My recent stay at the Bonvital Wellness & Gastro Hotel Heviz was, on the whole, quite enjoyable. The central location was a definite highlight, making it easy to explore Heviz. I also appreciated the quality of the food, particularly the good selection of vegetarian choices. Furthermore, the room was spacious and comfortably warm, which contributed to a good night's sleep. However, there were a few aspects that I found somewhat unexpected for a hotel of this nature. The spa hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., felt a little restrictive for a wellness-focused establishment. It was also a bit peculiar to have to specifically request the sauna attendant to activate the infrared cabin and sauna infusions. Another point of surprise was the towel policy. While I understand the need for environmental consciousness, the policy of changing towels only every three days, with an extra charge of 500 HUF (around €1.25) for more frequent changes, seemed a little out of step with the typical expectations of a wellness hotel. Additionally, the daily parking fee of €8.50, on top of the tourist tax, was something to factor into the overall cost. Despite these minor points, my stay was generally positive, and I appreciated the comfortable rooms and convenient location.

“Amazing Room Opposite Thermal Bath”
We had the large apartment style room. So much space and located directly opposite the thermal baths. Room was tastefully decorated and bed very comfortable. Dining room very bland with no view but food reasonable. Make sure you go for a walk to the wine area in Egregy...fabulous.
