Me and my girlfriend stayed at Chatrium Riverside Hotel on the 08/07/2025 to 13/05/2025. We booked the Suite River View on the 16th storey and had a wonderful time. I will separate the pros and cons as below. Pros 1 - Professional 5-Star staffs be it the receptionist, F&B and housekeeping. Receptionist brought us to our room to show us around since it’s our first stay there. Housekeeping kept our room clean. Servers for breakfast ensured the tables are kept clean and asked if we needed anything such as coffee or tea. 2 - The view from our balcony is top notch. We got to see the sunset from our room. Fireworks at Icon Siam. We even had a great time drinking wine on our spacious balcony. 3 - Hot water shower was great. The water temperature maintained throughout our shower. 4 - Pillow and bed was comfortable and clean. 5 - Sufficient lifts to accommodate the guest. Not too crowded. 6 - Shampoo and shower gel is from Panpuri. I love the lemongrass smell. 7 - Breakfast was very good. But I hope that the hotel can provide ice in the future so that we can make our own Ice Coffee / Ice Cappuccino without needing to inform the F&B staffs to make for us. Cons 1 - There was a gap in our balcony door. Strong wind will create this loud sound through the gap. It sounded like a train going through a tunnel. High pitch sound. 2 - Quite a distance from BTS. But there is a boat shuttle service to transfer us to Sathon Pier every 30 minutes. 3 - Breakfast can be crowded at around 9am. Come early around 7am to avoid the crowd. Overall, it was a great experience. We had a romantic time at the hotel. Hey, I may even propose to my girlfriend there in the future 55555. Our experience with the Chatrium Hotel started before we even entered the oversized lobby doors. Arriving in Bangkok after traveling for 36 hours from our home in Iowa, we were tired and the luggage was starting to get very heavy. I don't know if the concierge of the hotel saw the look of desperation on my face as I was lugging our bags towards the hotel or just really loves his job, but before I knew it an ambitous young man, who I had hoped was employed by the hotel, was out the door and taking two of our bags without even knowing that we were for sure checking in at the hotel. I wasn't sure at that moment but it was a sign to come of the exceptional service that we would come to expect with our next two days we stayed with the Chatrium Hotel. The staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. They were quick to respond to our questions and comments and were patient while we tested out the very few words of Thai that we had learned before arriving in Bangkok. The staff all spoke very good English and everything was done with a smile. We arrived at ~9:30 AM and check in was not until 2:00 PM but they were willing to hold our luggage while we explored the nearby neighborhood for a bit. Starbucks and 7/11 right next to hotel is super convenient. When we came back ~11:30 our room was ready and luggage was already delivered to our room! We also requested a later check out of 2:00 PM versus noon which they also accommodated with a smile. The hotel itself was beautiful, we had a king suite with a city view balcony, and the room was amazing. The room was very clean, had a sink, a large refrigerator and freezer, along with a two burner stove top and an oven. We didn't use the stove/oven, but I am sure they worked just fine. The balcony did have a very nice view of the river and the city. The city sounds were not noticed from our room and we both slept very nicely in the very comfortable bed. The shower was a glass walled shower with great water pressure and a separate bath tub. The toilets did have a bidet, which we enjoy in our very own home (highly recommended if you don't have one) and everything seemed clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing the two mornings that we were guests of the hotel. We commented between the two of us that it had to be one of the best buffet style breakfasts that we had been to in quite a few years. The selection of fresh fruits, breads and a huge variety of breakfast options, from fried rice to eggs and potatoes to bacon and ham to oatmeal and a wide variety of coffee and juice options. The staff was very attentive and quickly cleaned up our used plates and, again, I had a hotel employee help me carry something else I was having trouble with, an overfilled coffee cup. This steady handed gentlemen saw my dilemma and without hesitation rushed over to help me get the overflowing coffee cup safely to my table with minimal spilling. The pool area was beautiful, to say the least. It was very clean and the staff, as we come to expect based on our experiences with the rest of the hotel, was very attentive and friendly. The bathrooms were very clean and the wall/waterfalls were picturesque while providing a relaxing running/falling water sound. There were always plenty of towels and places available to set up at the pool, and while we only had two drinks while we were at the pool, those were prepared quickly and delivered, again, with very friendly and smiling faces. We at one point asked about how to mail a post card and the gentleman that was at the concierge desk to help us out was almost lacing up his running shoes to go get the stamp when we said we just needed direction, but that is our basic experience at this hotel. The staff was great, the hotel was beautiful and clean, the food at the restaurant was amazing. I don't know if there is anything else we really could have asked for from the staff or the facility that would have made our experience any better. What an amaz

Everything is good on this hotel from room to lobby to having nice breakfast. Staff is helpful also when you need help with things. If hotel can provide some shuttle service to Asiatique will be even better. Thumb up 👍

Me and my family had the pleasure of staying at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok recently, and everything about the experience was truly spectacular — far beyond my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. Thanks to Mr Por ( hope i spell this right ) always helping me to explain things and even provided me the map of Bangkok, he also very helpful arranging tuk tuk for us. To the Concierge dept, keep the good teamwork because you guys awesome‼️ To the reception dept, you guys awesome too. To the restaurant dept, you guys also awesome‼️ Thanks for the 2 cups of Ice Latte everyday without failed 😘 ( its included in breakfast ) All the staff were truly deeply amazing because every single one if them can speak English very very well— from those at the entrance outside the hotel to everyone inside throughout the entire building. Their hospitality, friendliness, and genuine care made a lasting impression on us. The room was immaculate, spacious, and offered a breathtaking view of the river. Every detail, from cleanliness to comfort, was spot on. The food at the hotel was another highlight — every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and offered a great variety of choices. I was especially impressed that they provided a Halal (vegetarian) food section, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. The facilities were top-notch, including the pool, gym, and the overall ambiance of the hotel. The location was also ideal, with easy access to key spots in Bangkok via the river shuttle. Starbucks and 7E just round the corner Everything — the food, the staff, the room, and the services — was perfect. This hotel truly exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok. I’m already looking forward to coming back!!!
