Good location , bad reception staff ( male )”
Being traveled to 23 countries as a solo traveler , it was my first bad experience in term of hospitality. The man at the reception is not only useless but he might not like the people of colour . I have forgotten my immigration card in my st. Petersburg hotel and those nice people have post it to me and so mean while I asked this gentleman to give me a print copy of it in case I don’t receive the post in time . He gave a copy of such an important document to me on a one side used paper . My room has no curtains and so when I asked him about that , he said and I quote “ it is what it is “ their might not be curtains in other rooms as well , but you gotta give a better explanation then that .

Good option to stay close to the city center”
This small hotel is very well located, it's 10-15 minutes from the Red Square, the rooms are comfortable and very clean, it's 5 minutes away from the point where you can take a free 2 hour tour in Moscow, so it's very convenient. The staff speaks very good english so communication is fantastic. I fully recommend this small hotel if you are in a trip and want to save money.

I got a room that so huge for only 1 people but it was great , so comfortable but just one thing is the room located at the basement floor , so WI-FI cannot access into the room. Importantly , staff at the reception can speaks English very well as all of Russian people cannot speaks English at all ! but here they can and also friendly & kind. Plus , the hotel located at the good location which is close to the Centre such as St.Basil , Red Square , GUM , etc. Just walked for 10 mins or less depends on your feet speed. Also close to METRO station which is KITAY-GOROD station. Overall of this hotel was so great. :)

Great Value for Money”
I stayed at City Comfort for about a week. Rooms are small, beds are small, the Hotel is old and charming. I didn't book breakfasts but there are plenty of cafes nearby. The neighbourhood is one of Moscow's most vibrant, with lots of dinner and nightlife options. You get what you pay for, no unnecessary bells and whistles. A comfortable place to sleep while you spend most of the day out. Two negative sides: wifi was really weak, and some guests where quite loud late at night walking on the wooden corridor.

Near the heart of the city”
The location pin in the agoda map for the city comfort hotel is wrongly placed, so we spent lots of time searching our way until a friendly russian couple led us there. The room is extremely clean, spacious, simple but stylish. Good value for money.

Difficult communicate in Moscow in English”
Hotel is really comfort with good wifi speed within walking distance to red square (around 12 mins) The price of the restaurant nearby is better than the centre The hotel front door is difficult to find, You will dont believe is it a hotel, even I ask the guards in the opposite building. You have to take care the Metro Station with only 1 exit to this hotel in Northern side and you have to take the right way once drop off the train, otherwise, 20 mins walk is needed from south.

A good base for major attractions”
I arrived in Moscow on train from St Petersburg and departed from DME airport, so I selected this hotel in part due to it's proximity to public transport (less than 10 minutes walk from Kitay Gorod train station) and in walking distance (20 minutes) of all the attractions we wished to see. The room was clean and warm, very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is styled in a modern fashion which was an attraction to me, however it seems to me that the place has let itself go. The dining area downstairs looked forlorn and the kitchen was actually un-hygenic, gratefully I only went there to get boiled water. It is a little difficult to locate in a car as it is on a one way street (our friends came to pick us up one day and had to park around the corner because they couldn't find the street entrance). The staff spoke very little English although they were helpful, at times they seemed quite disinterested. Having seen Red Square and The Kremlin, if I was to stay in Moscow again I would probably stay somewhere else. Good value for the location.

Pleasantly surprised!”
I was pleasantly surprised as the hotel's interior was nothing like exterior! The hotel appeared run-down from outside but it was actually a beautifully renovated inside! Comfortable rooms will WiFi!

Good location”
My room was installed in the attic with a low ceiling. Window had no curtain so room was very bright (July) early in the morning. Wifi was slow. But staff were friendly and provided laundry (wash/dry) service. Drinking water via dispenser in hallway. Overall, only so-so especially given the price paid.

Hassle transport from airport”
We arranged an airport transfer to their hotel so that we wouldnt have problems going there. The driver however made us wait in the car for the next 20 to 30 minutes while he addresses the issue on the payment for parking. Then on our way to the hotel, we again stopped by a place near our hotel and he ended up going down again and making us wait. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told to pay extra 500 rub because the driver waited for us for an hour at the airport and because the hotel had to pay for his parking. First, it was not our fault that he waited at the airporr for an hour. We told them our arrival time and it is up to the hotel to make an estimate on when we will be able to meet the driver. Also some of our luggage were lost and we had to look for it. But we ended up paying additional because the driver waited, when in fact we also waited for him twice.

Everything is ok for me however it is a little hard to find the exact location and the first place. No Air con but the weather is not so hot and wifi is slow. Anyway, it offerred me an affordable price :)

Crappy room but good location ”
If you want to eavesdrop on your neighbor it’s the perfect hotel, the walls are paper thin so you can hear a pin drop in the next room... unless you’re sitting on the bed. It makes so much noise when you’re moving that it cancels all other noises. The staff is nice, it’s not their fault the room is in bad shape. The wifi wasn’t working half of our stay either.

the 1st night was quiet but on the 2nd night, smoking people from this hotel were outside and being noisy by talking and with their music. my room was right next to it so i woke up in the middle of the night. and the curtain was too thin so i was worried about being seen. and the bathroom was always stinky.

There is no AC and when we arrived nobody can speak english. Suggest to contact the hotel between 10:00 am to 18:00 pm if you have to communicate with staff who can speak english.
