"Great value for the night but badly let down by the on duty chef. I ordered a cottelette with a parma ham covering and sweet baby onions. The meal was delivered and because of my fatigue and hunger I ate a BROWN meal. Everything on the plate was brown or shades of. The cotlette I swear had been heated e through in a microwave as the batter was soft and not crisp as it should be and then covered in a strange looking brown sauce with pools of salt in it. In other words it was seasoned to an excess and to cap it all was luke warm IN PLACES which one again microwave comes into the conversation. The pickled onions were OVER pickled, too much vinegar on my plate. The upside was they brought me a glass of Prosecco which was lovely and a few deep fried things which sort of filled me but on the house. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Reception was thoughtful and helpful so 10 out of ten. Breakfast was yet again very luke warm, I just hate barely warm scrambled eggs and bacon. The restyof breakfast was fine with a general good offering and busy trying to cope under the restrictions of Covid 19 which I thought the staff did very well. The room was fine for the money, bed really comfortable . So yes go but be prepared to be picky. I was just shattered from a drive from Germany. "
