As others have mentioned, I received a confirmation email for check-in after 10 PM, but when I arrived after 4 PM and tried to check in my luggage, I was able to check in normally. There is a check-in machine that supports Japanese, so there was no trouble. I arrived at Taipei Station by express train from Taoyuan International Airport, which is about a 10-minute walk. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby (only 7-Eleven and FamilyMart), which is very convenient. There are no amenities, and the shower room only has body soap and shampoo, so I brought what I needed. You can also procure items from the convenience store. The front desk operates 24 hours. At the front desk, communication is basically in English (as I can't speak Chinese), but some staff may not understand English very well. In such cases, Google Translate comes in handy. The room is small, but the bed is larger than average. The suitcase can be stored under the bed. I had a comfortable five-night stay without any inconveniences. This is a hotel with good cost performance.

quite easy to navigate around the area, walkable to xi men ding area as well! really enjoyed my short stay, the room was clean! walls were thin though so I could hear everyone walking by and people from the next room if they were talking too loudly or had the tv turned on too loudly but overall for the location and price, I would recommend :)

The hotel has a very convenient location — it’s close to the Taipei Airport MRT and 228 Peace Park, and you can even walk to Ximending. The room itself is okay, but considering the price, it feels a bit small and there is no window. That said, since we only stayed for one night and didn’t have any luggage, it was still manageable and quite comfortable for a short stay.

“Tiny Room, Hard Bed, but the Location Is Straight-Up Cheating”
4/5 ★★★★☆ Look, I’m 183 cm and the bed is basically a punishment plank that stops somewhere around my shins. Room is so compact you have to step into the hallway to change your mind, and the mattress firmness is apparently calibrated to “samurai backbone training.” If you’re over 175 cm or value things like “leg room” and “not waking up with lower-back opinions,” you’ve been warned. BUT… the location is so unfairly good it feels like cheating. Literally 30 seconds from Longshan Temple MRT exit, Huaxi Street Night Market starts the second you walk out the door, and Longshan Temple Park itself is right across the street—perfect for morning tai-chi eavesdropping or late-night people-watching when the night market is in full chaos mode. You can smell the stinky tofu and hear the temple chants from bed. For the price we paid, that’s comedy gold. Everything was clean, shower was hot and strong, staff were friendly, Wi-Fi fast enough for doom-scrolling night-market food pics. We basically used the room as an expensive luggage locker and a place to collapse after eating our body weight in pepper buns. Verdict: If you want luxury and space, keep walking. If you want the absolute dead-center of old-school Taipei vibes for cheap and you’re out exploring 20 hours a day anyway, this is your spot. Four stars because the location and the park literally next door make the rock-hard cot and hobbit bed almost… charming? Would stay again and just laugh about it over beers in the night market five minutes later.
