The Clarke Quay and Raffles Place MRT stations are nearby, so getting around is easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the breakfast was very basic (just bread and jam). I also stayed in the upper capsule, and the stairs were a bit steep. Plus, the fixed shower head wasn’t ideal—I'd prefer a handheld one for easier use. I stayed at Circular House for 4 nights and am very satisfied with my choice. - The hotel is very close to the MRT, bus station, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Boat Quay. - There are affordable restaurants across the street. - Near Song Fa Bah Ku Teh and Jump Seafood (which is often very crowded). - Close to Chinatown (just one bus ride or one MRT stop away). I recommend choosing a private room because: - The price is only slightly higher than a capsule room. - The room is small but has more space so it feels less cramped, with a small table to put personal items like makeup or medicine. - There is space to change and try on clothes. - You can hang towels and clothes to prevent them from wrinkling (not much space though). - It's advisable to bring an extra fabric bag to transfer items from the suitcase to the fabric bag to save space in the room (the suitcase can be stored in a locker). - The shared bathroom outside is relatively clean, and staff clean it thoroughly in the morning. - You are provided with 2 towels and 2 hangers. - It’s a good idea to bring slippers to avoid getting wet when going to the bathroom (or the hotel may rent them out). - Free breakfast is provided, including bread, butter, jam, coffee, and tea, which is quite good. - The staff is very enthusiastic and carefully guides you through everything. - Guests staying at the hotel are also very polite and do not make noise that affects others. The cost of living in Singapore is very high; if I come back again, I will also choose Circular House.
