Basically, since it's a residence, the facilities are not very excellent, but I felt that the rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced and there were many Korean menu options. However, the beverages like iced coffee and iced tea were a bit bland, and there weren’t many kinds of fruit juices, which was a bit disappointing. Sharing facilities like the swimming pool with the Intercontinental seems to be an advantage. The swimming pool was large and not crowded, but there weren't many places with umbrellas to provide shade, which was a bit unfortunate. The location seems ideal for enjoying the infrastructure of the Korean town in Miding. However, it takes about 30 minutes to travel to the main tourist spots around Hoan Kiem Lake. During rush hours, the travel time seems to double, so those heading out early in the morning for tours should keep this in mind. Also, there’s a convenience store right next to the entrance on the first floor, making it convenient to buy simple food or necessary items. The amenities provided are mostly basic, but it was a bit inconvenient not to have body lotion, and the shower pressure was on the weaker side. On Sundays, the housekeeping staff regularly comes to ask if they can clean around 9 AM, but communication was somewhat difficult due to language barriers. While I mentioned a few downsides, overall it was a satisfying accommodation, and I would likely stay here again when I visit Hanoi.

The room was very clean and convenient, and the location was good. It is located in a high-rise area near Hanoi Midin, and it's a place where you must have breakfast. The fitness facilities are well-equipped, and the swimming pool between the buildings is a must-visit. My four-day stay was enjoyable. The place was tidy every day, and they were very accommodating with additional requests, so I am willing to visit again.
Calidas service apartments come equipped with everything you need to feel at home, and more! The apartment even has a washer and a dryer for cleaning your clothes (no detergent provided though). The pool was under maintenance the month I was there. Would be nice to know that in advance.

Conclusion: The hotel deserves 5 stars, but the accommodation part is generally clean and spacious compared to a regular residence, and the facilities are quite good as they share with the Intercontinental hotel (the buffet is separate). It's hard to fully satisfy both, but I think it’s a pretty decent hotel. Most aspects are satisfying, but since the hotel has a lobby on the 48th floor with accommodations from 49 to 60 floors, it can take surprisingly more than 5 minutes to get to the ground floor; the elevators are too slow. The choice is yours, and make a good decision.
