"We booked under QVI and Club Ultima; hence, our rooms/suites are very large. The room assigned to us was very clean and with a breathtaking view of the Bangkok interchange. The staff are all very polite particularly those at the information counter. Ms. Oye, who assisted us in the dinner cruise booking at Chao Phraya river, was truly accommodating and provided us some helpful tips in going around the city. The entire hotel is very nice and elegant. Although the hotel is a little far from the downtown, it's ok because it's not difficult to call a cab and the fare is only around 70 baht (approximately from Makati to Malate distance). There are peddlers in front of the hotel and the fruits they sell are really good particularly the mangosteen, papaya, pineapple, and mango (sarap) and very reasonably priced! The 7/11 convenience stores, are a little far if you go there by walking; but a large grocery store, the Big C, is very near via taxi. The famous Chatuchak is also very near the hotel but we were not able to go there. Given the chance, I would still go back and book at this hotel."

"Probably is a newly renovated hotel. Didnt expect such a good quality room. I would say is good value for money. Also like to apprciate and thanks the front desk and bell boy support. They are very helpfull and reflect professional in providing service to guest. Surpricingly the bell boy speak very good Chinese that make me so easy to ask for help. Forgot to ask for his name. Hope Hotel will reward him with my review. He has make my day staying in this hotel so easy. He also recommended me to use metered Taxi instaed of Grab. That save me quite a bit of money on the transfer to Chatuchak (67TB) and Airport (140TB) from this hotel. I am giving excellent rating for the stay in this hotel."

The hotel room like vintage, like 60's 70's style , a lot furniture is wooden made, and the vintage look maroon color sofa. Thinking of my parent and grand parent they staying this kind of room. However the bed, pillow and towel is in good edition. cleanliness. Can easily go to chatuchak by bus or BTS. also Don Mueng airport by bus or taxi."

"1. This place has the nicest people. They are very accomodating and very friendly. 2. We loved the place, it's very peaceful and lovely. Being able to hang around the garden is a plus instead of staying indoors. 3. Our room is very clean and cosy. 4. The shared bathroom is clean. 5. The breakfast they provided is simple yet filling. And even though we have checked out in the morning, we are still able to hang around the plave. Since our flight was at night we went to the chatuchak market in the morning and when we returned in the afternoon, the staff let us stay in the family room to repack our luggage and chill and we are able to shower and freshen up before going to the airport as well. We would love to come back to this place when we come back in bangkok!"

"Having stayed in a few different hotels during my stay in Thailand, Livotel was one of the better accommodations I booked in terms of the room itself. Everywhere I’ve been the staffs have been great as well, and Livotel is no different in that respect. The only unfortunate downside is that I was looking forward to sleeping in on the morning of my particular stay, but was awoken by the unavoidable sounds of pipes clanging, amongst a myriad of other foreign sounds that were produced by construction taking place right outside my room (before 8:00 a.m.). Even with the windows shut, the construction sounded as if it was taking place on the bed right beside me. Now I do understand that this is not the fault of Livotel, as I’m sure it’s not something they’re too happy about either if I had to take a guess, and eventually the construction will finish and all will be peaceful again. But, for the time being, if you’re looking to get a good, long night’s sleep, perhaps look elsewhere until the construction is finalized. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

"What I liked: new hotel, comfortable rooms, 7-eleven and several eateries and a pub downstairs. What I didn't like: Breakfast is very simple. Front desk staff is inexperienced. It takes very long to check-in. This hotel is withing 20-25 minutes walk to the Chatuchak weekend market. There is shopping center along the way."

"ORA Hostel will be the perfect accomodation for travellers who wants to be near the BTS. The building is literally a 1min walk from Saphan Khwai BTS station (which is also one station away from Mo Chit station if you wanna visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market). The hostel staffs were super friendly & helpful too even though some of them might not speak good english but thats not a big problem at all. I booked a private room with ensuite and the facilities were decent enough for the price charged :) I will definitely consider to go back next time if I were to visit bangkok again! For travellers with huge luggages I wouldn't recommend the private room though because of the room size. Backpacking style or small bagpacks will be fine :)"
