I booked a plan that allows access to the club lounge, expecting the Banyan Tree's name value. It greatly exceeded my expectations, and I had a wonderfully comfortable stay. The only negative was the check-in response. When I approached the front desk on the first floor to check in, they took my passport and told me, "It's busy right now, so please have a seat and wait. A staff member will guide you in turn." They did not even confirm my name. After waiting for about 10 minutes, a male staff member who spoke Japanese came and said, "Guests of the club lounge check in on the club floor. Sorry for the inconvenience." I thought that if the first staff member had confirmed my name, I wouldn’t have had this wasted time, which made me feel slightly uneasy about the service. I also reflected that I should have gone directly to the club lounge. Although it was just before the 2 PM check-in time, I was able to use the tea time in the club lounge while waiting for my room to be ready. However, even by 2:15 PM, I hadn't received my key card. When I inquired with the lounge staff if the room was still not ready, they said, "It's currently being prepared, and we will bring the key to your seat as soon as it's done." In the end, I was able to enter the room around 2:30 PM. Since I was using the club lounge during that time, it was fine, but I felt it could have been a smoother and less stressful check-in process. If it happened because I requested a late check-out, then that's understandable. However, when I arrived in the room, all the annoyances from check-in quickly disappeared. The room was far beyond my expectations. I was overwhelmed by the size of the room. It was spacious enough to be called a junior suite, and the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was stunning, which already made me very satisfied. I could also see Lumpini Park in the distance, and it felt like a view that symbolizes Bangkok along with the city skyline. When I leaned closer to the window, I could see Icon Siam as well, which offered a magnificent view. The room was equipped with incense that needed to be lit and a type of oil lamp that warms oil, creating a wonderful atmosphere with pleasant smells. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub, making it convenient to use both. To my surprise, there were both bath salts and bath gel prepared. I have never experienced a hotel room this perfect. Another surprise was how quickly the laundry was done. After arriving in the room, I sent two pieces of clothing for laundry, and they told me it would be ready by the next day. The next morning, around 9 AM, when I sent another two pieces, I returned around 2 PM to find all four items already hung up in the closet. It might have been a coincidence, but I was amazed by the speed and did a double-take. And since this was complimentary, I couldn't hide my astonishment. When I returned from cocktail hour in the club lounge, the turn-down service had been done. The incense I had used was replenished, and the oil fragrance had been lit. Slippers and water were provided, and I felt the service was well-organized. Moreover, the mattress and sheets on the bed were the best I’ve ever experienced in terms of comfort. Not too soft, not too hard, the feeling of being wrapped and the smoothness of the sheets created a blissful harmony. The services in the club lounge, both in terms of content and personnel, were very satisfying. They guided me to good seats by the window, and they quickly asked what I needed to drink. The food presentations at each time slot were abundant and sufficient to serve as meals. During cocktail hour, the staff came around pouring wine at the tables, and they also delivered cocktails and mocktails to the seats. Everyone was smiling, and the lounge felt very comfortable. The breakfast was also satisfying without needing to go to the restaurant in the basement. The egg dishes were almost the same as the ones offered, and they also had a live noodle kitchen in the club lounge, showcasing their completeness. Additionally, the basement restaurant was somewhat narrow and crowded, so on the second day, I only used the club lounge for meals. Overall, it was a hotel where I could experience the utmost comfort. I would love to use it again when I go to Bangkok. I also want to stay at this hotel in other countries.

I’ve visited Thailand many times and stayed at numerous five-star hotels, but for some reason, I had never chosen Banyan Tree before — mainly because it’s not directly next to a BTS station. After this trip, I honestly regret not staying here sooner. It was one of the most satisfying and memorable experiences I’ve ever had. Before checking in, I realized I had accidentally left my passport at my previous hotel. Luckily, there was a Korean staff member named Jinho who kindly and efficiently helped me resolve the situation. I was so grateful for his assistance — he continued to be a huge help throughout our entire stay. This trip was a special one, celebrating my daughter’s coming of age. When I mentioned this during the booking, the hotel surprised us with an adorable and delicious cake. It was such a heartfelt gesture that truly touched me, and it’s a moment I’ll never forget. The breathtaking view and the unforgettable memories we made at Vertigo Moon Bar added even more magic to our stay. Every single staff member we encountered was flawlessly kind and professional — we didn’t experience a single moment of inconvenience. Banyan Tree completely won my heart. The next time I visit Bangkok, I’ll choose Banyan Tree without a doubt.

Elegance, tranquility, luxury and hospitality are my summary of Banyan Tree Bangkok. The high-quality amenities, luxurious accommodations, and superior service offerings make it an excellent property. 10-minute walking distance to Sala Daeng BTS Station, and this hotel is not easily spotted —a perfect sanctuary of the bustling part of the city, a true urban oasis for a vibrant city life. The restaurants and sky bar in Banyan Tree are renowned for the stunning and phenomenal views. My excitement had no end in sight. The room was dated the last time I came (10 plus years ago, and it was also my first time in Thailand), but my suite this time was exceptional since it's well equipped, roomy, neat, modern and extremely comfortable. The aroma burner and the lemongrass spray truly brought me surprises, which was my first time to come across such things inside a hotel room. Not only the fragrance, the slippers and toothbrushes are worth mentioning too. It might sound unusual and comical, but the slippers are really able to keep my feet nice as they are soothingly soft and comfy. The handle of the toothbrush is tough and smooth, and curve of it fits my hand so well Im not exaggerating. What is more is that the male receptionist Fong was absolutely helpful. He diligently helped me solve the issue I had with my credit card. His patience and kindness were deeply appreciated. He helped make a few phone calls and he definitely deserves a thumb up! All these things I experienced with Banyan Tree left me a very remarkable memory of my stay. This is an authentic 10/10 hotel and I absolutely adore it.
