Yes, the internet connection was a little slow at times and there were a few minor things here and there, but nothing that took away from the overall great stay. For the price we paid, it exceeded expectations. Highly recommended if you’re looking for comfort, friendly service, and real value in Makati. I have stayed for 10 nights there!

I've stayed in many hotels in manilla over time this by far has suited my needs the best I originally planned to stay for a couple of nights but I have extended my stay The room is a nice size the bed is very comfortable the daily maid service is very good the pool area although indoor is a nice size the fitness gym next to it caters for everything I require I didn't add on breakfast so I can't comment on it I will hope to try it on my next visit If I was to say what would improve everything even more would be to have a water station on each floor as the bottles of water provided are really small and could do with more water at times also in the bathrooms if they had a shower gel dispensing units I think that would benefit both of these ideas would cut down on plastic waste I will be staying again after this stay many thanks

We recently stayed at Berjaya Hotel Makati for 3 nights and 4 days, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made us feel right at home. Everyone was incredibly friendly, respectful, and accommodating — even during the late hours of the night, they attended to our needs promptly and with a smile. Their exceptional hospitality truly sets this hotel apart from other 3-star hotels in Makati. Our room was spacious, clean, and cozy — perfect for both relaxation and remote work. Housekeeping did a fantastic job maintaining the cleanliness of our room daily, which we greatly appreciated. The entire hotel is very well-kept, with a fresh and pleasant scent throughout, and we didn’t encounter a single issue with pests or cleanliness during our stay. We traveled as a family of three, including our 10-year-old son, and what made our stay extra special was how much our son loved the hotel. He even preferred staying in the room over exploring the city — a rare thing for him, especially in a place we've never been to before. That level of comfort and security means the world to us. The room lighting and overall ambience were warm and inviting — great for winding down after a day out or getting some work done remotely. Very respectful of my religion and my religious needs. They were quick to accommodate around my religion without hesitation. More importantly, The room was extremely clean not one insect in sight which tends to be common problem in that area. The large king bed which comes with their standard room was highly comfortable. I also personally liked the high ceilings in my room which in my opinion was an added touch of elegance. The only down side was that the water only stayed hot for about 15 minutes. However, this is common in many southeast asian hotels. The noise from the streets was audible from my room, but that is probably due to the fact that I was on a lower floor which I specifically requested.

“My honest review”
For a Muslim lady staying in different hotels every 2 to 5 days for many months here in manila, its so difficult to find a food that is halal. So that's the first reason why I chose BERJAYA from the first time. Ill start with, Berjaya hotel staff are one of the best people I met ❤️ they are so friendly from the opening the door until the check out. I remember ***, ***, oh the Malaysian chef ***, ***, dan, ***, ***, I forgot the person from the buffet, the engineer also. I stayed in berjaya for two night. Booked two nights here. But separate booking from different app. 1st night: I told ms. *** that i was claustrophobic so I need just a window, just the curtain to open. I was in ***I guess but I couldn't open the window curtains since the opposite of the window is another hotels windows so as a Muslim lady travelling, I couldn't open it. They transferred me in ***. Which is the view is so breathtaking 😍 ma shaa Allah. But downside is the band on a nearby night activity/club will not make you sleep i waited till they finish until 11:37 PM. After that, there was a sound nearby clubs, if you are sensitive to sound like me, you cannot sleep. At almost 1 AM, I called to the reception to change my room since I couldnt sleep (BTW I was post operated from my left eye) so I needed sleep. Luckily they changed me again to another room which was the ***. I called again 😅 to the reception because the AC is not working. Its not colder than the rest of the rooms that I have transferred to. At 1:40 AM, the AC engineer checked the AC. He said there was a loose bulb. But it was okay and I could wait for 15 minutes. It really didnt get cold that much but its okay. I just want to sleep. However. I couldn't because I could hear the noise outside the room. Literally even the sound of the snore sleeping from another room. 😅 the sound of the motorcycle, horns and all. So I didnt know how I slept. But I was crying due to pitiful situation. I had also mosquito bite hehe 😅 from that room. At morning, I talked to the front desk, *** was there and ms. ***. I thought *** is snobbish but she isnt. 🤣.only maybe that she didnt smile a lot. I was asking them to change a room again because I booked here in agoda, room assigned on arrival, but mr. *** told me that the room that was assigned to me was a deluxe. So I have to stay under my category. And I cried in front of them 😢 because I told them I booked not the deluxe one but whatever available on that day, can be given to me, and give a little consideration since I had post operation and I didnt sleep for a night and the hassle that I had been during my stay. They shown me the 23th floor premiere type and would charge me supposed to be but since I was telling them about I didnt chose the deluxe which is higher than what I paid for in the deluxe category. So they gave me the premiere room. On that night is slept 12 hours 🤣. I didnt hear any noise from that side room number ***.. and I was just staying whole day in my room. I like the room too much. Because the vibe is good. I left the place happy 😊 The people working here are so courteous and so kind. They try to help in anyway they can. I can feel them that they are trying to help me in my situation but since the building is old and need really to be updated. Maybe ill come back for the 3 reasons: the staff and the halal dining. Oh, the chef is fantastic and really go extra mile to make sure that the guest can have a good breakfast in the hotel. So if you want to stay here in berjaya, please book the premiere type of rooms or all rooms located in higher floors. And at the right side of the main entrance far from streets and the clubs. Then search for chef *** in the dining he is accommodating perosn and would love to make your stay pleasant there 😀 All in all facility, and location is not good but staff if I could rate 15 from 10 , I would.
