Where to stay in Chatuchak
Chatuchak hotels & accommodations
The hotel is very near Chatuchak night market. Overall a great stay at the hotel, and worth the price. They didn't mention that there was a deposit for the room before checking in, thankfully we brought our credit cards. We had a difficult time talking to taxi drivers because they kept confusing Centara Grand to Central Plaza (mall) in Ladprao. For transportation, we r...
I booked studio room apartment. Once arrived (I arrived on 11am) the staff upgraded me to 1 bathroom apartment and we managed to check in early. feel so relive after early flight from Kuala Lumpur. What special is we can cook in the unit, they provide induction cooker. Room also provided with refrigerator and microwave oven. Pool not that big but just nice to enjoy, th...
Vic3 hotel is the best we have stayed in Bangkok, comparable to Accor! Good price, with a welcome drink. 5 minutes from Sanam Pao BTS exit 3. 7eleven at the same exit. 3 stops away from Chatuchak and 4 stops away from Siam. Very delicious chicken/pork noodle soup stall located in front of the hotel, opens from Tuesday to Friday in the day. A hidden gem The Coffee Pot C...
Having stayed in a few different hotels during my stay in Thailand, Livotel was one of the better accommodations I booked in terms of the room itself. Everywhere I’ve been the staffs have been great as well, and Livotel is no different in that respect. The only unfortunate downside is that I was looking forward to sleeping in on the morning of my particular stay, but w...
Definitely a value for money stay. The room had everything we needed, including free flow complimentary coffee/biscuit in the hallway. Nice choices and touches of interior all around the hotel, and quite regrettable that we didn't get to try any of the restaurants (inc. the ice cream parlour there). Location-wise it is not central Bangkok but just 2 BTS stations away ...
we arrived at sanam pao station (exit 3, near 7-11) in the midst of a thunderstorm at 7pm. called the hotel and they will immediately arrange for a pickup and told us to look out for a brown vehicle. my girlfriend and i nearly burst into laughter when a brown tuk-tuk arrived out of nowhere and drove onto the pavement! that was our very first tuk tuk ride in bangkok. th...
UMA Residence is located close to Yanhee International Hospital and the Chao Phraya river in a bustling area of Siyan where locals eat from the sidewalk food stalls. We stayed for 15 nights and UMA Residence is like a home away from home. Upon arrival We were presented with an orange juice and the very warm reception was like no other We had received. This accom...
If you are looking to go to Chatuchak, look no further! Pros The location is central and walking distance from rail line and Chatuchak. We went to Chatuchak 3times in one day because we needed a break every few hours. The lady at the reception (luk or luck) was the best. She made us feel very welcome and she even kept my beer cold after check out in the ice cream fr...
This is the second time i stayed here because it's a lovely hotel and it's location to chatuchak market. It is a bit far from the main tourist spot's but thanks to cheap taxi's and transport links at chatuchak market (skytrain and underground) it is sometimes worth staying a bit further out in a nice hotel for a good price than a poor hotel in the city center.
Area is near Chatuchak so if your up for some shopping the area then I highly recommend this place. Where do I start? 1. Location - Again, if you plan to buy in Chatuchak (not personal shopping but for business) then this place is highly recommended. If you buy bulk in Chatuchak, they will deliver it in this hotel. The hotel staff will keep your items while you are a...
My second stay here! Both times I stayed in different rooms, I really like the both of them! Really pretty rooms! Moving around bkk is also really easy, they have a free buggy service from hotel to MRT so it’s very convenient for guests!! Plus it’s very near to chatuchak weekend market!! There’s also a common area where u can get some light snacks, drinks, and instant ...
For my last three days in Bangkok I chose the Elisabeth Hotel, since it’s close to the Chatuchak market (1 km., 40 Baht on a motorbike taxi) and also close to Saphan Khwai station, where you take the sky train to Phaya Thai station, where you change to the Airport Rail Link to Suvarnabhumi. Though a little old and old fashioned, things work alright at Elisabeth: my ro...
Ziniza seems to locate at an ulu area of chatuchak but entering the hotel seems a total different place. There have 24 hour reception service, nice dining area and reception, the room my friend and I stayed furnished with LCD Samsung TV. DVD player, equipped bathroom and comfortable beds. Among all the three hotels stayed, Ziniza is one of the best hotel and best week...
Walking distance from Mo Chit BTS Station and Chatuchak! So this is the right hotel for you if you want to visit Chatuchak weekend market or JJ Green night market. You can find everything in this area. Staff hotel are very friendly. I got nice, spacious, clean room. Hard bed but it's ok! Just need 5 hours sleep after long day at Chatuchak. Hotel provide water dispenser...
Depending on what you are after for Bangkok, this hotel may or may not suit your needs, based on location. For me, it was perfect. I have been to BKK several times and have stayed along the river as well as on and around Sukhumvit, for both holiday and business trips. This trip was business, so I didn't need all of what BKK offers the new or veteran tourist. Saying...
They always clean our room every single day (and they do not touch our personal things) so I'm giving 5 stars for the cleaners of this hostel. They should be given a raise. The receptionists are okay but would be better if they were more hospitable towards new guests. The rooms are spacious and private bathrooms are squeaky clean. The only thing I'd like to point out ...
i stayed at this clean and modern boutique hotel for ten nights in october 2011 and was very impressed with the quality of the rooms and other hotel ammenities. the restaurant and room service are awesome. the complimentary breakfast had thai and western style foods, with lots of freshly sliced fruits. the bar is well stocked with local beers and liquors. this hote...
Probably is a newly renovated hotel. Didnt expect such a good quality room. I would say is good value for money. Also like to apprciate and thanks the front desk and bell boy support. They are very helpfull and reflect professional in providing service to guest. Surpricingly the bell boy speak very good Chinese that make me so easy to ask for help. Forgot to ask for...
My wife and I have stated at KU Home on extended stays of up to three weeks many times over the past 20 years. We like low-key places that are in interestibg environments. KU is within the Kasetsart University campus. We have been able to meet many students around the campus, especially at the low-cost student canteen and a workout location. We have always met in...
i recommended 100% for this place.. - nice place, very clean and new building - kindness for staff - near 5mins to Bts Saphan Kwai - near chatuchak when weekend - and if you wanna go to Platinum Fashion Mall or Pratunam market, you can by bus ..bus stop is front hostel.. number bus 54.. very cheaper transportation in bangkok only 9 thb.. can drop front pratunam.. than...
Clean, updated rooms. Cool vibe. Wound't necesserily use it as a base to check out the city, but it's not in a bad location at all. Near Don Mueang and Chatuchak market. Would stay here again for sure.
The first and only other time I stayed at this hotel was a couple of years ago when it was still fairly new. I was very pleased with the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. I was concerned a little bit when I booked this time knowing that often in Thailand hotels become run down after a few years and are not serviced as well, but my concerns were unwarranted. In fa...
It’s basically just beside bts station , and came very useful for us budget travelers . It’s also not that far from chatuchak market, definitely within walking distance , you can bring a trolley and shop till you drop (more from the Bangkok heat than the shopping load, I shall say, haha). The only downside of this place is lack of elevator, and would be challenging for...
We had a 3 night stay here, it was ok but wouldn’t stay again for the following reasons 1. Advertised as having a swimming pool but did not exist. If I had known this I would have never booked the hotel as my children love swimming pools 2. Booked an interconnecting room which was true but we were told on arrival the interconnecting door cannot be shut as they don’t...
Pros. The shower was warm and good. The AC worked good. Good lighting. The cleaning staff were very friendly. Walking distance to many great eating places. The building has an elevator. I would book this hotel again. Cons. The key deposit was 500B. The wifi was pretty poor quality; don't expect to do any internet calling with Facebook or Line. There were a few ants ar...
We loved everything about this place (except the location), and we got used to that quickly. Room was clean and nice. Staff was very helpful but the language barrier can sometimes be difficult. Either way they were super helpful and everything got done. The building is nice and filled with art by local artists. They also have several art books available about contemp...
The room is clean, spacious with your own balcony. The design is impressive. Smart use of space - chairs double up as storage area. We also love the showerhead on the ceiling. There's also microwave (rare for hotels) in every room and wi-fi is easy to connect to. For those on a very tight budget, this is definitely a good option - it is 10-15 minutes walk to Ari BTS. O...
Is just 400m walking distance to BTS sanam pao or 500 m to BTS Ari. Few stations away from Chatuchak. Is located at quiet area, if you would like to stay in busy area you may opt out for it. Very homey feel as is service apartment. Provided almost everything like hotel. The bed is very comfortable. I had 3 nights there and is very good stay and sleep. What can comment ...
1. This place has the nicest people. They are very accomodating and very friendly. 2. We loved the place, it's very peaceful and lovely. Being able to hang around the garden is a plus instead of staying indoors. 3. Our room is very clean and cosy. 4. The shared bathroom is clean. 5. The breakfast they provided is simple yet filling. And even though we have checked o...
It is the most perfect hotel for the chatuchak market. It costs 50baht by taxi to the market. Across the road is the fabulous movie house where the latest movies can all be seen in english in 3D.Food is across the road on streets and in the plaza, there is a small, night market as well. You have the central plaza also across the road and a 7-11 next to the hotel.
Cheap places to stay in Chatuchak

1.good location, while arriving can direct take A1 bus from Don Muang airport to chatuchak then walk for 20 min to this property or take BTS from city direct to Saphan Khwai station and walk inside one of the lane(very near). 2.outlook of this hostel is very good but inside was so so only. 3. must put 300bath for deposit while check-in. 4.no towel provided. 5.Secure ele...
ORA Hostel will be the perfect accomodation for travellers who wants to be near the BTS. The building is literally a 1min walk from Saphan Khwai BTS station (which is also one station away from Mo Chit station if you wanna visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market). The hostel staffs were super friendly & helpful too even though some of them might not speak good english but ...
My stay at Vestel was overall a good experience; I booked a private room which was well-decorated, modern & clean, as was the rest of the property in general. The communal areas in particular are beautiful! However, the check-in & service was less than perfect. I arrived at the hotel to a closed entrance where you have to press a buzzer to gain entry - this is great, t...
first thing, i want to talk about the good things in this guesthouse. the booking fee is cheap, and it is near seven eleven (0.75km) and many food street vendors, so you don't have to worry much about foods.foreigner customer come here, often celebrate party with each other, so you may have chance to make friend with people. the guesthouse also has 4 shared clean and b...
I had one day (Saturday) in Bangkok and wanted to visit Chatuchak Market. I arrived late on Fri night, checked in with no problem, 6-to-a-room bed was capsule-style - SO COMFORTABLE, sheets smelled so nice and fresh, comforter was fluffy and soft, toilets were clean, shower stalls provided shampoo, soap and conditioner, breakfast was limited selection BUT THE FRIED RIC...
Really cool and edgy decor, and really easy to find. Just up the road from Chatuchak Weekend Market and the BTS. First thing we realised is our room didn't have a window?? Wouldn't normally care that much but there was lots of really loud building work going on next door, plus I booked this hostel as it's close the the BTS station we need for early tomorrow morning. O...
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Adventure Hostel. Location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to do, furthest place was a $2.00 taxi ride.. It is also less than five minutes from Chatuchak open air market. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and had answers to all my questions and needs. As soon as the front door opens you realize you made the righ...
I wish we stayed here longer than 1 night. It's everything we want from a hotel/ hostel in Bangkok: clean & cute (a sight for sore eyes after a 10-hour journey from Koh Chang), about 3 mins walk from a BTS station (Saphan Khwai), and less than 5 mins walk from Chatuchak Weekend Market (if you're there on a Friday night, check out the Chatuchak Friday Night Market). We ...
This place is great with large spacious rooms and great socialising area downstairs. Every morning they made breakfast which was some mornings eggs and then another time I had mince pork and rice which was delicious. This was good as I couldn't have anything from the breakfast table which they offered complimentary cornflakes, milk , biscuits, bread and yogurt. (Glute...
Clean room with luggage storage under bed for every guest. Curtains keep me private and sleep better. Walking distance to inexpensive food center and coins laundry. Opposite from Chatuchak Park and close to Night Market and Chatuchak weekend Market. Not far from Central Department Store and Tesco Lotus. You also can buy food and produce at Top Market inside Central D...
Clean, comfortable and safe hostel in a great location. I gave it 4 stars only because it's not right next to a BTS station - it's a 10 minute walk from Victory Monument or Sanam Pao BTS, but having said that I would stay here again. Very easy access (5 min walk) to Victory Monument with a lot of buses, motorcycle taxis and very easy to flag taxis down right in front o...
The hostel is just 10-15min walk from Chatuchak market, depending on your pace.
Nice Hostel for shopper who looking for accommodation near chatuchak market. The hostel provide common area where you can hang out with friends there. They also provide few games there. Only the reception is not 24 hour.
The hostel is new and clean, its location is near to both bts ari and bts sanam pao (5minute walking distance).. The best thing about the hostel is the owner which was super helpful, tell him your plan and he will give recommendation or give help if needed, his english was super as well, so there's no problem communicating with him, there is simple breakfast provided a...
Amazing hostel! Very glad that we have booked this hostel. Extremely comfortable bed and very clean shower. Water pressure for shower is very strong. Many designs are very user friendly, socket with usb inlet, after box and locker controlled by the same key card. Breakfast is delicious, I particular like their fried rice and porridge. just 10 mins walk to Chatuchak...

Highly recommended!!! The reception customer service is very good. We travel in 4, and we actually have a trouble with our Uber driver before we check in. The hotel night shift staff try her best to help us on the issue. We really appreciate it. What a surprise the hotel provide free cup noodles and an egg for each customer. We have great supper :) We need to take t...

It was great staying at the Ratchavipa Residence, it really did exceed all of my expectations. It was fine, the place is ok if you just need to spend one night in Bangkok and then take a bus or a plane the next day. It is very close to Chatuchak. But it is falling apart, specially the bathrooms. The bedroom was ok but could have been much cleaner. On the other hand there was a super nice girl of the staff, very helpful.

Pros-I think the cheapest and close to Chatuchak market but still a bus ride Cons- Too far from the main spots so it will cost you more for the transportation. Toiletries provided is just shampoo, nothing more so you need to buy your soap, tissue etc. No elevator so make sure you don’t buy too much to carry upstairs going to your room.
Nice Location to Chatuchak and the rest of central Bangkok and good connection to all station even to Airport.
Needed a cheap and simple place around Chatuchak. This hotel is either new or has been well refurbished. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean, room simple and tidy bathroom. Its not all that big, but perfect for a single traveller or short stay. So many hotels in Thailand have average/poor TV reception but the flat screen in my room was fine. I will be staying in t...
Room is big and well equipped 15min drive from don mueng airport, near chatuchak Breakfast adequate for the price paid. Wifi strong
Lovely home within easy walking distance to BTS. Has a cute little kitten that is ready to play. Very helpful And friendly staff; we really enjoyed our stay here.
We landed at Don Muang Airport, far from the hotel about 10 km and it took us only 10-15 mins (by cab) to reach the place. Room was really new and clean. Hotel’s wifi was working fast. Staff was really friendly and helpful. (We booked Superior room and on the date we checked-in, they upgrade and gave us Deluxe room with no additional cost!!) Very near to Major Ratchay...

We booked under QVI and Club Ultima; hence, our rooms/suites are very large. The room assigned to us was very clean and with a breathtaking view of the Bangkok interchange. What I liked: new hotel, comfortable rooms, 7-eleven and several eateries and a pub downstairs. What I didn't like: Breakfast is very simple. Front desk staff is inexperienced. It takes very long to check-in. This hotel is withing 20-25 minutes walk to the Chatuchak weekend market. There is shopping center along the way.
Good location off the main road, staff still new and inexperienced, therefore things are a bit slow. Otherwise, a nice , comfortable stay. Lack of an elevator is a negative as elderly folks may not be able to climb the stairs.
The owner Mr Imm will do anything to make your stay as pleasant and convenient as possible. We arrived from Suvarnabhumi very early in the morning and an early check-in at our suite was no problem at all. The unit is very spacious and has everything to recover from heavy jetlag and recharge your batteries. The morning after, we had to catch the Southern Line train from...

We came as a group of friends from overseas and decided to stay here as the unit looked really spacious. It is near Chatuchak and getting a tax was easy and there was a few restaurants closeby which made it convenient to step out for a bite. The unit is quite big and works for both family getaways or group parties.
