Only 4 months old this hotel was stunning. By far the best hotel of our trip for the price. Our room was amazing, large and clean with a soft bed just meters from the pool. the pool is devine and very large.The staff were friendly and helpful. They organized bike hire and tuk tuked us into town free of charge to pick it up. Also booked our transport to Vietnam and dropped us into town at the end of our stay. Breakfast was awesome with plenty to choose from. Only negitive was it was little out of town. But we really didn't find it an issue. We would defiantly recommend this hotel.

The place sit on quiet area. Each room design is different in color theme. PRO: Price is good, location in the Kep city seem very lonely but it's a quiet and relaxing stay. Outdoor swimming pool is big and clean. CON: the hotel have no public door, it's located near the mountain, therefore, alot of insect are flying around the area of hotel, but there no harmful. However, it might borthering some people.

The hotel is quite far from the bus stop and the main attractions but that's what tuktuks are for! We managed to get one from the beach for just 75 cents so very cheap. Really nice accommodation though with very helpful staff and a really nice pool. There are some nice restaurants close by within a 10 minute walk that offer very cheap food. We did ask the staff where the nearest restaurant was and they said we would have to get a tuktuk to town which wasn't strictly true but that's why it's good to do your own research. Very comfortable air conditioned rooms with fridge and lots of channels on the TV. Ideal place for relaxing.

Location - set back just off the main road in a nice quiet spot yet close enough to use the free cycles provided to get anywhere in Kep. Hotel - The setting is lovely. The rooms are set around a central area that is home to the pool and is dotted with flowering trees and other plants that provide shade when needed. The open air bar/restaurant area is on the ground floor under a stilted building also alongside the pool.The tree houses contain rough seats and tables but have power and catch the breeze when it is hot. The rooms themselves are floor to ceiling wood making them somewhat dark during the day but great for sleeping. The king suites have their own private terraces with tables and chairs. Breakfast - is good. Always toast; french bread; eggs and pancakes cooked to order; choice of fruits and salad items; and a couple of asian dishes. We ate in every night because the food was so tasty but be prepared to wait a while as everything is freshly made. You can always enjoy happy hour cocktails while you wait. Staff - Channy, the young manager, was excellent. He spoke good english, was very friendly and organised tuk tuks and scooter rentals for us. We had a small problem with the room on arrival that was resolved very quickly and without fuss. I’m guessing most of the staff were quite new as they started a little nervous and unsure of themselves, however, they were all very keen to help and by the end of our 5 days they had all improved. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel. We will return next time we’re in Cambodia.

The Riviera Hotel in Kep just opened a few months ago and it is wonderful. The owner, Sovanna, was great and helpful. We were able to book excursions and a motorbike directly with her. She helped arrange taxi to/from Sihanoukville Airport. All the staff (including the friendly bartender!) were delightful. The place is brand new, clean and lovely - it is only 8 rooms so it is a small size and never crowded. Food was delicious. The location is great (right between the beach and port to Rabbit Island). Lots of French speakers staying/having drinks/dinner. Thanks for a great week in Kep!

Booked this place for the excellent reviews but unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay there recently. We stayed 4 nights and 2 of the nights there was no wifi and the pool's filter broke also so it was murky and green for 2 days. There wasn't any food available in the evening when we asked for the menu the kind young man replied "it's just me tonight, I'm sorry." Breakfast choices were very limited (no Khmer options, only eggs and fruit) although the fresh baguettes were nice. Out of orange juice during breakfast. Minimal staff and always looked overwhelmed. Our room was cleaned only once during our stay. I hope things get back to what it used to be. Pros, the tower has a lovely view of the sea. Location is very quiet and green. Cats and dogs were sweet and friendly. Salt water pool was nice once it was fixed.

The staff here are really helpful, the owner speaks great English and makes sure you are comfortable. This place is slightly out of the main 'city' area but you can rent a motorbike for cheap, plus the roads are pretty empty. They also have a tuk tuk there so you can be driven at any time. We were able to book a bus to Kampot easily here too. Overall very impressed with the service and great food in the restaurant.

The guesthouse was located near the ferry to rabbit island, which is the main attraction in Kep. As Kep has no real city center, the location of the guesthouse can not be titled as bad. The staff is very friendly, they help you whenever needed. the breakfast is ok (baguette with jam, or eggs, so nothing special). I ate dinner there twice, it was also only ok. The rooms were clean, a little bit small, but good value for the money. They also provided a moscito net. The garden is very beautiful and it invites you to relax and chill out. There are many french tourists in the guesthouse (I think this is because the owner are french) and I, as a non-french solo-traveller, had problems to meet people for a little chat as the french (not the owner!!) literally ignored me. But this was only my experience, and exept of that, my stay in the Rega Guesthouse was more then ok.

this property is located a fair distance from kep township and crab market, but this did not bother us as we had our own transport. could be a problem for those without own transport. one major con. we booked the rooms on agoda which stated 'breakfast included, but when we arrived downstairs for breakfast were told no, but they could give us bread. hmmm not good. however there is a local market just behind the palace, very kmai, and i was the only white face there, but we enjoyed a very cheap breakfast on both days we were in kep.

Fine Breakfasts included in affordable room rates. Lovely large rooms with fine water views an in the distance Rabbit Island. However, the large pool is still not finished, and it looks like constuction is going very, very slowly. This may be why the price was so affordable. When I asked the staff about half or day tours around the area, there were totally blank stares; they had no idea what I was talking about. So I went into the center of Kep by tuk tuk and found various little tour companies. Had a fine half day tour of the area visiting Kampot pepper plantations, picturesque caves, salt flats, farming communities and the like. Why the hotel had no idea how to book this for me is an unanswerable question. In a couple of years this will be a fine convention and tourist package. I would stay here again if the price were the same as the hotel is still not finished.

There was a problem with the airconditioner on the day I checked in, which they couldn't resolve without calling external help which came in on the next day and fixed the coolant. Staff were friendly and did their best to help though. Other than aircon problems, Room wise was comfortable and decent. Atmosphere of the resort was pleasant and relaxing. Had dinner here and the food was superb! It's next to the pier where boats depart for Rabbit Island, but a distance from the main city area (approximately 20+mins walk).
