Fantastic Views at Bue Hill”
stayed at the blue hill resort for 4 days, was supposed to be 2 but extended because figured we were not going to find a hotel with such amazing views for the price we paid! The hotel is five mins on moped from main Haad Rin beach/town and is located on a hillside overlooking the sea and the islands beyond. Rooms are spacious and clean and in the Villa's you have a really good sized balcony where you can sit and look out to sea. or sunbathe in total privicy! The beach directly below hotel is not all amazing but if you enjoy beautiful views , even from your shower! i would recommend at least a night here! we booked again through agoda and got a fabulous deal!

This is a fabulous hotel”
The location is amazing, views of ocean and Koh Samui. Villas are staggered up a steep hill, but there is a very funky chairlift/elevator that takes you up and down to the beach and pool. Loved the room, big with a polished concrete floor with a large balcony. Very quiet and private. You have views from the bed, the shower and the toilet. The staff were just the most obliging I have come across. When I complained about the air conditioning being slow they immediately moved me to another room with a newer unit. The room was cleaned promptly each day with fresh towels, water etc. breakfasts were good. In short I could not fault the service in this hotel or the friendliness. And surprisingly I loved Haad Rin beach, it was clean and hearing the waves lapping the shore at night a delight. Sure the resort needs maintenance, but what doesn't in Thailand. That does not outweigh all the positives of this resort.

Last chance before they close for refurbishment ”
We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Staff told us in about 3 months they will be closing Blue Hill and opening a new resort right next door in grand Angkor style, which we were welcomed to have a look at, and they are getting very close to finishing. The work done next door so far is incredibly themed and I can guarantee won't be in the same price bracket as Blue Hill, so enjoy these views cheap while you can. Yes, the rooms are dated, no they won't be doing anything further to the resort to fix the things that you can see need work, not until the entire resort changes. But the adorable elevator (really a tiny funicular) and the comfortable pool, and the million dollar views, made Blue Hill really worth the very reasonable price even with rather lacklustre food (though very pleasant surprise for a resort in this price range to offer room service) and worn around the edges exteriors and interiors. This resort won't be around much longer so if you are on a budget, definitely check it out now, as you won't be able to next year.

we stayed at the blue hill for 5 nights. it is a really nice place built on a hill just at the end of haad rin nai (sunset). we booked a villa (bungalow) instead of a hotel room, which was really spacious and had stunning views as all the cliff side of the bungalow is only windows! there was great view even from the bathroom! free internet is also available with 2 pcs at the reception. the pool is nice but a bit small. the hotel has got a taxi, so they drive you anywhere with reasonable prices. the problem was that there were too many steps to go to the reception and restaurant from the villa. another thing is that blue hill is located a bit far from haad rin nok and the village, on one hand this is good cause it's really quiet, one the other hand you have to walk for about 20 minutes to reach the party beach. it might sound easy but as i said, blue hill is located on a hill, which means that it's easy to go down but really difficult to go up. a good idea is to go from the beach, but we didn't try it during the night. overall we had a good experience there and if choose haad rin it's really possible that we stay there again.

Wonderful views for low prices”
I was very pleased with my recent stay at the Blue Hill Resort. When checking in, I was greeted with great hospitality and warm smiles. As the name suggests, the resort sits on a rather large hill. There are rooms lining the hill from top to bottom. The rooms towards the top of the hill are easy to get to from the road. The more expensive bungalows seemed to be towards the bottom of the hill which was quite a hike down many stairs. These rooms are closer in proximity to the beach, so it's a trade off. My room was very nice. It seemed to be made entirely out of some kind of rock or cement. For the price, the amenities (mini bar, bath robes, big tv...) were very impressive. The location was great for me, but you will have to walk about 30 min up and down steep hills (or 5 min on a motorbike) to the main beach (Haad Rin). The only con that I can think of is that they need to take better care of the pool area. They have a beautiful infinity pool, but all the chairs and surrounding area seems a bit old and tarnished. I definitely recommend this hotel for couples and people who want a quiet get away from the madness on Haad Rin.

Great stay in Koh Phangan. Exceeded expectations.”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Hill Resort. It has really nice rooms with amazing views. The only setback with that is that there are a lot of stairs to climb to and from the rooms/swimming pool - but with that comes a bit more privacy in the room and the nice view. The pool is superb, very romantic. The only other setback with the pool and patios on the rooms is that there are red ants. The restaurant are is really nice, good view, pool table, really friendly and helpful staff. Food is great. It is located right on a beach, but the beach is small and not really for swimming. There are taxi's readily available 24/7 to Haad Rin where ther is nightlife, parties on the beach, beaches to swim and shopping. If you don't mind being a 15min drive away from the hussle and bussle, this place is really beautiful and tranquil and highly recommended.

The bluehill resort is a peaceful place set into the cliffs ,it does have super views of koh phangan,location is about 20 mins on foot or 50 barts on the taxi bike into haad rin ,the staff are very helpful ,very nice breakfast,also clean rooms,i would stay here again for sure

Lovely bungalows with amazing sea views ”
i stayed at blue hill with 2 girlfriends for 4 nights during the january 2011 full moon. we loved our bungalow, it had a great balcony to watch the beautiful sunsets. the pool was a great size and temperature with nice sunbaking chairs. we didn't mind the stairs to our room, we liked getting a little bit of exercise. there are so many taxi/trucks that drive past or the resort has a car - you can charge the trips into town to your room. although you generally need a lift into the town at night, blue hill is a great escape from all the music during the day while you recover from the night before... pricey for thailand but well worth it.

After a long list of survey for a place to stay, FATE had probably brought us together / to-get-her (her = Blue Hill Resort). We were surprised that the owner of the resort was there to welcomed us & led us to our room. All of your family a.k.a staffs, from back end to front of house staffs are very welcoming with great smiles, helpful, polite, informative & great to chat with. The resort have swimming pool, taxi services, GREAT sea view, nice beach and 1st ever experienced for me, a resort with a tram/escalator to bring us close to the beach from our room...How cool is that! Really looking forward to come back in the near future, especially to experience yet another great resort by you...the Le Palais Hotel (very unique & picturesque view & design). P/S : This is my personal experienced toward this resort on the days that I stayed there (30th June 2017 to 2nd July 2017).

Amazing ”
My sister and I have been traveling around Thailand and Laos for a month and then went down to the islands to chill. I found the hotel on agoda and was impressed with the pictures but the price really got me. Everytine I have booked something that looks too good o be true in Asia it usually is, except for Blue Hill. It's even better than the photos. The place is very private and the pool and private beach are even better! The location is also a selling point in the low tide you can walk along the Beach right into the heart of town it's about a 10min walk. The killer steps down to the beach and back up are ruthless but after drinking and eating you'll need the exercise anyway!

Best hotel in had rin!”
We came for one night and stay for 5!! After scanning almost all hotel in the had rin the blue hill is the best one!. Its very close to the center 3 minutes by bike, the staff is the friendlieat we met in thailand and the view... Spectacular panoramic view from the room even from the toilet you get the ocean to yourself!!! For conclusion dont waist time and book it. Eyal buchamn

Lovely hotel and great service, amazing views”
We ended up staying a week in this hotel. The rooms feature amazing ocean views, with astonishing sunset. Hotel was very clean, and staff took care of our every need (Towels, soaps, water etc...). Hotel has a nice restaurant with decent prices and good choice. breakfast was very good. Hotel has nice pool and private beach - though the beach on haad-rin itself is much better. Free internet was fast and very useful. hotel is 15 minutes walk to haadrin or 5 minutes drive (50 THB p'p. Cons - hotel elevator didn't work, and it was very exhausting going to the pool and up every time.

Great view of the sea”
The view of the sea from the room was near perfection and the location of the resort was superb. It wasnt too far from the town centre at Haad Rin but neither was it too near that it got to our nerves from the sheer number of other travelers. The breakfast was of a generous portion and the staff were friendly and helpful with loads of tips of holiday ideas.

Blue Hill is a nice place. Long winding road up from town but the view is worth it, and you can easily walk to Haat Rin on the beach in less than 10 minutes. The elevator is really cool, as is the infinity pool, beach bar, and terraces outside each room. Spend the extra and get a suite. The main hotel building echoes and amplifies every sound.

i was staying 2days , when i got there the view was fatastic because it is loacated on the hill and you can see the beach in your room balcony . room canditional is very clen also rest room too. i think they are remodeling recently. and location is 5 minthe to Rin beach by taix. also you can rent a motorbicycle in resort . so we was riding near island. and All staff was very kind and perfect. i will come again 100% !

Lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly staff”
This hotel is at the very far end of hadrin beach (not the full moon beach the quieter one). It is built into a hillside which means the views are fantastic. Pool is very clean and everything is maintained well. There is a lift that takes you between the pool/beach and the reception. It is an absolute necessity as the climb is very steep at times. Haad rin is walkable but the best way is along the beach missing out the climb. Negatives? Not really any to think of!

The view is just spectacular from the rooms and the facilities are brilliant. Koh Phangan town is 5 minutes in a taxi. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Staff are so helpful and accommodating. The beds were so comfy. The restaurant has lovely food and the views from the restaurant are fabulous. Overall we could not fault the hotel.

this is a really nice place to stay. a little further from haad rin then i thought it would be, but still only a 20 minute walk either by road or by beach. the hotel has an infinity pool and lounge deck. an outside elevator that takes you to the pool and the beach without having to walk up the steep stairs. the food was very good and the staff very very pleasant! friendliest staff our who month in thailand. would stay again for sure.

Gorgeous view and nice rooms”
Located just outside of Haad Rin, Blue Hill Resort is in a convenient location. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a lift that can take you down to the pool and beach area which are both beautiful. The staff is friendly. There is a restaurant on the resort. You can walk to Haad Rin in about 20 minutes if you walk along the beach or get a taxi and be there in 5 minutes.
