Great stay at the ChaoKoh Phi Phi”

Our stay was great. The staff was helpful and very friendly. One gal in particular, June Manatchanok, went out of her way to be friendly and helpful. Thank you June!! Our room was very spacious and clean. The location was perfect--something I was very concerned about when I was searching for a place to stay. We were very close to everything yet slightly removed. We slept well--it wasn't noisy. The included breakfast was tasty and the open air restaurant had a beautiful view of the bay. It was special and we had the best time. Lastly, we were there over New Year's Eve and the resort threw a dinner party which was a festive celebration in the large, grassy courtyard. It was really nice and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you ChaoKoh Phi Phi--we will never forget visiting your beautiful island!!

The best place to stay on Phi Phi ”

I've stayed in Phi Phi numerous times over the years and I have to say the ChaoKoh Phi Phi Hotel & Resort was by far the best place I've stayed in on the island. Location is perfect, less than 5 walk minutes from the pier. You're close to all the shops, bars and restaurants, as well as both beaches. The hotel has recently been renovated so everything is new including the pool area and gym. I found all the staff were really friendly as well.

Great spot, Great Room!!”

This place exceeded expectations 100 fold. The room we were given was huge, at least 600 square feet complete with a small patio and glass encased standing shower. Bath robes were provided and the in room refrigerator mini bar had Chang stocked for just slightly above mainland prices. Wi-fi was fast and reliable, A/C unit worked to perfection and the shower delivered good pressure and mostly constant temperatures. The whole place is designed with purpose! Clean and organized which made me feel at home and instantly relaxed for a night on a Thai island. Originally when I booked a hotel in Koh Phi Phi I saw many hotels with very cheap prices. However after looking more closely at reviews it appeared that I made a critical error in selection. Luckily I was able to cancel the reservation on booking.com via Southwest.com Hotels/Rapid Rewards site. Then found Chao Kho Phi Phi Hotel and knew that was the best option and booked it instantly.

Exceptional”

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at ChaoKoh Phi Phi resort. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was big and comfy. The location was convenient you can easily walk to places. It's about 5 minutes walk from all the bars and parties so you don't hear all the music and noise from the bars and parties. I enjoyed hanging out at their pool. Would stay here again if I visit Koh Phi Phi in the future.

Perfect, perfect, absolutely perfect stay in Ko Phi Phi!!”

We booked deluxe seaview room, and because of some of reviews we were uncertain what will we get.We got room 307 on the 3rd floor. When we stepped in we just stood there and said: "wow!!". Perfect,very big, comfortable room, with large windows and great view of palm trees in yard beneath us and sea and mountain in front. My boyfriend said: "I could stay in this room only for the rest of my holiday".Bathroom was big, modern, equipped with everything you could need. A/c worked well and was very silent.Absolutely no noise during the night, and bed was big and comfortable so we slept like babies.If you put sign on the door they clean your room every day and put fresh towels and toiletries.Breakfast had variety of options and it was served on a beautiful terrace overlooking tonsai pier.From the moment we arrived to hotel personel was smiling, very polite, and ready to answer our every question.500 THB deposit is required for the room key. If I come to Ko Phi Phi again I will stay only here.

Great resort and awesome staff! ”

The location is great. You are in the middle of everything but it's still quiet at night. The pool is nice and you can take pool towels from the bar. The restaurant offers tasty food and live music. At breakfast you have a nice variety and different egg meals cooked on the spot. The deluxe room with the garden view are quite big and have a nice view over the garden, pool and bay. The bathroom is big but since it's a lot if humidity, there is a moldy smell, at times but plenty of hot water. The bell boys were great, helped with the baggage and presented the room. The ladies from reception handled the check-in and check-out very professional. Also, we caught the Lay Krathong festival and the hotel had lanterns prepared for the guests that wanted to attend. Overall, a great experience in Koh Phi Phi!

Lovely relaxing break”

We stayed at Chao Koh for 2 nights initially and then extended for a further two as we much preferred Phi Phi Don to Phuket - much more relaxing pace on this island and this hotel in particular was central to everything, had a luxury feel and was partnered with a restaurant 30 seconds walk away (with a 10% discount voucher available from reception for food). The pool area is really wonderful and the staff look after you very well. We had a couple of issues with our room when we arrived which were dealt with immediately. We stayed in a Double Deluxe Room which was very spacious and modern feeling - this is the nicest looking hotel on the island I think! Seconds away from the beach, transport links, food - definitely would recommend! One thing worth mentioning is that there is a deposit to pay for the room key and they are very strict with checkin and checkout times.

Good location, a short walk from the pier”

We upgraded to a beach view room, nice room overlooking the harbour side of the island. The hotel was having trouble with the drains in our block of rooms. The first room we were given smelt pretty bad so we were moved to another room unfortunately it was smaller but didn't stink. Later on in our stay we had drain problems with this room,. On the up side when ever we had an issue the staff were excellent and tried their best to solve it . The pool was smallish but served the purpose. So many hotels on phi phi island so do your research and find one that suits your needs and purpose. I would recommend this hotel as it was an enjoyable stay dispite th.e issues and was value for money. Breakfast was average but it did cater for all cultures.v

Absolutely fabulous ”

I could not fault this hotel even if I tried. Everything from the location, the service, the ambiance and the rooms were just sensational. The staff could not do enough for us. The rooms were comfortable bright airy and spacious. The location was within close proximity to absolutely everything. The staff members were always on hand to assist with anything , they were so friendly and polite. The facilities were amazing, restaurant, pool , gym were all at our finger tips. I could not recommend this hotel enough. It is fantastic and really made our time in Koh Phi Phi.

Lovely place right next to the beach”

The location is perfect, right on the quiet part of Koh Phi Phi, but in walking distance to everything we needed. The rooms were nice, the bathrooms clean. The only issue we had with the garden room was that the door has a large gap underneath it and all the mosquitoes kept coming inside. Since I was terrified of some disease, they helped us spray the room and to help ease my fear, they upgraded us to the rooms inside the main building, which were mosquito-free. So I do recommend booking those if we share the same phobias. Also, they are building an extension, but we weren't too bothered by the noise. It indeed started at 8 o'clock, but if we were tired enough, we could easily sleep through it.

What a dream!”

We transferred to this hotel after a terrible experience elsewhere on the island, and we cried tears of happiness when we entered the room. For just $48/night USD we had an ocean view! Little towels folded into elephants! We even had picked a flower from a tree outside and left it on a table, and when housekeeping had come through, they had put the flower in water! Such a thoughtful, amazing place to stay. Would recommend it over and over! If I'm ever staying in Phi Phi again, I know where to come back to!

Great stay”

Stayed on koh phi phi for 2 nights and after being in northern Thailand in hostels for a week we wanted a hotel experience. The location was the best part it was walking distance to everything on the island. Rooms were huge and clean and bathrooms were nice. Rooms could use more soundproofing as we heard housekeeping in the neighboring rooms in the morning. Other than that it was a great stay overall and would stay again if coming back to phi phi

Good stay in Phi Phi”

I reckon this hotel is a great option to stay in Phi Phi. The location is great, next to the pier where most tours depart from. The hotel is being renovated so the rooms are nice, and we couldn’t listen noise from the construction. The only problem we found is that there was a bit of bad smells in the toilet.

Found a gem in phi-phi”

This property had everything you expect when you go to phi phi. - Perfect location - 5 min walk from the pier ; 5 min walk from the party area ; 2 min walk from all the good restaurants - Newly constructed so cleanliness and facilities were top notch - That have sea facing restaurant, very delicious breakfast buffet During my stay, it was raining one of the days. I was fully drenched and when I returned at the hotel, there was this guy from stand team waiting with hot towels for the guest. That was really nice.

A good place to stay near Tonsai Pier on Phi Phi Don”

The hotel was renovated in 2018 and everything looked nice and clean. The room was spacious and very clean. What I didn't liked was the smell of the smell of sewage, but that os the problem everywhere on Phi Phi Island. The hotel is situated so that you are close to the beach, and you can get connected with all the crowded activities. Thanks to the U shape of the complex, you can have quiet in the rooms.

It is actually more than cool. Its the best. Its so close to the boat, that you can walk there and back before eating up your ice cream. And Thailand is really hot. So go figure. No, but really. Clean, nice, quiet (even though phi phi tends not to be quiet). But, this is experience of the deluxe room in the hotel.

Great location”

We love going to Phi Phi, but the loud noises from the bars can keep you awake at night. ChaoKoh was amazing and we couldn't hear any noise. It was a perfect fit for us while traveling with parents.

Quiet, newly renovated hotel - great pool! ”

Was a very nice stay! The hotel was newly renovated and very big rooms! The pool was beautiful and relaxing. Just steps away from the action of Ko phi phi but quiet so you could sleep when you finished partying. A little far from the beach but nothing is really far here, about 7 min walk. Very close to the pier and main shops. We didn’t have dinner at the restaurant as it was very expensive but the breakfast included was great and had a beautiful view! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful trip!
