The staff there are well-trained! They are very friendly and patient, and also enthusiastic to actively introduce a lot of attractions and famous restaurants. The hostel is near the ocean, so you can easily enjoy the sunset and sunrise only if you go out to the balcony of your room! It’s highly recommended to stay here if you visit Hualien!!!! Love it 😍😍😍

A beautiful spot right at the beachfront”
A lovely place in a lovely city! You can feel the heart that goes into everythin in this place, from the rooms to the breakfast. You get a perfect view of the sunrise from the rooms, in case there is one (and if you can get up early enough). The night market is just a five minutes walk, if you want to go to the center of Hualien, its a bit far to walk (20 to 30 minutes). The only thing that doesn't seem thoroughly thought through is the installment of a completely open toilet/bathroom area in our room: To get some privacy the only way is to close the main curtain of the room - and if you forget to lower the blinds on the balcony, even people from outside walking on the beach promenade can watch you (being on the toilet or in the bath).

Excellent hospitality and awesome room”
We were warmly welcomed by Jane's mom. She assisted us with check-in and gave us detailed explanation on the surroundings (e.g. tasty food, souvenir shop, night market). We were told that breakfast is served at 8am, however we booked our Taroko tour to set off at 8am beforehand. Hence Jane prepared and packed us some bagel and fresh cut fruits to eat on the road. I would say she really went extra mile to make sure her customers are well taken care of. She will selflessly share all the information she knows if you have any question regarding Hualien. The room was sparkling clean and has awesome view of Pacific Ocean from the bathroom and balcony. There is elevator within the building hence you do not have to worry if you have heavy and bulky baggage. The stay is walking distance from Tonghua Night Market where you can enjoy plenty of tasty local food. Alternatively you can rent bicycle from them to travel to nearby shops. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Hualien next time!

Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted with much joy and warmth from the hotel owner. The room was clean, modern and beautiful. The bed was so comfy too! In the morning we were made a beautiful breakfast of grilled egg sandwich, fruit, salad and coffee/tea/juice. The hotel is situated just off the main ocean promenade and walking distance to the night market and other exciting shopping areas of Hualien. My husband And I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel

A superb stay!”
We only stayed for one night, but everything exceeded our expectations. The room was very well-designed, and Jane was an excellent host! She even gave my kids a surprise birthday cake even though their birthday was the day before we checked-in. Location is good too, just a short walk to the night market. We were able to view the sunrise from our balcony. Will recommend to my friends who are visiting Hualian!

The stay was memorable! The room was well-designed (that we can have great sea view), modern and cosy. Owner Jane was very helpful and friendly. The dog Waka 瓦卡 was cute to the max. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to Hualien.

It’s such a great place I want to keep this secret to myself ”
Beautiful accommodation, with great attention to details to aesthetics and comfort. Beautiful sunrise and great breakfast were a plus. The only downside (in a hilarious way) is the automatic toilet seat that keeps opening/closing - freaky even. Note that the bathroom and toilet faces the street, so remember to close the blinds!

Location was next to the beach. Guests can rent bicycles to tour the beachfront & access Nanbin Park. Jane, the proprietor, was very friendly & helpful, providing detailed explanation & recommendations on nearby places to eat & visit. She even drove to the train station to pass us the train tickets when we left them behind in the hotel by accident. A very big thank you to her. Breakfast prepared by Jane was delicious & healthy, with the freshly made soy milk a must try. Waka, the Shiba was very adorable. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for one night. The room is clean, spacious and had a modern deco. I specially like the view from room. Jane was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good and we could go to night market by 10 mins walk. Everything is just so prefect and we would definitely come back here again! Highly recommend!

Luxurious Loft style ”
We stayed at the "Mountain View Room" and it was tastefully furnished. Smart lock, Wood-finish on the walls, classy bedside tables. Waking up to a view of the mountain range was wonderful. Breakfast individually cooked by Jane was great as well. Walking distance to Nanbin Park and the Night Market. And Waka (the resident Shiba Inu) was very amusing!

Jen is simply a wonderful host and she was evermore kind and generous with us hosts. It was raining and we couldn’t make it to our destination, but at the last minute, Jen provided us with a room impromptu and was useful with giving us her advice. And when my friend forgotten his allergy pillow, Jen was sweet enough to send it back to us! Top marks!

This time I stayed in a sea view quadruple room on the second floor. Because I was traveling with my family, the standards of the elders were higher. After staying for one night, everyone agreed that it was a perfect accommodation experience! The location of the sea view in the first row is superb. Before check-in, the owner of the homestay warmly introduced the facilities in the room and the surrounding attractions. The bathtub in the quadruple room is super large and comfortable to soak in. You can enjoy the sea view outside the window. The homestay also reminds you of the time of sunrise every day. You can go to the beach to watch the sunrise by crossing a small road in the early morning. The balcony of the quadruple room is also very large. You can enjoy the sea breeze and drink while enjoying the sea breeze in the evening. The interior of the store is very new and clean. You can feel that the owner of the homestay is very dedicated to operating it. The breakfast is also great. The owner personally cooks delicious breakfast. The homemade soy milk and traditional red tea are very delicious. I also ate LV-grade mangoes grown by the owner's hometown that day. When checking out, the owner will also give a small souvenir and a handmade card, which is very warm.

Simple and comfortable room”
The owner is very friendly and easy to talk to! Although the street view room is not big, it has everything you need. The water pressure in the shower is strong and very comfortable! Breakfast is a set meal for one person. You can dine in the kitchen or enjoy breakfast next to Waka in the lobby. It's a great pleasure. Waka is very cute and allows people to pet her, but she doesn't pay much attention to people.
