77 is, however, very much a hotel for travellers leaving from or transiting through Bangkok (tuk tuk was 300 baht). It is simply too far away from the main areas of town to make staying here a good base for sightseeing, which is a shame because I really liked this place. On the plus side, though, we were bang in the middle of authentic Bangkok and got to sample some tasty, cheap food from the restaurants and stalls lining the streets - traveller beware, though, there are no English language menus but the point and smile approach got us fed!

I spent 12 days there in their larger room. It was a very nice room, great bed. Wonderful maids. Its a small hotel with key card entry after dark. The hotel is a family business and the owner upgraded my room after a small problem I had with my reservation thru Agodas online system. At no charge! This was customer service at its best! The area is close to the Onnut skytrain station so you can get down town in mins. The hotel has a mini laundry, with very reasonable machine rates. They give you 10% off on drinks at their coffee shop. Very good capuccinos and smoothes. Every day they have alittle breackfast menu its only 50 baht and quite delicious! You get a free drink after you sign up on their card system, after 10 or so drinks. The security will get you a cab any time you ask. The staff doesnt know much English so practice your Thai. They have such a good heart and try to make your stay wonderful. I want to thank them all for giving me 12 wonderful days. If you want to stay longer, like a month to a year you can ask and see if they have any furnished appartments for rent. They only had one open when I asked. Its a great place and you will enjoy it. If i had anything negative to say it would be their lack of English. There were only 2 ladies in management that spoke english. I gave them a few pointers on upgrading there cab le tv and get atleast one english channel. The doors on the rooms need closing devices so they dont bang when people leave them open. But other than that for me it was one of the best hotels i have stayed in while in Bangkok. The price, location, staff and ambiance cannot be beat! Kapun kap!

This resort is small but located near Bearing and Bang na BTS station and the highway to leave and enter Bangkok. Also Bearing was till a fwe years ago the starting point of the line not many people are at the train when enter so can sit up to mo chit. It is ideal location when come to BKK by car or on holiday since all location in Bangkok are easy to approach. Just mind BTS closes at 24.00 hrs. and starts at 07.00 AM. Do not expect much for luxury but price against performance is excellent. No bad word on it.

I arrived at BKK early in the morning. This hotel was convenient since it was near the airport and they allow you to check in as early as 5:00 am. I booked "Standard cottage" for two nights but when I checked in I was given a bungalow room. The bunglalow was awful. I am sure all the negative comments you see here are from the people who stayed in the bungalows. This hotel has a hidden gem. While you are staying, be sure to get a massage from this hotel. I had many Thai massages while I was staying Thailand but by far I had best massage from this hotel.
